Claimed he was diagnosed in high school and medicated. I think he even said he had a "cocktail" of different medications. Naturally couldn't / wouldn't actually name any of them. Eventually just stopped taking the meds or something.

He's said something to the effect of him growing out of it. You know, as you do. Clinical depression just kind of goes away after a few years. I think he's mistaking "dealing with the consequences of his actions the past 10 years" with depression.

What happens with many people who have some sort of mental illness is that they stop taking their meds once they “feel better” and just assume they’re cured. I think they rationalize the decision to cease taking medication due to the social stigma associated with mental illness. I know the internet is a big hug box, but you ain’t gonna go tell the guy interviewing you for a job that you have bipolar disorder or whatever. Gonna keep that to yourself unless it helps you to admit it. You definitely aren’t gonna tell a girl you matched with on tinder that you take five different psych meds daily to keep you functioning.

So DSP just jumped on the mental health bandwagon when he saw how people defended each other -online- and wanted a bit of that. Since DSP no longer interacts with society at large, he thinks that’s a way to get people off his back.

His back, his throat, his depression... They are ALL preordered excuses, every last one. It’s like madlibs; just insert the appropriate word to the appropriate situation.

Depression, especially during the adolescence - puberty- teen years, could easily be misdiagnosed, or co-morbid with another unrecognized disorder. I think it's possible that either he was a melancholy youth, easy prey for the pill dealing psych-professionals, or the diagnosed Depression was the manifestation of the "lows" of his Narcissism, which were later covered by the "highs" when he entered a period he where could exhibit his worth, like in his Street Fighter community.

The online mental health bandwagon is certainly carrying him along. My guess is that this "malingering", as it's called, began in adolescence as a manifestation of whatever other disorder he has. He'd feign an unverifiable symptom like stomach pain (my childhood go-to illness to get out of school) as a ploy for parental attention, in the way he now uses back pain.

I don't think Phil has any real disorder. I think he feels bad, because he lives poorly and is essentially a shut-in. So in his mind that means he has "depression" and should get a free pass for his assholism. He does this with a lot of things in his life, where a bad thing happens to him, and he magnifies it to a point where it excuses his behavior/lack of effort. He's a lot like Uncle from RDR(2) where he just wants to sit around all day and complain about his imaginary diseases when forced to exert effort.

People telling Phil to drink. Phil says he can't drink because he will either die or end up in the hospital with alcohol poisoning.

This is the man who brought two handles of gin with him on a staycation. If you get to the point where you are drinking a gallon of hard liquor a week, a few beers is not going to hurt you. Unless his liver is failing due to alcohol abuse, in which case he probably shouldn't be drinking at all.

Sorry, but 'clinical depression was not treated by some 'cocktail of meds' nor 'thinking phasatively'. D$P is taking phrases from things KHET has told him or he read of the brochure he got after Panda had an event worthy of EMTs deciding she needed to go to the hospital.
D$P, has after this decided that 'his depression' could be used. His ego, however keeps him from Full Blown using it sort of .

Just delete everything I just typed as D$P just said everything on Tevin restream .....

D$P's throat may feel raspy after yelling for a day after his Annual Holiday WWE Sims stream, but swelling is not a symptoms of such activities.
https://symptomchecker.webmd.com/mu...at-tightness&symptomids=5|235&locations=10|10 many nights of 'chill streams'. Swollen? Swelling isn't realted to an over use of one's voice. Citation from WedMD :
Keep in mind that the internet is not a full replacement for a doctor and diagnosis. And Dave also don't know what's really going on. Maybe they're swollen, maybe they're sore, but after that wrestling night they are definitively overused. It was not just the yelling but the impersonation of, for example, Skeletor which was way out of his regular vocal range. Definitely overstretched, I can't say more without going :powerlevel:.
