After having played the latest even for Girl's Frontline I though I should make a thread in case people wanted to discuss the game in the future.
Been around longer than most gacha games, but for those who don't know...

Girl's Frontline is a chinese gacha game set in the near future where the world experiences armed conflict in eastern europe, a refuge crisis threatening
the stability of the continent, a rise in political extremism, AI singularity, and a conspiracy involving the highest levels of government and private interests
giving out a dangerous vaccine on behalf of a homicidal cult

It has turned based gameplay using 2D sprites, and a difficulty that ranges between easy to whatever hell this is
So why would I recommend it? Mostly because the story, characters, music, and art ranges from good to among the best in the genre.
The original chapters isn't much to boast about, but as the game got to its second or third major event it turned into a genuinely enjoyable
experience where you actually want to push forwards to see where the story takes you.
Plenty of memorable moments like one where a combat doll gets her arm torn off, then proceeds to use her severed arm as a cudgel as she crashes
through half a dozen walls as she pursues her foe in a moment of singular rage.

Did I mention how good the music is for its genre?
There's also a sequel being made using XCOM gameplay, but I'm not sure if I'm going to play it as they've changed the gameplay, style, and setting a bit
