Agree I noticed this too from one of the media pictures today- he was hospitalized because the arrest caused high blood pressure poor baby, well as they say if he can't stand the heat he should stay out the kitchen.

It's because he makes threats, incites violence, doxxes and goes too far with his harassment of people. Jo knows where to stop, he doesn't.

He doesn't go nearly as hard or "hold the line" as much as Kellie-Jay Keen, Julia Long or groups like For Women Scotland. The difference is he chimps out and gets emotional in public and on camera, while they keep any sign of weakness or upset entirely in their private lives and among people they trust, they don't put it out there for all to see and for troons to smell blood in the water.
It's a common lolcow trait, and he's been a lot better about doing it recently, but things like starting to record a video while crying instead of composing himself first (troons will always win in a crybullying contest so don't play their game), and his own account of "the red mist", is what really provokes troons to go for him because they think he's an easy target and they'll get some milk.

There's one where he put his camera on and started recording while still crying, to record a video defending his pal and TMWI co-host Arty Morty who'd been saying some loosely nonce-adjacent things and people had asked questions. If he had good points to make, it was lost in the overemotionality of it all, which always comes across as manipulative or unhinged, whoever's doing it. Like all lolcows he doesn't grasp boundaries between personal and public life. It's okay to cry and get therapy and do whatever else you need to sort things out when your life's going to shit (and the poor fella's definitely had a shit deal in his time) but you do that off the Internet.

There's a wider issue with the Police. Decades ago solicitors involved in civil cases developed a tactic of weaponising the police. Briefing their clients on how to make a police complaint in furtherance of a civil action. So say someone is involved in a row with a neighbour (and that somone has money for a solicitor) well then the solicitor would tell him to make a police complaint of harrassment, assault or whatever. Even if never went anywhere it would still help the civil case. They would brief on the key words and terms to use, and the police who essentially apply a flow chart to their decision making would go along, they might even be happy to do it, if it means they can record a positive outcome on the crime stats.

Then the charities such as 'tell mama' got involved and started briefing their 'clients' on how to game the police, then most recently the trannies and muslims (or rather the government funded charities figured it out).

The UK police have been like this since the 90's. They couldn't change even if they wanted to. It's made worse by the fact that the recruiting process is fucked, so CID and specialist units that actually matter to government, siphon all the smart coppers out of uniform leaving the plain clothes plod worse than ever.

This is interesting. I'm seeing some people on Twitter/Reddit/(not Bluesky) defending him, basically all saying variations of "I hate this guy, but you shouldn't be arrested for social media posts". The Cookdandbombd forum's thread on Graham even has a few people with similar thoughts and they all despise him to the point of not being able to laugh.

For the last 10 years teenagers in America have been getting locked up in maximum security federal prison for years over private jokes made in video game chats. And God forbid some kid makes a cringe "in minecraft" joke without a VPN.

The difference is it's not headline news when it happens in America. If you're lucky the kid gets mentioned on PKA or some other 10k view podcast.

Both countries are fucked and the sooner Americans stop larping and realize their liberties are under attack by the same people, the sooner we can both start unfucking it.
 
I’m so glad Rowling finally tweeted about him! The publicity has been huge. Even the ABC here in Australia reported it and usually they only do gushing reports about blokes finding their true selves by pretending to be women. Even my wife mentioned it and she has no interest in the issue usually.

I reckon the TRAs have really fucked themselves. Glinner may be a lolcow but he’s peaking the world getting himself arrested!

I kinda wonder if she realises now if they are arresting him like this will they come for her one day?

It doesn’t matter how rich you are or the barristers (top lawyers to the burgers), the process is the punishment.

Some guy in a dress with hurt feelings can have you arrested at gun point at an airport. If you live in the UK all your electronic devices seized, you could be stopped leaving the country for business.

This could be used against Rowling. The police have shown they’re stupid enough to go after someone with a high profile.

Hopefully she’ll start throwing money at him now.
