I can't rule it out and Rowling has stated she'd be willing to go to jail for similar, but the optics would be catastrophic for troons. Glinner's not the most sympathetic figure; he's a 6'3", divorced, middle-aged man who spends every waking hour getting into online slap fights and has become persona non grata in his industry. He is, of course, correct that the police continue to do the bidding of various vexatious litigants, including literal sex offenders.

Despite this, that stupid troon ex-cop has managed to get the BBC to read out Glinner's "punch trans-identified males in the balls" tweets on the News at 6 without instantly condemning them, before they cut to a different freak in a dress with nothing to contribute beyond "words bad". Left wing commentators like Owen Jones who despise Glinner are saying it's police overreach. Even the new leader of the Green Party, who was essentially elected on a pro-troon platform, implied Glinner should only have been arrested by two or three armed police instead of five.

Trying to do the same to a 5'4" woman in her 60s who was a victim of domestic violence in the past, is more restrained in her public statements while still being cutting, won't lose work like Glinner and has infinite money would go even worse. I'm more worried that one of them is going to 3D print a gun and try to shoot her but I'd imagine she takes precautions against such things.

I don't think I've seen anyone make an actual death threat towards him? It's mostly people ripping the piss because he threw his life away to become a full blown TERF. In an alternate universe where he kept his sanity and never became a TERF he would still be happily married and Father Ted the Musical would be sold out at theaters. But you know, he made his bed and has to lie in it. A racing car bed lol.

Turns out a 6'6 or whatever man bubbling on camera about trannies "taking everything" from him doesn't earn much respect.

We laugh at Linehan here because he's a terminally online potato goblin who has a long history of getting mad at the internet about practically everything, pushing people away by being an insufferable cunt that cannot help himself.

I wasn't expecting much from Sophia Brooks, a.k.a. Tarquin, but he was demolished by Sarah Vine KC. Today he admitted under oath that the spoof Police SEEN account (not to be confused with legitimate gender critical SEEN account @PoliceSeenUK) was owned by disgraced former policeman Lynsay Watson (Alex Horwood), who is believed to be responsible for the report that got Glinner arrested at Heathrow this week. Brooks has been in contact with Watson and it was revealed that Brooks was a volunteer police cadet at the time of the Battle of Ideas festival where Glinner is alleged to have thrown his phone.

Brooks "worked out where [Glinner's address] is from using publicly available pictures and google images" and was given his phone number by "an anonymous account which has since been deleted", which he passed to the police when he made his report.

Brooks admitted that he disguises himself in gender critical colours to attend their meetings in order to "provide information to bloggers". Brooks owned at least three Twitter sock accounts from which he accused people of being "nonces" and tweeted that he "really wish[ed] it was" acid that was thrown over Posie Parker. He said it was a joke when he told TERFs "you will pay" in a Twitter space, blatantly lied to the judge that he thought nobody would listen to it, then walked it back.

Remember, Brooks is the one bringing the claim of harrasment and criminal damage here.

Two journalists decided that the man claiming he felt "alarmed and distressed" over tweets being behind several Twitter accounts of his own, where he fantasized about acid attacks against women he disagreed with, was not worth writing about. Nothing on Brooks disguising himself to obtain information that TERFs would otherwise be unlikely to impart to him, the fact he was asked to leave the Battle of Ideas because he was displaying the exact behaviour Glinner is accusing him of, or how he obtained the private phone number of the person he claims is harassing him.
