Yeah, other than a bit of hornyposting on main I haven't seen any evidence this Gooseworx person is a lolcow or really deserves to be shat on. Seeing every thread about this show on /tv/ getting derailed with "But the creator is a tranny!!!" has been annoying.

I have been seeing the reaction images around and finally decided to give it a try. I enjoyed it a lot. It was charming and cute. The voice acting by the teeth guy feels a bit hammed in, and the writing is a bit clunky like Pomni & Ragatha where it was trying to go in one direction creating conflict, but then de-escalated it, then brought it back, then de-escalated again. Overall, for indie pilot, it was good.

I had never heard of Glitch or Gooseworx before watching this, and only looked them up after. I'm glad I didn't know anything, since I could view it unbiased by all the tranny shit. I hope it works out and doesn't get fucked by troonism or studio BS.

I would say if you can, put the troonshit out of your mind and just watch it with an open mind, you may enjoy it.

Actually, you know what? Why Vivziepop and not Joel G? The stuff he makes is more in line with the other animations/animators being featured, and it would've been a good place to announce the new ENA animation that just got announced.

Having spent some time watching Gooseworx's other stuff, Digital Circus is veery in line with what I saw. A lot of characters ending up behind the scenes, where they arent supposed to be, flying through voids suddenly etc. It makes me wonder how much more of that we'll see in the coming episodes since I've got no doubt they've greenlit the shit out of the show. Can't keep doing the same thing over and over... well you can, but it would get boring.

All in all I'm curious and want more.

Allow me to cut to the quick of what gametheory is gonna say, the whole meta is going to be that it's really happening and they're trapped in there and we're watching them be trapped thinking it's just a show

Zoomers and millenials love their shows having a mystery element for the sake of mystery so they can watch hours of hours of videos on YouTube theorising what is happening. I blame Adventure Time.

Finally got around to watching DS since the net won't shut up about it. I give it a B+. Interesting to see it was done in Unreal Engine, judging by the credits. Reminds me a lot of Reboot in a good way and I liked the character rigs. A thing that stands out to me is one one of the characters during the opening bit asking Caine if Pomni is 'one of his NPCs', so I'm expecting the standard slightly-insane-AI plot. We could get something more interesting with characters holding back info for some reason but I doubt it.

E: Also for consideration I present this asshole who hosts Mario Party 8 as possible inspiration for Caine. Same suit-and-eyes aesthetic, similar voice, similar accessory character to provide responses to his quips, same unexplained magical carnival/circus ringmaster role and event introductions/explanations.

I watched Murder Drones after the circus. I really like it. Though after going to the wiki, I now see I should stay away from the fanbase.
 
This may not be related to TADC, but it is somewhat Glitch related. So today, SMG4 released WOTFI 2023.

And they introduced a new villain character that was foreshadowed in multiple episodes before this.
