GLITCH Productions - From the guys that brought you the Super Mario 64 bloopers

I think Murder Drones did know what it wanted to be. Unfortunately that idea was to be mystery boxes and OP psychic bullshit.

From what I've heard there's been alot of changes behind the scenes mid production so to me it feels more like they're very indecisive on what they want to be. For instance apparently episode 2 was almost completely rewritten from the ground up among other things. I can't give evidence or citations for all of my alleged knowledge but I'm pretty sure during the GlitchX livestream while they were interviewing Liam he admits the show changed course a bit behind the scenes.

You can just re-read previous posts to get the idea but apparently even the show's format itself was going to be completely different at one point. If anything to me it explains the confusing ass lore that contradicts itself all the time. They can't seem to stick to a single vision. I sometimes ponder if they're even looking online at the theories people were having before and went out of their way to contradict them as much as possible just to subvert expectations. It's like Mass Effect 3 again where many of the viewer's theories made more fucking sense than the show itself. That's not a good sign.

Personally the psychic shit doesn't even bother me that much. I just wish the story made sense and was consistent.

I can believe that. I just wish they had kept to the style they used in that episode, since it was the least tonally confused episode of the series.

Yeah that's fair. Honestly, the show was passable for me up until episode 5. Episode 5 is still not only my least favorite but I feel like the turning point where everything went to shit and continues to get worse. But I suppose the mediocrity was slowly building up to that point.

The existential dread actually feels earned this time around, I enjoyed that. Pomni definitely didn't get enough time to let it sink in in the pilot and to see that the dread extends to the npcs as well was an interesting touch.

I was surprised actually that the NPCs are seemingly just as sentient and intelligent as Caine and Bubble. I thought Caine and Bubble were like the super AI or something and all the others were going to be... well, y'know like typical NPCs. So the fact that all the others are just as intelligent is definitely unexpected. At least it was for me.

Caine mentions at the beginning of the episode that he's "testing out a new AI", which implies the NPCs aren't usually capable of that level of sentience.

Interesting.
It's definitely establishing this for something else later I feel. At least I would hope it is.

Cane also mentions that he can't keep track of NPCs or actual beings built with the new AI when he kills croc gummi which makes me think that the NPCs may be copies of the humans.

It’s very funny to me how many people on Twitter turned on the bunny guy this episode for being “too mean”.
They spent six months drawing fan art and shipping him to the point where their headcanon of Jax is basically a different character. I think they literally forgot he's supposed to be an asshole. Need proof? This is Twitter's interpretation of Jax and Gangle's relationship:

That's Twitter for you. Honestly the same thing happened with Murder Drones. For instance J who so far has currently been an unrepentant self absorbed asshole and even attempted to kill N just because she merely smelled he was disagreeing with her mildly make her out to be this misunderstood softy. Or they make her a lesbian, because it's twitter. The weirdest shit I've seen is people shipping her with Tessa? (The human girl, yes that one.) Yes, you read that right.
Same shit with V where we're shown pretty clearly she's a sadistic psycho. But they always ignore that. To be fair though it seems like the writers did too considering how quickly she goes from absolute psycho to laying down her life for the emo goth girl robot.

I notice this is a phenomena in general where fandoms perpetuate a version of a character that's so incredibly far removed from the real thing you wonder why it exists in the first place. It's even more annoying when said character is a bad guy or something and you bring that up and they cry out as they shriek at you that you just don't get it and that they're actually just a misunderstood baby uwu. I fucking hate that shit. Part of why I don't interact with fandoms anymore. And the worst part is it's usually not even dumb kids doing these things, it's adults.

Personally though my theory is TrannyWorx is going to ruin the character somehow. My guess is it's going to be revealed he just acts the way he does as a coping mechanism. Push everyone else away so it hurts less when someone goes away. Honestly it'd be less predictable if it turned out he really was just an asshole. So I hope that's the truth.

Jaxx is definitely projecting some to cope with the whole “stuck in a computer and I will mutate into an abomination if I give up”, and I do think they’ll soften him up once we get the episode about his backstory…but I also think he’s still going to be a troll.

Trannyworx said on Tumblr that he isn't going to be some "Jerk with a heart of gold" and will be completely unredeemable and that we'll see why he's, and I quote "the one who deserves to be stuck in the Digital Circus the most" in the next few episodes.

Also apparently the plot for the whole series (or the season at least) has already been written out and there's nothing left to do but animate it, but we'll see, these Glitch niggers don't have a good track record at all with restraining themselves from altering the plot after the fact.

There's something that a lot of creators need to learn.
Once you make something for the public, you will get into drama.
No matter how hard you try to avoid it, it doesn't matter if you try to play it safe or if what you made is excellent.

There will always be someone to criticize your work.
You must learn to deal with that because if you don't, they'll eat you alive.

Honestly I am surprised how well the Amazing Digital Circus is being made. Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying it’s the best thing ever. It’s ok.

But let’s just say that after I learned who made this, I am surprised it has delivered on being a pastel colored horror show , and I am not being lectured on pronouns or “the messsge”.
