Finally GFE gets a thread. These guys are the epitome of internet activists who think using tumblr would make even the smallest difference in changing social issues while not actually doing any real activism to help achieve social justice causes. Twatslike them care more about their precious tumblr, fandoms, and hugboxes than they do about issues that affect real people living in the real world.

I've heard conflicting definitions of what "neuroqueer" actually means.

Fistarius told me at first that it means to "queer" into other "neurotypes" which translates from tumblrish into "I can turn on and off my autism". As you may have guessed, I wasn't too pleased with this.

Latinist says it just means that you're autistic and queer, which begs the questions, 1) who the fuck cares, 2) what does autism have to do with "queerness" and 3) why can't you just fucking say you're autistic and queer.

Of course being SJWs they blame everyone else for this discrepancy instead of addressing it themselves. It's kind of like how every SJW seems to have a different definition of Otherkin.

Also, "neuro" has nothing to do with autism. It has to be "atypical neuro" or something to mean autism.

Dammit, I knew something was familiar! The mod behind the 'neuroqueer nidoqueen' front, fistarnius, was the douchefuck behind that whole "calling something a disorder is ablest" thing I posted waaay back in the random tumblr posts thread.

Doesn't this effectively make every autistic person neuroqueer? Again, why make the distinction? Also, it's pretty funny that these people constantly act like "gender nonconforming" means that you have a totally new special snowflake gender identity. You're a tomboy/tomgirl, you are a crossdresser, whatever, get over yourself.

I mean it's pretty ironic because these are the same kind of people who bitched about Markiplier wearing a dress like a month or two ago.

Looking into it a little more, apparently not even most people who promote the word particularly understand what it means. The "official website" went over a fucking year without giving it a proper definition, instead opting to explain the concept in a bunch of extraordinarily confusing posts filled with queer theory bullshitting.

Here's what they seem to be getting at: Neuroqueer individuals are mentally ill individuals who subscribe to queer theory, whether to explain their mental illness or because they are also LGBT. The neuroqueer movement is essentially an attempt to assimilate mental illness advocacy into the LGBT community, despite the two being absolutely nothing alike, to support the agenda that mental illness is actually totally okay and society is at fault for oppressing their mental queerness.

why am I not surprised. This is pretty much what Fisty/Latinist reflected. I think Fisty has redacted his original definition upon realizing that he was getting serious shit for his description of it. It's hilarious too because these people will defend the fuck out of neuroqueer with their lives, to the point where they have openly stated that they will not respond to any messages denying its existence.
