How I Realized My Dragon Age: Inquisition Character is Gay

Some hours into Dragon Age: Inquisition, long after I'd made it out of the Hinterlands, I realized something that really surprised me. My character had taken on a life of his own, and it turns out he's gay.

dragon age is absolutely overrun with fags and troons. it’s a good game with fascinating lore.

but any online community you join you’re met with a barrage of content that cringingly forces fag ideology down your throat.

What is it about Dragon Age that makes it so damn appealing to the LGBTBBQWTF people? I never got into the series myself but I remember way back when the first couple or so games came out it was something that only nerds were into, but then all of a sudden the fandom got co-opted by faggots and trannies.

after Inquisition released Women and LGBToids got into it.

Inquisition really expanded on character depth and romance. there were characters made that were specifically Gay, and a Trans character was put into the game (the trans character wasn’t romanceable or even in the story much)

Krem is a FtM character part of a mercenary group that joins your cause. there is constant dialogue of them getting reaffirmed about being a man born in a woman’s body and they interjected about how the Qunari are accepting of them while the people on Thedas are not.



but the first two games while arguably still really good in terms of character depth and the romances weren’t on par with the writing that inquisition had.

there is also Dorian. a mage from Tevinter whom is gay. i will say that dorian is a really well written character. i like him a lot and he’s one of my faves. him being gay isn’t really his internal struggle tho. (ironically he has a bad relationship with his father tho lol) but he’s bearable bc the writing actually gave him depth aside from his sexuality. the fandom that champion Dorian are who is annoying.

D&D (and other tabletop games but D&D is the worst fan-wise)

Very fun game. Great way to exercise your creativity, but ever since motherfucking 5th edition and Critical Role it’s been plagued with Tumblrinas, furries and other degenerates, wokesters and theater kid faggots.

This is a game where gatekeeping is absolutely necessary. Stick with your own friends that play, or if you’re looking to play with a new group, stick with the ones who like 2e, AD&D or 3.5

Oh man, D&D has become a goldmine for that kind of shit. The only thing about D&D I find entertaining anymore are the stories of insane players and DMs you can find online.

Tumblr killed fandoms by ease of access, the most famous being Warhammer 40k. Never forget how infantilized the Death Korps of Krieg became when they learned they were zealous conscripts ready to die to atone for their betrayal- oh, wait, it's because there's a chance of a Guardsman being a broken 17 year old killing an Ork with a shovel. Anything that is difficult to learn or has a barrier to entry has a higher chance of being good. The barrier for 40k was lowered by bite-sized media avoiding the grimdarkness and focusing on memes.

For me, Lord of the Rings is the greatest example as a lot of its "fans" are people who A) only know the movies and B) only understand it in the shallowest fucking way. That Tolkien is also on the radar of SJWs just makes it worse.

The weirdest thing is I recall an episode of The Real Ghostbusters that actually predicted this phenomenon--"The Revenge of Murray the Mantis" has everyone being really into this obviously for-dumbass-kids show, with Peter Venkman being the only one who thinks its all stupid and childish. Rick and Morty and FromSoftware.

I found the first few series of Rick and Morty highly entertaining. The episode where Rick turns into a pickle was great, but then the fanbase got a hold of it and pickle rick became a meme for millennial boomers, and the whole "I have a high IQ" fanbase is insufferable. I've not watched the later series, but I'm told I'm not missing much anyway.


As for FromSoftware. Nobody knew who those guys were unless you were into to niche PlayStation games, and even then you likely knew them as "the Armored Core people". Then Dark Souls happened and FromSoftware died. ...Okay, they didn't die, but now they are just a Dark Souls factory and the instant they try anything even remotely out of the box the fanbase shits itself. Every past game, no matter it's merits, is now nothing but "how this game influence Dark Souls".

When did the Sonic fanbase get so compliant toward mediocrity?

After Sonic Adventure 2. Each game after it was bad, then the next game would be worse, and the previous game would be held up as "not that bad" until we get to 06 or Boom.

Like sure Sonic 06 obviously got fucked over by the crunch a bit but they removed features present in the demo build of the fucking game and overall the story's also kinda shit in concept, that combined with the goal of it being framed at the time of release as anew complete series reboot for "modern audiences" as if sonic games hadn't been coming out for years prior it's generally a shitshow of a game all around from like very god damn angle. I remember seeing a video essay thatimultaneously complained about adventure 1's plot being too confusing and haf assed in one breath while also complaining it wasn't complex enough and "why does eggman want the emeralds? That's too simple and dumb and played out" in the other breath.
Sa1 and Sa2 are plagued by shitty ports and even shittier current year "intellectuals" online blowing smoke up their own ass about how sonic was somehow never good in 3d but could be if 06 wasnt crushed by capitalism or some shit and it fucking bothers me in the same way people say shadow the hedgehog is worse than 06 gameplay wise. Shadow the hedgehog plays the same as sonic heroes but withut the team mechanic and though it's not a good game at least it's not a fucking broken bootleg final fantasy plot filled with beastiality overtones.

The hard truth is that Sonic games were that good to begin with. Gameplay wise was always kinda weak even in the 2d titles.

When you cherry pick the all time best stuff like in Sonic Generations you get something fun but other than that is consistently mediocre with a few highlights, just so happens to have an absolute brand loyalty from commited Sonic spergs. Is not just 06 but every Sonic game has a loyal fanbase of middle age men making defense video essays.

It's literally just standard bing bing wahoo but with more physics and a different life system gameplay wise I'd say that's pretty solid and hard to fuck up. Sonic 4 episode 1 is a really rare but good example of what happens when they fuck up and it's still playable despite being weak. I kinda wonder how the timeline would play out and how fucked the fanbase would be if Eggman ended up being the protagonist like come early concept art showed him as before they decided on Sonic as being the protagonist.

IIRC they had an idea of the gameplay they wanted before sonic was chosen. The early eggman concept designs show some examples of movement with him falling/sliding around. There was also fucking feels the rabbit and mighty the armadillo as preliminary sonic protagonist designs before they settled on sonic. Sonic was clearly the best choice in terms of marketing but I do wonder how the games would have differed if the others were chosen. Mighty would probably play the same more or less but shit feels and eggman would probably turn out completely different. Weirdest development trivia to me is the fact that they were initially gonna work eggman back in as a minor enemy in a bee costume of all things before deciding to scrap the weird demon lord guy as the bad guy and make it just eggman as sonic's villain/rival. That's why there's that one weird concept art that would sometimes show up inmerch or bootleg shit where he had the bee suit.
