Fuck that shit
But seriously, just act like everyone you're talking to is your mother.

Mexican Spanish is weird. The word "pinche", meaning "scullion", refers to the servant with the most menial task in the kitchen. Yet it's treated strongly in Mexican media. If a Mexican tourist ever gone to Spain, they would giggle at resturaunts named "pinche".

My mother is the same way and she's never heard me swear, despite me having a fucking foul mouth. Maybe it's different in Germany but only trashy people swear in front of their mother.

I try to avoid it although I'm an American of the southern variety. It wouldn't bother her too much except for the religious stuff, like goddamn it and Jesus Christ, but I like to be respectful. No, the ones I'd REALLY watch my tongue around were her parents. They were great, hardworking people and were not keen on swearing. I hold my tongue especially when dealing with people who remind me of them, but my default is not to swear in public at all.

You could try what my grandmother used to do. She never swore, but used cute swears... and when really mad she would spell out such egregious words like “HELL”. She’d say “H... E... double hockey sticks”. Still makes me smile when I think about it.

Pretend it's the late 1800s and your family is going to disown you for being such a crass, uncivilized young woman, unworthy of a proper husband and condemned to a life of degeneracy

Most of the time, it's at work and I just mumble it under my breath. I'm usually alone in the stockroom, and I feel more comfortable since one of the managers in the backstock area (who's also kind of an asshole) sometimes mumbles a swear or two under her breath when shit is going weird.

My best friend and I don't swear because it was heavily policed at school, and we weren't really big on it anyway. People sometimes make fun of us because of it. We mostly just say "gosh dang", "hECK", "hecky", "frick", "dang it", and "gosh dang it".

Look here's the thing if swearing helps you get your point across then DO IT but if your just doing it because you think you're cool then you are a dumbass
