He sheer autism and incredible naivety allows him to remain optimistic in all of a life of embarrassing failures and hilarious fuck ups, He’s a weird symbol of optimism for many to be so confident despite his unbelievably bad life.
 
That despite everything, he still managed to achieve his goal in a way; He became famous, though not for the reasons he wanted, and seems content with his life even after everything that's happened within the last 15 years.

He certainly will be remembered long after he leaves his mortal coil.
 
Without Chris-chan, the idea of lolcow culture wouldn't be as well known as it is today.
