Goodbye Volcano High - "The Future of Gaming", The Parody Game of the Beloved Snoot Game Franchise

Being non-binary is just a symptom of the greater underlying problems surrounding Fang but to imply that someone's gender identity is something that can be warped by outside influences undermines their worldview.
I took it that it was also a null solution to her problems that she was trying to use to regain some control over her life and her appearance to others. It's why Anon being a rock she can base herself on leads to her shedding this crafted identity and why Anon coming in and trying to control her like everyone else before has causes her to recede deeper. It has nothing to do with 'gender identity', the point is the nonbinary stuff isn't real to begin with.
I also always thought that people misinterpret Trish as being evil. She's vindictive, highly emotional, and a control freak. But from her perspective everything she is doing is to the genuine benefit of her friends. She's a good mirror to Naomi, where Trish is comparatively much more childish and immature, she doesn't recognize how controlling she is, despite her intentions being good. (give me trish romance fanfic i can fix her i can fix her i can fix her)

And in Fang's case (and in pretty much every single IRL case of someone identifying as nonbinary or trans), disassociating from her birth sex was a maladaptive coping mechanism for the shit going on in her life.

Trying to "fix" Fang only made things worse, and actually supporting Fang, she drops the nonbinary LARP on her own without being asked to. I'd argue this is the case even in E3. While Lucy is still miserable and doesn't understand why, she still has a significantly better chance at figuring herself out and finding happiness than the nonbinary Fang in E2 on the road to self-destruction.

Sounds like a fangame that got the devs' blessing, And I assume it's a last chance recovery from ending 1.
Seeing these last few seconds, it sounds like these fandevs are planning to make an extension to every ending. Probably.

Just turn Bonds (a post-ending 3 fanfic) into a proper VN and i would actually pay money for it.

So then, what about trans people who aren't sitting their asses on Twitter or bluesky and are fairly fine with their life choices?

I mean, it's obvious she's miserable because it's no different from when she was Fang, she just traded one personality that doesn't work, for a trad wife personality that clearly also doesn't work. There no real way of "figuring herself out" or "finding happiness" when you pull the same lie bs, just under a different wrapper.

I'd argue that E3's intentions were to be less about identity and more about overcorrection and the consequences thereof. She overzealously cut people and places out of her life, ironically losing a part of herself in the process. It's most certainly a better ending than E2 and the ending artwork with the wedding points in the direction that the ending is more about future optimism now that she can stop dwelling on the past so much. Wani's is similarly bittersweet, with some baggage left behind but the core conflict of the story resolved.

Don't forget that part of E4 is that everybody wins. Presumably E3 leaves Reed and Trish out to deteriorate like in E2. Also mirrored with Ben in Wani.

The issue with Trish and that you don't see her perspective until you read the side story (same with Naomi) and honestly I don't think it does a good job at justifying either of their actions, but unlike Naomi who you don't need to forgive you *have* to forgive Trish for E4 which is insane.

E3 of both Wani and Snoot are the most "realistic" good endings. It's not realistic to expect the core issues to be resolved within 12th grade, but unlike E1 and E2, it still leaves the door open for a happy ending, when Olivia and Lucy have someone in their life they can count on.

Which never happens and faggots keep seething about it. But then again, some idiots here believe that ending 3 to Snoot and Wani are "good ones".
E3 of snoot is debatable and more bittersweet, but Wani's E3 ends pretty stable in spite of things not even being close to perfect, but since VN endings rarely have neutral ones its pretty standard and reasonable to call them "good" when you compare them to doomer\school shooter fang, or uber crippled\dead end marriage Olivia

When compared to those two endings, sure, but it's own it's still a very fucked up level off "oh, you're life is still fucked but yaz trying to pretend it's not." Maybe NOT as terrible, but theres stil that sensation of "damn, at some point this shit is gonna blow like a dynamite factory"

i took a different interpretation that its Olivia being unable to immediately come to terms with herself but still taking to root the lessons she learned over her highschool years, that one scene where she sees the acrobats who have not-azula really makes it kinda cut and dry that she is supposed to learn something about how to recieve the torch when it comes to Idakahn's passing. I havent played in a while but i still maintain that while not entirely positive, its not overwhelmingly negative since she has some amount of comfort and safety in Inco, and he grew to not be how he is in E2 and E1

The dynamite factory blowing up is seen in E2, so i doubt they would imply things are just fucked either way with an imperfect resolution of Olivia's issues

Has anyone mentioned that one Wani mod, Rebirth and Recovery? A story that takes place after E3, it also has four endings of its own?

I personally haven't played it yet.

I've been meaning to play it, I played through Who Drank The Purple Stuff (Anon in Wani) which was written by the same guy and that was good so chances are that Rebirth and Recovery will be too.
