Gorl World + Haydur Nation reaction channel discussion - Come sperg about the Reactmosphere, right here

I'm not up the Breezy shit because I can't stand her voice, so I guess I'm missing out on good lolcow milk. lol

NAL is temporary entertainment until Chantal gets her shit together and gives us something to laugh about. NAL is scary. Willo does a nice short update and even though she annoys me, Carrie (bored housewife) streams real time excitement of NAL in the bathtub all day if you are bored and want to see the entire segment of the day's bullshit.
Jessica is too much but maybe I should give her another chance?

Like the rest of us, I think FFG is totally sick of the Kuwait arc and so she's off playing games. Retro reacts still make her money though, but you can tell she isn't that interested

We'll see if Yaba's oldest kid gets kicked out the minute he turns 18. Yaba always says they are out and have to support themselves. Sure Jan. Most parents give their kids time, but I think she gives a lot of lip service about it, trying to make people think she is some 'I'm gonna teach them to be self reliant" or some such shit. The story will change when the time comes
I really think Carrie the bored housewife really needs her own thread as she has become just as much a lolcow that Shanny or NAL is. Only problem is that I don't know how to go about starting a thread. If anyone could help out with this it would be greatly appreciated.

Chantal is currently live completely losing her shit over FFG, who is live too and started sniping her immediately, 5k people watching her, compared to 500 in Chantal's live. The stupidity of that woman never ceases to amaze me. She's shoveling money in FFG's direction, at the most convenient time.
If I’m interpreting playboard correctly, this is already FFG’s fifth highest superchatted video of all time. Over $1,500 for a few hours of laughing at Chantal and she’s still going. FFG may be a cow, but she is a crafty one. I’ll give her that.

Jesus. When did yaba become so not fun.
Why does she keep using that phrase “bow down”

She has used it like 2-3 times in the last two weeks.

Sam must make her feel really inferior while handing over the cash to harp on about who is bowing down to who lately.

It’s also extra comical because she’s sucking off tragic in the bogayduh while his twitter name is literally “bow2tragic” lmao View attachment 6054462

Wait, she's calling... this thread grifters? I'm ESL and even I'm embarrassed for her, wow.

Continuing the FFG "master post" series. For previous installments, see FFG's maternal family (post); FFG's paternal side, including father (post).

I operate with a working hypothesis that FFG's narratives about her background follow from an attempt to claim (exclusive/exclusionary) insight into Chantal Sarault/Foodie Beauty.

I maintain that hypothesis -- this time, with respect to FFG's (late) mother, Carol Feldman. As always, feel free to correct my missteps (NB: This offer extends to FFG, as always).

Since we're dealing with Canadians, I'd like to make a Canadian reference: "I approach this love/ like a biologist/ pulling on my rubber gloves .... Please die I said/ so I can write about it" (Margaret Atwood, "Their attitudes differ," Power Politics, 1971). It's possible the bits in between clarify my position, ha ha.

I also apologize in advance for the overalap between this post and previous posts, most of which is unavoidable.

1. Background

Carol Feldman was born December 25, 1948 (link | archive):

2024_04_13_A_Mom tribute.png 2024_04_13_B_Comments.png

As with her father, FFG’s mother has two conflicting backgrounds. In this case, the conflicting backgrounds determine Carol’s Canadian citizenship status (i.e., naturalized or birthright).

As before, I proceed with the idea that FFG’s narratives about her life shift to position herself as an authority on a given topic.

When FFG needs to have insight into Egyptian culture, her father becomes an Egyptian Greek (otherwise, just Greek) or (to be discussed later) when she needs to have insight into Syrian culture, she introduces the (alleged) fact that her (alleged) partner is Syrian.

Carol’s citizenship status (and therefore FFG’s claims of being an immigrant) relate to 2 issues: (1) Chantal’s perceived “anti-immigrant” statement (see "Cuba Rage"), (2) (now former friend) Shannon’s husband’s approval of anti-immigrant statements on Facebook. The conflicts themselves are not relevant here (though will be discussed in a future post), only the claim that FFG is an immigrant.

In this case, however, the narrative conflict doesn’t follow exclusively from FFG. Rather, the narrative conflict follows from statements made by FFG and by her brother Chris.

I proceed with the claim that Carol is not a Canadian immigrant (and therefore FFG is not a Canadian immigrant – she simply happened to be born on foreign soil). I will, however, consider both claims.

2a. Naturalized Canadian

In the first narrative, a long-standing talking point in the FFG lore: FFG’s mother is a Canadian immigrant. In a July 19 2021 tweet, for instance, FFG claims that her mother was raised in Chicago (@True native,, post):

2021_07_19_Response to Froggy RE background.jpeg

As discussed in the “Harry Feldman” post, this statement RE: Chicago conflicts with statements made by FFG concerning her maternal grandfather. Attempts to reconcile FFG’s statements with the known facts concerning Harry and Adele Feldman failed.

Having said that, if we abstract away from FFG’s claims RE: descent from Montreal’s “Jewish Mafia,” a rough timeline can be established concerning Carol’s background (per this (attempted (half-assed)) narrative, anyway):

FFG’s maternal grandfather travels from NY (possibly by way of Montreal) to Chicago
FFG’s maternal grandfather marries FFG’s maternal grandmother, presumably in the late 1940s.
Carol is born (presumably) in Chicago in 1948 and raised there.
FFG’s maternal grandparents have (at least) 1 additional child, a daughter.
At some point, the Feldmans immigrate to Montreal.

Further point: My beloved, long-suffering first reader pointed out that the tweet says Carol was “raised” in Chicago, not necessarily born in Chicago. It is therefore conceivable Carol was born elsewhere (say, Montreal) and raised in Chicago before eventually settling in Montreal. Regardless, this analysis presents 2 problems: (1) Carol would have Candadian birthright citizenship, (2) FFG has claimed her mother and grandmother (and grandmother’s family) are “from” Chicago.

Little is known about Carol’s sister. FFG has referenced her as “my mother’s sister,” indicating another fraught relationship. FFG describes forced visits to the aunt’s home where the aunt would drink and listen to Nat King Cole’s “Unforgettable” repeatedly. The aunt would seem to be a deeply depressed individual.

It is unknown whether the “mother’s sister” is older or younger than Carol. Likewise, it is unknown whether the aunt is alive as of Carol’s passing. If so, it is unknown why she is (as far as I know) unmentioned in relation to Carol's death, whether survivor or preceding dead.

(One troubling aspect of Carol’s illness and death is how little mention there is of family concern/involvement, apart from FFG and to a lesser extent Chris, at least in FFG’s telling. -- a contrst with Chris's narrative will be addressed in a future post).

When Carol and her sister (not to mention her parents), per this narrative, immigrated to Canada is unknown. Given that they all ended up in Canada would suggest some point prior to Carol’s becoming an adult – perhaps adolescence at the latest. Were Carol an adult upon immigrating, it’s not necessarily clear why her father, mother, and sister would also elect to immigrate to Canada rather than remain in the US.

Likewise, Carol’s remaining in Canada rather than returning to the US after her return from Greece in the mid-1980s suggests Carol is a naturalized citizen of Canada (as are the rest of the family).

Given this narrative, FFG would have likely qualified for birthright citizenship per the Citizenship Act, 1976 (RSC 1985, c. C-29), which confers Canadian citizenship on a child born outside of Canada if one of the parents is Canadian (link). This revised previous legislation which required the Canadian parent to be the father (unless the child was born out of wedlock).

2b. Birthright Citizenship

As discussed in a previous post, FFG’s brother has claimed their maternal grandparents were “born in Montreal” (NB: while he does not explicitly claim he’s referring to their maternal grandparents, this is the only scenario that makes sense ( link | archive)):

Screen Shot 2024-05-26 at 7.01.05 PM.png

In this scenario, Carol – whether herself born in Montreal/Canada or in Chicago – automatically qualifies for Canadian citizenship per the Canadian Citizenship Act, 1946, given that her father is a Canadian citizen (link).

While this doesn’t preclude the possibility of Carol (and her sister?) having been born and raised in Chicago – perhaps the grandparents lived in Chicago for some time – it does cast doubt on FFG’s claim. This is turn raises the question of why she would manufacture such a story?

I have proposed that FFG designs her stories to fill a vacuum, to present herself as an authority, to permit her to speak on a topic, or to establish a relationship that might not otherwise exist. As discussed, when she had no obvious relationship with Nader El Shammy, she introduces the claim that her (Egyptian-born) father and her MENA ex either knew him personally or knew of him through mutual connections (to be discussed), which gave her a unique perspective (even if fraudulent) relative to other reactors.

It would therefore be worth considering FFG’s background with Froggy (i.e.,the person to whom she claimed her mother was from Chicago; see above tweet) and whether that explains FFG attempting to connect herself with the US. This will be considered in a future post.

Regardless of narrative concerning Carol’s background – though I think the evidence favors birthright citizenship – Carol, and therefore FFG, are not Canadian immigrants.

3. In Greece

FFG claims that her mother moved to Greece and lived there for 10 years. In my previous post, I proposed that Carol met FFG’s father George (i.e., FFG's father( while the two were in Canada, the two married (either in Canada or later in Greece), and moved to Greece for 10 years, before settling in Montreal after FFG’s birth (and likely before Chris’s birth). In this section, I consider FFG’s claims about her mother’s time in Greece.

2024_01_26_Mama Feldman.jpg

While there, FFG claims that Carol became fluent in Greek. Carol would frequent a “bar in Athens… like a coffee shop-, bar-type place called The Plum Pudding, because it was where all the Brits were.”

I have found no evidence of this tavern/café, which is not to say it did not exist.

FFG goes on to say “they’re not Canadian, but they spoke English…. Yeah, of course my mom had like Greek friends there too, but that was her core group. Those were like her real fucking friends in Greece.”

The above claims raise some interesting issues.

Given Carol’s age, she most likely did not become fluent in Greek.

Evidence for this comes from a stream in which FFG recounts a story concerning her birth in which Carol allegedly received a “husband stitch” from the doctor. Due to a “language barrier,” Carol decides to respond to the doctor by “lunging” at him. It’s unclear why there would be a language barrier were she fluent, particularly as the doctor was likely not speaking to her using complex jargon. This would also raise the question of how Carol had been communicating with medical staff during her pregnancy.

NB: Per the State Department Greek is categorized as a Category III language for native English speakers, which honestly surprised me (link). This places Greek on par with Georgian and Turkish, 2 notoriously challenging languages for English speakers. Thanks to my first reader and their love of government literature!

Given Carol's “real fucking friends” being English ex-patriots, it’s unlikely she developed many deep personal relationships with the Greek population (not terribly surprising, given Greece’s view of outsiders and particularly Jews, an attitude perhaps more pointed in the 1970s). Apart from FFG’s father, of course.

Finally, it’s interesting that FFG distinguishes her mother as Canadian rather than American, further suggesting that Carol was a citizen of Canada (whether by naturalization or birth) prior to her move to Greece. I will therefore proceed with the claim that Carol’s having been raised in Chicago refers exclusively to childhood, assuming the claim has any legitimacy.

FFG remarks of her mother’s and father’s cross-global moves, “A lot of people in this world get up and go and live on the other side of the world and walk away from the family…. I’m the product of 2 people who did that.”

Purely speculative, but this statement suggests Carol and George experienced (perhaps initiated) estrangement from their families (i.e., “cleaved unto one flesh”). Carol perhaps “walked away” from her family in Canada to be with George. George perhaps “walked away” from his family in Greece to be with Carol in Canada (as previously discussed, however, George also has family in Canada).

By January-February 1984, Carol is 36 and pregnant with FFG. Anne-Marie Feldman is born November 1, 1984.

As to why neither Carol nor her children took George’s surname, I will consider 2 possibilities – (1) name change laws in Quebec, (2) name change laws in Greece – and their consequences.

Were Carol and George married in Quebec, she was not necessarily obligated to take her husband’s surname (assuming she wanted to). By 1976, she did not necessarily have the option (link).

In Greece in 1983 (i.e., one year before FFG was born), marriage laws were radically changed with the wife required to keep her maiden name. Children born from the union could have either parent’s surname or a hyphenated blend of the two (see source below, p. 57).

Tsaoussis-Hatzis, Aspasia. 2000. The Greek divorce law reform of 1983 and its impact on homemakers: A social and economic analysis. Volume 1. Chicago, IL: The University of Chicago dissertation. Link

Therefore, it’s not surprising FFG has her mother’s name, apart from patriarchal traditions regarding the father’s surname. If anything, it’s surprising Chris – the firstborn (and only) son – also has the mother’s surname.

Alternatively, of course, they were never married. This would of course be surprising for the time -- the proud parents of two bastards and all.

4. In Montreal

That the family elected to settle in Montreal is also an interesting point. FFG regularly describes English as her first language, with the implication being that she had minimal initial exposure to Greek or certainly (Quebecois) French.

SURPRISE! Gorl Gang Session
June 10, 2021
(timestamp | 00:22:35 – 00:23:19)

This would make sense if Carol had moved to Quebec at a time in which French was not mandatory (pre-1974 or had been born there) and left during the transitional period without pursuing lessons. To what extent either parent is/was fluent in Quebecois French is unknown. This issue is pointed at as to what "inter-language" the two would have in their Montreal home: English, Greek, Q. French?

NB: The following points will be more fully developed in future posts.

FFG has described her mother as a housewife.

FFG has claimed that her mother was an indica enthusiast, like herself and her brother. NB: In the preceding discussion in the clip cited below, FFG insinuates that this may be related to anxiety (unclear if she’s referring to herself alone, her brother, and/or her mother).

5. Cancer, Death

In late April 2023, Carol is diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Chris claims to become her primary caretaker in the following Reddit post (link | archive):

As noted above, Carol dies on September 16, 2023, on Rosh Hashana, approximately 5 months following her diagnosis.

In a future post, I will discuss FFG’s narrative surrounding her mother’s passing. I will also discuss the way FFG introduces her Jewish identity (i.e., in response to claims she’s antisemitic) and how she further discusses it (near exclusively in terms of food, particularly offal).

ETA: As always, thanks to all the Farmers (I did a piss-poor job of thanks this time) and particualrly @Grilled Cheese Combo for the info! Peanut is live right now and is particularly wrong in a way I don’t think I’ve heard her be before. And she admitted she’s going to delete the live after she’s done, so I figured I’d cover it here. I hate to be all “you’re not a mom so you don’t know” about it, but my god. She’s covering yaba talking about various, perfectly normal kid things and pretending like they’re indicia of yaba being a bad parent. There’s so many things we could discuss about yaba and her parenting and yet peanut is obsessing over the following non-events:

1. The kids don’t like the clothes their mother buys for them. Imagine being a 14 year old boy (WITHOUT A FATHER) and having your 40 year old mother buying your clothes for you. We’ve seen Sam and yaba’s “taste.” I’d rebel too, and I’m not a teenage boy. A child not liking their mother’s clothing choices doesn’t make a bad mom.

2. The two boys don’t get along with each other. They’re TWO YEARS APART. Has anyone been a teenager before with a slightly closely-aged sibling? That shit isn’t fun. That has almost nothing to do with yaba.

Peanut, you had so much content to cover and yet you go after this. Not a good look. You’re stretching in a way deathfats could only dream of.

Do you see the drop in subscribers again, Sam?! OUCHIE!
Of the 1000 subs she lost, she managed to gain 50 back, but has lost all but 10 of them again. Bodega love!

Regarding French Fried Bodega, two things have always stuck in my craw - her claims of a restraining order against the ex for domestic violence, for which she has never shown evidence, and her claims to Judaism, for which her only proof has been a blurry pic of box of Streit's Matzo Ball Mix.

Feldman is a traditionally Jewish name of course, and her grandfather was Jewish. But Jewishness is conferred matrilineally. Is there any evidence Carol's mother was?

There has never been any talk of the common Jewish experience, like being the one to ask the four questions, searching for the Afikoman, being Bar/Bat Mitzvah'd, performing Aliyah, and the significance of 18. The words, the phrases, the bubbies, the gelt - dayenu! Wherefor art they? Did she experience nothing of her mother's alleged heritage?

Her constant use of the muh antisemitism shield is extraordinarily cynical, obnoxious, and hollow.

So let's talk about those points (preview, I suppose, of future posts, ha ha):

One, there will never be another mention of the alleged restraining order (prove me wrong, Feldman!), because the abuse narrative is no longer relevant. Whether Mourad was abusive, I can't stay -- it is, however, interesting that the mention ceased once FFG moved on. Likewise once "Mr. FFG" served his purpose (i.e., FFG SEX like CHANTAL!), he evaporates. Unless FFG needs to remind the audience her hips yaw and cur.

RE: Judaism, so long as Carol Feldman is a Jewess, FFG is a Jewess. So let's hope Carol is a Jewess.

Working on some stuff for a future post, but FFG openly acknowledges her nominal connection to the faith/identity (e.g., no bat mitzvah, bc secular family -- okay) She has tattoos. She eats shellfish.

What's interesting (to me) -- and sorry for no receipts (they're coming) -- is how... nominal her connection is. When FFG needs to be a Jew, suddenly Carol becomes a repertory player in Fiddler on the Roof, devotee of and dispensary of offal, potato pancakes, etc. FFG even lapses into Broadway-style Jew upon reflection (something like Mr. Kitzel, for the 1930s radio enthusiasts out there -- you know who you are).

Which is not to say she couldn't have been before, but FFG describes taking her mother post-chemo to eat offal, which... I doubt (for several reasons, mostly involving vomit). As with all her identities, it comes down to food and (possibly (night)) vomit.

FFG is grasping at an identity to distinguish herself from other reactors, familiar but "exotic enough." White, but not too white. Brown, but not too brown (Black is unavailable, and has already been taken). Wordly, but not too off-putting. Had she taken up even a mild dose of Greek Orthodoxy, she'd be out of the running. I'm convinced even the side pony was stolen from an episode of Degrassi.

Tin foil: FFG studied the reaction community, constructed a persona, and is now stuck with it. For further proof, wait for my old bones to line up everything in a future post, ha ha.

ETA: FFG's claims of the surname Feldman do not entail she is a Jewess. Still... Feldman. In the absence of evidence of blood libel, I presume with the assumption FFG is linearly Jewish. Tidied up some grammar, possibly made things worse, ha ha.

ETA2: @StrawberryDouche, I can't settle your doubts there, as FFG's history rests on (1) Feldman is a stereotypically Jewish surname therefore FFG is Jewish (therefore, not white supremacist -- GO PANATHINAIKOS!); (2) a box of instant-Matzo ball mix. God willing, there will be a very old cat in Tel Aviv in need of rescue, currently in the possession of a large woman, whom FFG can secure (the cat, not the woman), -- although now I've confused myself as to whether the owner should be Palestinian. Prorities: (1) save the cat, (2) mock FFG --> peace prevails, somehow.

ETA3: I also realized I haven't answered your fundamental question, and I apologize (however much fun I had answering the questions I invented). In short, Feldman is a convenient cudgel. Were this a different thread, I think you'd find FFG conveniently enough found herself the daughter of Carol X. or Carol Sarault.

RE: Judaism, so long as Carol Feldman is a Jewess, FFG is a Jewess.
Right, but what I want to know is, was Carol's mother Jewish?

I have no problem with someone being nominally any faith. The issue comes when it is used as shield or bludgeon, especially at a time when hostages are being held, raped, tortured, and murdered. It's particularly grotesque on her part - as if she weren't grotesque enough already.

FFG has totally owned Chantal and the haydurs by posting an old photo of her mother to prove she was fuckable after Chantal said in her live that FFG’s dad probably put a bag on her mom’s head to procreate (or something to that effect):
IMG_1871.jpeg

FFG is willing to put her dead mother on display to own Chantal, but can’t prove that BBJ is alive to own Chantal? I know I’d spare having my mom plastered on the internet and sacrifice the Twitter likes. She also can’t manage say anything about her peer Corie’s continued friendship with someone she claims to loathe to shut up her detractors. The smart move here really would be for FFG to tweet something like: can’t say anything about the bodega situation at present, I bought a certain tumbler once upon a time *wink*

Yeah, it's one thing to post a photo of your mom, because you want to show how beautiful she was.
It's another thing to post a photo of your mom to prove to another morbidly obese Canadian that your dad didn't have to put a bag on her before conceiving you.

I tried to come up with similar two scenarios for posting your kids' birth certificates, but I failed.

I will say though that after eggs' excellent summary of Sam's life, which was entertaining mostly for the number of scams and general shadiness, I find FFG's family history genuinely interesting, even when compensating for all her embellishments.

ETA: A really petty thing, but I'm listening to Yo Mama who just made a dramatic pause when FFG said she lived alone. And I saw Haydur Tater making the same point on Twitter a few days ago. During the time I used to listen to FFG regularly, she always said she lived alone. It's not a new thing and it's not a gotcha. And I would expect particularly HT, who must be an expert at this point, to know that. My guess is that FFG had a partner, but they broke up at some point and she didn't announce it. It's embarrassing that this "where's your man" retaliation is no longer just a parody of Chantal, but an unironic point people make. If Salah doesn't want to be made fun of, maybe he should stay offline - something that was promised, but lasted only a few weeks.
