GPUs & CPUs & Enthusiast hardware: Questions, Discussion and fanboy slap-fights - Nvidia & AMD & Intel - Separe but Equal. Intel rides in the back of the bus.

I think it's "cyberpunk" af to be taking all of these dead and broken GPUs, reviving them, and giving them more VRAM. I wish everywhere had more of a scene like that.
the problem with the black market is that they snip out functioning gpu's.
the IP/cuckright shit is gay and i couldn't give a single shit but it's basically GPU Clipping, especially when you look at the prices.

nvidia/amd has some gay cuckright shit where you can't mod your GPU, hardly repair it if you find the memory modules 4sale from alibaba, it's ultra fucking retarded.

Might as well ask here since I don't have much interest on it as I'm been playing 2D games lately.
I have a RTX 2070, I'm been eying the Sapphire PULSE RX 9070 XT, right now is only 80€ over retail,, should I dip?
Don't really have much use for it right now, but GPUs don't seem to be getting any better other than the software side, so I have no idea. I just have the money and that's it.

They're supposed to start dropping in price in a couple of months. But if that ends up being true is another story. They're supposed to be 600€ right? So I guess 12% over MSRP is almost acceptable. Then again the Pulse is the most barebones budget version of the 9070 XT.

Since you said you have nothing to use it for I'd just hold off and see if the price decrease ends up being true.

I went from an rx 590 to a 3060 and it felt like i wasted my money. really mostly because jumping from low to high settings in modern game engines doesn't actually make games look any better if anything it just makes them more visually confusing. when you run them at 60+ fps it just makes the weird anti-aliasing hacks they're using really jarring because temporal antialiasing only works at low framerates
