Is the the pinnacle of KiwiFarms?

How does this get any better?
An open felony rape trial with all sorts of gnarly details and insights into Chris’s life, maybe a courtroom outburst or two. All leading up to Chris getting sentenced to some real prison time.

Honestly this is the best series finale you could write. Chris getting released would quickly become as boring and as repetitive as any other chapter after a few months. At least we’ll get a big crescendo with lasting consequences.

And a nice after credits scene involving a homeless saga after his release.

If it does go to a proper criminal trial, yes, there is a distinct possibility that she could be compelled to testify, or at least provide a deposition.

But seeing as she can't even appear for an arraignment on a speeding ticket, who fucking knows.

Head Jurror: "Can we charge this ugly bitch, instead?"

Holy shit, are we really getting the trial of the century?
Not certain yet. Any felony case has to go before the grand jury, and there's always a chance the grand jury could say there's insufficient evidence for a case but in general they act as a rubber stamp since prosecutors generally know when a case is weak enough to not get past the grand jury.

After the grand jury Chris could still get a plea deal.

I have no idea how tf the US legal system works but don't a bunch of continuance mean they didn't manage to have Chris accept the deal?
I'm sure @Pointless Sperg will have better information, but the continuances that have lead to this point seem to mean they were holding him on one charge while the prosecution worked out some things and decided they wanted to at least upgrade one count to a felony or add felony charges. Now, the Grand Jury has to decide if they agree with the prosecutor that there's enough evidence to send each count to trial. From there, the prosecutor and Chris's legal team can negotiate a plea deal that prevents it from going to trial.

I’m retarded and don’t know anything about the court system but is there a possibility they offered him a plea deal to avoid trial and that retard said no
If the prosecution is moving forward with felony charges, which bringing it to a Grand Jury would imply if true, then it is almost certain there was some deal offered which Chris almost certainly refused. Reasonable conjecture is any deal would have barred him from Barb, 14bc, and possibly forced him to register as a sex offender. None of this would have been palatable to the Godess Christine. Who wants to go home NOW NOW NOWwwww!

This is of course pure speculation. But it’s hard to imagine it going any other way, save perhaps with more courtroom sperg outs.
