What happens if the grand jury says there's insufficient evidence for a case? Would he be freed?Not certain yet. Any felony case has to go before the grand jury, and there's always a chance the grand jury could say there's insufficient evidence for a case but in general they act as a rubber stamp since prosecutors generally know when a case is weak enough to not get past the grand jury.
After the grand jury Chris could still get a plea deal.
