Knowing that Chris probably won't plea out, he's going to fuck over at least 12 people out of their wages. Thank God the jury is only addressing guilt and not recommending sentencing.
In felony (and misdemeanor 1) cases in Virginia, the jury that decides guilt decides the sentence as well. Va. Code § 19.2-295.1 (barring limited circumstances described in statute or rule).

Question for the legal Kiwis: When does a judge get assigned to a case like this, and do criminal and civil cases pull from separate pools or is a judge a judge? Just asking because I would die laughing if Judge Azcarate from the Depp/Heard trial gets assigned to this.

Judges are picked by a mostly opaque legislative committee appointment. While judges are judges, judges are often given cases based on their internal performance reviews based on their ability to effectively judge in cases. It's extremely unlikely that a judge that was recently handling a very high profile case would be knocked down to retard duty. There are certain tier of judges which also effect where a judge can go depending mostly on their appointment.

Often judges have specialties. It's pretty common for a new judge to be assigned to family court (and other than a few sick individuals most people leave that as soon as possible), or to have some specialty, but often cases are assigned randomly, or based on their prior involvement in the case. It really depends on the jurisdiction.

Unless it's against the rules, I'd think they'd want a fairly experienced judge with a good grasp of criminal procedure for this, maybe a senior status (semi-retired) judge who can devote his or her time to this one case.

We'll know soon enough anyway.

If they're actually planning on treating this as a rape, short of capital murder, you don't get a more grave charge.

If Chris stood trial as a normal person would mean everything we have ever done means nothing and all these people on this website are completely insane and should be judged according, it would mean we are insane and they are normal, how the hell can you guys not get your mind around this guy is not normal, bully him for 10 years then throw him to the dogs attitude.

grow a backbone and man up.
As @Pointless Sperg has pointed out time and time again, it's entirely possible to be clinically insane, and still be too sane for Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity.

If a crazy person slits a woman's throat because puff the magic dragon told him to do it, and every psychologist and psychiatrist in the world testifies that he genuinely suffers extreme psychosis, vivid hallucinations and impaired thinking, that crazy person would STILL be found competent to stand trial for his crimes because he knew he was holding a knife and using it to cut a person. If he knew he was holding a knife and using it to cut a person, he's too sane for NGRI. Puff the magic dragon doesn't matter.

As long as Chris knew he had a penis, and that penis was entering Barb, he's too sane for NGRI, even if Sonichu told him to do it for literally insane reasons Chris fully believed.

The famous example would be Son of Sam, who claimed to have committed his serial killings because he was told to by his neighbor's demon-possessed dog. Despite this he was repeatedly held competent to stand trial and pled guilty to his crimes (refusing to enter an insanity plea).

The bottom line is Chris knew right from wrong, otherwise he’d be boasting from the beginning that he healed Barbara with his soul bonding magic and not lie or try to hide anything.

On the other hand, it's still possible, and the prosecutor just wants an indictment for the purposes of showing that they didn't just railroad a troon through the system.

I don't believe anyone would think that after giving him a whole year in J&DR. This court has been ridiculously patient with Chris. I think at this point, were Chris to plea guilty, they'd want to wrap things up as quickly as possible.

I looked at hundreds of cases in Greene County for examples and I couldn't find a felony case where it didn't go through indictment (either direct indictment, or after prelim in district court).

Plea deals in felony cases generally happen after indictment. Why would an accused person make a deal when there's always a chance the prosecution will drop the charges for lack of evidence before sending it to a grand jury? But how many cases spent a year in J&DR first? I can't think of any. None whatsoever. Most guilty (and not retarded) people would jump at the chance for a misdemeanor plea deal in a closed court, and do.

Chris' case is unique, so other cases are not as comparable. It has to be that Chris is being obstinate and forcing the court to run the full process on him.

The tard home, presumably.

Certainly not the prison. However tard homes usually have strict limits on the amount and types of personal possessions residents are allowed to bring with them. This is to avoid envy and conflicts with other residents. He would not be allowed to bring his entire hoard to the tard home, and Chris would find this intolerable. Expect a first order chimp out.

Can't take a simultaneous case related to another case, as it could lead to a conflict of interest between your clients. It would be okay once he is no longer representing Chris.

I'm assuming they'd B&E at 14BLE after Chris' case is over, not before. They've had a year so far and kept away. I suspect the chance that Barb might still be there is keeping them out.

The most likely time would be after Barb kicks the bucket or the home goes into foreclosure. I can almost guarantee some ween will want to take a last chance opportunity to video the inside of an unoccupied 14BLC, and if they get caught? Well, better call Heilberg.

It's free legal education,

Only for jurors willing to learn. Unfortunately a lot of mouth breathers selected for juries pay no attention and only go along with everyone else when it's time to deliberate.

Apparently it's pretty hard to close actual trials in Virginia. If it gets that far, it should be open.

Never underestimate the power of weens to ruin things for everyone else.

The farms deserves video of this happening.

Yes. And I expect him to try in some chimpy tard way when he realizes Heilberg is not going to get him back in his temple. The proceedings will be recorded, but unfortunately the recording will likely never be made public.

In a situation like that you can claim hardship as a reason to get out of it, and most places give you one free pass for any reason.

Or a one year delay.

Also the judge is never going to allow Chris to defend himself since no one would think he's competent enough to lead his own defense.

That doesn't mean Chris won't try. He won't make an official attempt to dismiss his counsel and represent himself, but we can expect him to talk over his lawyer a LOT.

Has Chris ever played Phoenix Wright?

Will the ruling of the grand jury be made public?

Yes. He'll be indicted. The proceedings of the grand jury will remain hush hush secret, though.

If it is, how soon after Aug. 8 will we find out the ruling?

However long it takes them to enter the indictment in the database.

But I can tell you right now, Chris will be indicted.

More like waddling, Chris is never going to have a car again even a clunker.

Some ween should buy him a cheap Chinese vespa clone once the homeless saga begins. Just to see him lose it.

but he was a woman at this point wasn't he, the government gave him drugs to be a woman, he not a man anymore he can not be charged as a man, he is being charged as a woman.
He is being charged as a MAN. Though his name was legally changed to Christine, he is being stored in a mens jail, and his sex is listed as male.

Truly a shame.

Why not? Cars are extremely important in most of the US.

Who gives a shit? It’s the same crime no matter what. Besides, the paperwork says he’s being charged as a man.

The famous example would be Son of Sam, who claimed to have committed his serial killings because he was told to by his neighbor's demon-possessed dog.
Didn’t he later admit he was lying about it trying to get an NGRI?

It might be helpful for some on this forum to know that grand juries (I just got off a 3 month term) are instructed to base their decisions on whether the State has proven to them that the defendant has "more likely than not" committed the act(s).

If you want to role play as a member of Chris's grand jury, think about it in those terms. The jury I was on delivered true bills after very little discussion in 95% of the cases we heard. It's very likely that the jury will hear this case and say "sounds fucking gross" and proceed with the charges. They're not going to get a colorful history of CWC until they Google him when they get home.

he lives nothing you can do about it
Nothing you can do to resist shitting up the thread, I don't want Chris dead, just you to stop this faggotry.

With how the second hand market is and Chris's spending it's more likely one of us gets to fuck Taylor swift while Russell Greer watches in the cuck corner.

Chris gets off and is unfit to stand trial, criminally insane, there are lots of characters that have been doxed for causing this and i hope will be brought into court to face trial...

those 4 little shitheads who wanted to make a name for themselves like they got myg0t were the ones that ruined him i want them slammed up anyone can play with a broken duck i want them twats they should be in court and faces charges, and they will ill make sure of it.
So which is it with you? ESL or profound autism? (or both?)

LOL! I love it when people pretend that Chris. A man so cowardly that a job application can make him shard his pants in fear, and so timid that a con official can make him roll up into a quivering ball of anxiety, is some wild, unstoppable Nigger beast, raping his way through Greene county in a vain attempt to satiate his degenerate Sonichu lust.
Putting a knife to someone's throat isn't the only way someone can be dangerous, a lot of retarded but not violent predators just prey on children or other physically/mentally weak people. Like I've said before, a lot of the dudes nabbed on TCAP were definitely low IQ. I don't think Chris is going to go raping people out on the street but I think if he had access to other retards he might be dangerous. As far as seniors I don't know if he had some special reason to go after Barb and wouldn't be a danger to other old people, but I thought he said something about being attracted to old folks. I don't really think Chris has ever showed an attraction to children but at this point who knows.

I think that if chris is bring charged with rape he won't take a plea deal. Because at that point it would be several years behind bars. I could only see chris taking a plea deal if it let's him out of jail immediately or gives him a very light sentence. Guess it depends on what's going on with borb. Is she being charged with incest with her son? Or is she incompetent to stand trial (therefore she couldn't consent)
