There's a glitch?
Yep, On PC, If you disconnect your internet at the right time during the ending cutscene (I do it as soon as "heist passed" pops up) you can get the money from the heist but not actually complete the heist. The heist will still be available when you return to online. Repeat till you're bored

On console it works the game largely but for some reason the host gets nothing while the crew gets payed. So you'll need to have a friend host the heist and give you the maximum cut.

I think it's not "disconnect your Internet," but go to Task Manager and suspend performance for a few seconds while the game figures out what's going on. Maybe you could do that if you're wired.

this new gta online update feels like it was designed around newfags, especially those who never actually played the original heists

who the fuck wants to go back to dealing with the cutscenes, load times, randumbs, people arguing over percentages, etc. etc.

even with the 3 hour cooldown, cayo perico would be a far better use of time.

and yeah, never underestimate the stupidity of the modern gamer. they literally think game development begins when they see a prerendered trailer now.

All these QoL changes they've added with this update should've been incorporated two, three years ago. Especially the private sell missions.

I feel bad for Professional. He was pretty optimistic for this update despite all the RDOnline stuff. He's absolutely right that the pay bumps aren't really substantial enough, especially with the OG Heists where so much prep work and coordination are required. I didn't even think about how the prison break payout is like 500,000 that needs to be divided up amongst 4 people. Even with a 75% bump that's only 875k

My question is does the Cayo Perico heist timer work on executive cooldown timers where they cooldown even while the game is shut off? Or is it business production timers where they tick down only while you are playing?

It's a huge difference between jumping on, doing a cayo perico, getting off and continuing the next day and doing the same thing but getting on the next day and realizing you have to do other shit for 3 hours because it doesn't countdown while the game is off.

I'd be mad too if a reliable money making strategy was nerfed for "balancing reasons."

Anybody with an iota of sanity wrote GTAV/O off in 2016/7.
Most should have wrote it off as anything to take seriously when hackers gave everyone billions of dollars in 2013 tbqh.

There is fun to be had, but only when you're just fucking around IMO.

It's pretty bullshit. I was really surprised by just how fucking easy it was to make a million + an hour when I came back a month or so ago. And the idea that Rockstar took a whole two years to really put a stop to it is insane to me coming from the days where there were daily updates that only seemed to stop money making tactics.

I am kind of curious how much more my old method of rotating VIP/Terrorbyte work between Import/Export sales will increase with this update. I'm not thinking it will be that substantial but it could be enough to come close to Cayo Perico with the lowest possible take.

Yep, there are people on the subreddit basically going "and that's a good thing" about the nerf. Really don't understand how people are concerned about how others play the game.

Yeah, I took a glance to see what retardation would fly and someone literally said it's a good nerf because it will finally shut up people who are fans of Cayo Perico. WTF?

Gamers just keep getting more and more retarded, I swear.

If people are farming a heist to make easy money, maybe your economy needs to be looked at.

"Cayo Perico is the best thing to do, so that's all anyone did, so it had to be nerfed"

No you Swedish retard. First and foremost they should make the rest of the content fun and enjoyable to play. The second thing they could have done was *actual* economy balance like they should have done 9 fucking years ago from the start. Third thing they could have done, and by far the easiest and laziest, would be to give everything else an actual payment boost that reflects the time, work and annoyance it is to them.

The whole "primary loot reverts to less valuable pools while secondary loot reverts to more valuable" itself isn't even an awful change (but mostly because I'm not even convinced this is a real change since every time I've done the heist for the past two weeks it's always been tequila and only occasionally the necklace). It's the 3 fucking hour cooldown that is bullshit.

Edit: Also these people going on about "Well now people will do sales missions again!"

No. Fuck off. I spent 3-4 years doing them non stop. I'm done. Give me something new, not a lazy "fix" that should have been done 3-4 years ago. I stopped playing for damn near a year and a half simply because I was so sick of the same bullshit and now I'm being told by fanboys that being pushed back to it is a good thing?

I won't lie. A final DLC for GTA Online involving Micheal working in scenes for a movie and the twist being that GTA Online was one big production would be quite meta.

Hell, Micheal even likes old movies. Why not parody Old Hollywood?
