They were the predominant "No Fun Brigade" of the 2010s and still are now, except now you have a sizeable number of people on the right who see a black guy in a video game or a female protagonist and it's instantly degenerate woke trash and you should never again participate in hobbies, consume modern media or eat "goyslop" because everything is degenerate and gay and retarded. They're not there yet, not as loud and not nearly as obnoxious but they're trying to take the title for being the 2020's "No Fun Brigade".

Being serious, the issue is that nowadays AAA are nearly entirely trash, and there is 1 to 1 correlation with having diversity front and center and terrible quality. People in the past didn't care for black people and women being playable because games were still good, here it is a grim reaper of quality.

Furthermore, with this game specifically it's so ugly. Like why show women twerking on a social media post? Or hood rats having fun? Or white cumdump in a music festival? This isn't what Florida is known for. We barely have a glimpse at the beaches, roads and swamps that make it an attractive location. If you tried to sell me a ticket to this place I'd punch you in the face. It looks like the worst part of urban and societal decay.

We also have no gameplay here, and the scenes themselves are likely not ingame quality. The whole trailer is a slap in the face for people who actually want to see gameplay in a game, but the hype of it being a GTA game will mean that people already pre purchased the game.

It's all just so tiring.

I'm wholly uninterested because gtaV wasn't very good ans RDR2 is garbage and had all the worst excesses of a AAA movie game. They didn't spend 10 years making this game good, they spend 10 years bloating the fuck out of everything for the "cinematic experience". Press x to watch a movie clip and is not even a good movie.

1. Inserting a female protagonist but making a white chad her boyfriend and co protagonist reduces the backlash.

Shit game too and also too late of a release date, by the time it releases it's going to feel like a rockstar game vs. a new game, too many cutscenes will leave the main gameplay looking underwhelming and lackluster, not to mention that they'll most probably do GTA online again, think of it as a remake of V with a bloated plot.

Miami is a trashy city full of trashy people. It's nothing new and as a Floridian, it's well known by everyone in the state and probably the country. That's why Spring Break has always been associated with the dregs of society, whether it be college frat/sorority faggots looking for one-night stands and destroying their livers with retarded amounts of alcohol or hoodrats. Plus, it has a good deal of white trash as well. I do not get what you are trying to say. There are good reasons to think this game will be shit, chief among them that this is the first game with none of the original Rockstar staff and Rockstar using this as a means to push predatory monetization schemes just like they did with GTA Online, but complaining about how unrealistic the demographics of the game is or degeneracy when that is not far removed from reality is the weirdest fucking reason I've seen to hate this game. A lot of these types of posts read like unironic parodies of those Chudjak "The West Has Fallen" memes.

- GTA VC shows the glam and glitz of 80s Miami was only for the elite and corrupt. The mainland where the locals lived was a shithole. You didn't want to live here.
- In SA gangbanging is shown to be a dead end no matter how good you think your intentions are or how noble your beliefs are. If CJ had rejected Sweet and continued empire-building with Kendl, Sweet's fate was to be a crackhead who fell into despair at seeing his ideals be a fragile illusion, his neighborhood a wreck, and his people drug addicts with no aspirations or hope.
- IV expressed that the American dream is dead and the locals have it too good to see the country they've let rot, but also showcases how a lot of immigrants are just as terrible if not worse, chasing that "fuck you, I gotta get mine" mentality. No loyalty, no community; just selfish strangers couped up in a city with a mythos long gone.

I want to hope that VI will have a similar message of "It's fun to be bad, just don't think this kind of fun is good for you", but seeing how contemporary media loves to enable the worst aspects of society, where cynicism is a virtue, and excess and vice are wholesome, I have strong doubts that this Vice City is less an exaggerated vision of Miami and more a mockumentary of it.

Who's saying any of this? You're talking about 60 seconds of contextless video that probably isn't even real gameplay footage. All GTA games have been full of parody and mockery of various groups and sleazy or cringy characters but you didn't see any of that parody in the first teaser trailer that came out 2 years before the game, you only got to see that in the damn game.

You have no objective reason or precedent to assume that they'll attempt to portray all this degeneracy in a positive light, you're just being a blackpilled fucking miser, here.

How are they going to make a decent soundtrack with what’s out now? The older stations (if they have them) could be fine, but that won’t be the majority.
I don’t think two years is enough time to improve music across genres.

Not only that both Dan Houser and Laslow who have been writing and producing the radio stations for all Rockstar games have left the company. So yeah, I don't have high hopes for the radio. Which is unfortunate because it plays a big part with the in-game immersion, especially with GTA games.

I had so much fun getting into car chases with other players, glitching inside of the one building at the airport and taking out anyone unfortunate enough to walk by. GTA 5 online was terrible and I only touched it once. The fucking orbital cannons, the flying goddamn motorcycles with weaponry, the shark card bullshit. I hated it.
