Apparently this actress Manni L Perez could be playing Lucia. Even though GTA Forums can be gay, they did identify the actors playing the trio in GTA V relatively quickly once they were shown IIRC

I wonder if the DLC was axed before or after they decided to not have any of the updates for Online show up in the story mode. I still remember how disappointed I was when I went back to finish the story after abandoning it for Online, only to realize I couldn’t buy the Deluxo I’d been using exclusively in Online.

Actually, thinking about it, I wonder if the online updates were meant to have singleplayer counterparts that got cut so people would have to buy shark cards to try out shit like flying cars instead of just using the cash you get at the end of the game’s story.

I feel sorry for the lead actors of GTA VI that will be bombarded with hate/autistic requests from the rabid GTA V community.

It's a logical assumption

IIRC, a lot of the pre heist DLC vehicles were extremely cheap and/or free when they were still being added to single player. There was a really obvious point (with I think Ill Gotten Gains) where their priorities shifted.

I remember people specifically saying this was going to be a problem with shark cards, and fanboys claimed that the price increases was a temporary measure to combat the billionaire bounty days even though it happened a year and a half prior. Even back then there were shark card apologists.

I think there has already been an actor who's been harassed for a year or two over GTA VI showing up on a resume or something.

I've been thinking, its kinda funny that Florian was so PTSD-torn he became a homo. Rockstar would never do that now I feel.

Pretty much

This is why I say there have never been attractive women in GTA.

I think it's one of the places where pushing for "realism" hurts the game. Yeah, she's probably not wearing makeup, so she shouldn't be that pretty, but I want to play a game about larger than life criminal badasses, and part of that is having woman that are attractive, especially if you're making one of them the main character. You can also kinda see it in the male characters, most of them aren't that attractive either physically, but there's quite a bit more leeway in playing larger than life criminal badasses that aren't attractive if they're men.

I think that her model is okay. It's not terrible, but it gives a distinctly down to earth vibe to it that doesn't super suit GTA.

I disagree. Mercedes from GTA: Vice City, Maria from GTA III, Agatha from GTA Online Diamond update, Amanda De Santa from GTA V. Of course, I'm stretching it. Inb4 somebody says, "oh, you're attracted to polygonal characters!" Well, take a look at their concept art if you want to be technical.

I have a headcanon that Jessica LeClark from RDO is a descendant from Agatha Baker from GTA Online.

Still kinda surprised there wasn't an ending planned to kill BOTH Trevor and Michael. Michael was the sole source of drama in Franklin's life and Trevor was completely insane and far too unpredictable to keep alive. Franklin cutting a secret deal with the feds to take them both down and end up the sole protagonist with everything would be a hollow yet fairly logical ending.
It wouldn't make sense when the final heist requires someone else to handle the gold and lester calls you a snake and pockets the money if you off michael/trevor.
And i doubt a dumb hood nigga would be able to somehow launder gold stolen directly from the feds

I don't know man, even 3D era concept art didn't really do any of those characters any favors.

It got better in the HD era I guess, but to the point that people should be upset that Lucia looks the way she does?

Edit: GTA 5’s Story DLCs, Bully 2 and Midnight Club 5 weren’t cancelled in favour of GTA Online according to devs speaking anonymously. (Xitter Archive)

According to sources in 2014 Leslie Benzies (One of the most important producers at Rockstar) and the Housers got into a huge disagreement due to Leslie’s desire to focus more on Online titles solely over Single-Player for the future of Rockstar. Proof of this is what Benzies is currently making, an online Fortnite-esque “platform” titled Everywhere.

This disagreement reached a breaking point resulting in Leslie Benzies leaving the company in mid-2014, Alongside him, a large number of the developers who were working on GTA 5’s Expansions left the company alongside him, pausing the work on the DLCs indefinitely as Rockstar got to hiring new devs and training them to work with RAGE.

During this, the GTAO team was making great progress on their work and seeing huge success so Rockstar decided to lend them more resources to build out GTAO which ultimately paid off hugely.

By late 2015 the dream of a GTA 5 story expansions had died as the Housers decided to shift all their focus to Red Dead Redemption 2, By 2016 a Liberty City expansion to GTA 5/GTAO had been prototyped but ultimately also cancelled as RDR2 kept growing in scale, adding in New Austin very late in development and expanding the game's insane scope even further, the scope of RDR2 got so large that every single Rockstar studio fully dedicated themselves to RDR2, placing Bully 2 and all other ideas on ice until further notice.

Ultimately, RDR2 became by far Rockstar's largest ever title in sheer scale and detail, GTAO made sure Rockstar was secure financially during this time which allowed them to fully focus on one singular title over releasing multiple smaller titles so in that way, yes GTAO affected how Rockstar makes games.

Rockstar now focuses on Bigger games that take way longer to develop over smaller games that release more often.

Wouldn't Leslie Benzies being forced out for wanting to push Online over single player content, which only lead to Online getting pushed over single player content be some irony or what?

Well, if I want to be "in character," I'd say Pegorino's wife is my favorite GTA character because... you know.

Anita Sarkeesian would say that women do not play pivotal roles in GTA, but I'd beg to differ. GTA III starts with betrayal from a former girlfriend followed by working with a female Yakuza boss which ends with her death and a kidnap of a "love interest." GTA V's plot kicks into gear with Michael's wife cheating with her tennis coach.

At least we know how R* works now. Go big for one game, briefly support it, go all hands on deck for the next game, repeat. If GTA Online did not succeed as it did, I'm certain that GTA VI would've been released sooner. They could allocate a team for GTA Online; yet they left RDO to rut.
Frankly, I doubt I'll buy 6 for awhile. I've a hunch they'll shit out a singleplayer game then go full online again. I really fear for the modding scene.
