What could 6 have that's unique? Surfing? Deep-Sea fishing? Airboat smuggling in the Everglades? Square Grouper smuggling? Assassinations for hire (think going to a contact to get wetwork and cash)? Arson for hire missions? Something involving the beaches like getting a perfect tan?
I'm expecting some activity in the water. Hang gliding, wake boarding, surfing.

I was just thinking about side things that could be possible in GTA6. 5 had a pretty good golf sim, skydiving, racing, yoga, owned business missions (advertising for the theaters, bringing liquor to bars, taking down guys trying to rob you businesses), and Trevor's smuggling stuff. GTA 6 leaks showed that there would be a stealth element in avoiding being seen by cameras. I guess there will be heists ala what we've seen in GTAO

What about home invasions a la GTA SA? Maybe it could become a way to earn some extra money.
Panic buttons do exist IRL, its not impossible for that to be realistic, at least more so than the Cougars and Coyotes calling 911 on you.
I do wonder if there'll be a higher response time if you kill a cop in the middle of nowhere compared to in the city. That would make more sense.

Not directly related to GTA but Rockstar related, a fun video I found:
TL;DW is that for whatever reason, R* went WAY overboard, I mean put a stupid amount of time and effort to give several redundant anti-piracy measures for those who pirated the game, to the point where it seems sadistic and personal at times...only for actual crackers to never trigger any of these measures and for the PAID STEAM RELEASE to trigger all of them, making the product paying customers got completely unplayable without any third party patches. Of course, downloading the game illegally for free also works, only the paypig gets punished.
Very entertaining video, I can only wonder how many bugs could be squashed or how much more content could be put into the game if the devs focused their energy on something that mattered.

DId BattleEye actully work in practice?

According to Gtamen, it was compromised within six hours. It would literally be easier to just do dedicated servers on TOP of an anticheat software.
It's all about making things worse for people who aren't tech savvy
From Denuvo to rootkit anti-cheats etc.pp.
I'm not sure if I'll touch GTA Online ever again

Did BattleEye actully work in practice?
Short answer: No.

Long answer: Still no. Just like the rest of existing anticheats you could of think of. Starting now, freebie mod menus will no longer run on GTA V and you'll need to pay monthly for mod menu so other paid mod menu users can't fuck you over easily if you always play in public.

Just play another game worth your time.

Let me add: BattleEye cannot stop player exploits. There are still players that use God mode glitches by manipulating interior logic with the job creator.

Siege uses BattlEye and well - it's not going too hot.
Honestly I wish that in general we just went back to player-hosted dedicated servers so we could just remove the bad apples ourselves.
Of course R* failing to even ban people who "make" 100 mil in one auto-save cycle is a joke.

They did the same thing with EFLC too. TLaD had the issue where R* legitimately put more time in making anti-piracy measures than they did in optimizing the game for PC.
This didn't even amount to much either cause all it took was 4 days instead of 2 at time to not only crack it, but also fix R*'s retardations.

Reported GTA Online/RDO servers are "limited" across all platforms as of this post.

And yet there was a simple solution back in my days of playing SA:MP freeroam servers. Dedicated community servers, with jannies, People were friendly, cheaters would get /votekick ID, or a ban if mod or admin was online. I remember "modder" having a different meaning, It meant person creating mods, not just cheat menu griefer/cheater people using S0beit were simply called cheaters and they would get bonked with range ban.

I haven't played since it was implemented, I'm waiting until I'm sure it's safe again. The menu I use had this in the changelog:

The GTA5modding subreddit, for what it's worth.

I think my interest in the game will completely die if I can't use a mod menu any more. It makes the game way better, having access to everything and being able to enhance the game in tonnes of fun ways, it's just like using cheats in the PS2 games but even better. In an ideal world we would all be having this experience legitimately instead of it being reserved for cheaters with mod menus who often then abuse their power to ruin poor Joe Soap's 9-5 MC business grind.

Having your own mod menu in a lobby full of other friendly modders is the funnest experience you can have in GTAVO. It's the forbidden,  true GTAVO.

It was better in GTA IV where you COULD host your own private session with any mods you'd so please.

One such example.
