The RC helicopter mission, I assume he's referring to the Avery Carrigation mission, Demolition Man.

I have gotten through that mission first try on mobile. And this is coming from a person who has struggled with it on the PS2 several years ago. It's actually one of the easiest RC missions in the whole trilogy. The time limit is quite lenient, if you know what you're doing.

Hell, even the pistol enemies don't do that much damage if you move around.

- There's a whole generation that never played these games. Money to be made.
- Removal of transphobic jokes and wrongthink like mocking liberals and fags.
- Money, money, money.
Rate me optimistic, but I highly doubt they would do this.

Everyone, and everything gets shit on in Rockstar games. Fags, troons, right-wingers, and lefties. Everything is fair game. Even in their latest game this is still true. They have no reason to take this shit out. Twitter'll throw a bitchfit about it, but since when has Rockstar ever cared?

I'll believe it when I see it, but claiming Rockstar of all companies will suddenly cave to the woke mob is just a retarded take at this point.

Daily reminder they lost their main writer last year and his brother care more about his records company

Who cares? Unless the company is swarmed by SJWs, or suddenly caves to libtard investors, Rockstar's not gonna become woke.

Look, I have no doubt losing the old guard is gonna mean shittier games, but I don't think wokeness is something we have to worry about with these guys. If I'm wrong, then sure, but until then, I think you guys are freaking out about the wrong thing.

First thing I thought of reading his comment was fucking Air Raid. Fuck that garbage.

The Haitian mission or the Zero mission? Because they're both insane.

A slow trick I learned from the Haitian RC mission is to use the plane to "run over" the enemies at the docks.

I just want to see what the remasters are going to look like graphically.
It's the only thing that will probably get any form of big changes, the gameplay should be fine and untouched.

If any gameplay is changed, I'd like GTA3 to be made a bit less awkward.

Zero's. If that was a mainline mission, 14 year old me would have never beat San Andreas and had it become favorite video game of all time. Because that mission was extra retarded with a side of bullshit.

Supply Lines was even worse.
New Model Army wasn't bad though.

I still maintain that Wrong Side Of The Tracks is the worst mission as Smoke is a retard. I hope that's fixed.

If there is enough public backlash, R* would make changes if need be.

With Vice City, they removed nearly all Cuban and Haitian references with their respective gangs after an Haitian American group protested in NYC against the dialogue. Only the original PS2, Xbox and PC versions have that dialogue.

San Andreas was a big one. The leftover "Hot Coffee" sex minigame in the game files caused a massive uproar with a class action lawsuit. As a result, modding was excised in the 2.0 PC version and that leftover code was omitted from subsequent releases.

To a lesser extent, IV received scrutiny from MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) for having the ability to drive intoxicated. That explains why Niko would make hesitant comments when entering a vehicle after drinking.

It's possible that R* would cave in with that particular request. We'll see what happens.

I'll be fine never playing another Zero mission again in my life.

Wrong Side of the Tracks was a pretty awful mission I agree. It took video game fundamentals and threw it out the window. If I steadily pull up alongside the train, video game fundamentals dictate that the AI (Smoke) will kill the Vagos. Unreal the rng that accompanied that mission. What a pain in the ass and I can't imagine a high percentage of people who played the game beat that first try.

It's not just the AI. It's the slow rate of fire, double health on the enemies, awful positioning and lack of testing.

1. IIRC, the Cuban and Haitian groups threatened to sue Rockstar and this was when they were swamped in controversies and court cases thanks to guys like Jack Thompson.

2. Hot Coffee was enough of a big deal that they had to remove it to avoid the AO rating, which was pretty much a death sentence for console games (and still is)

It's possible Rockstar will go full woke tard without being prompted to do so, but we won't know for sure until we see the final product.

We'll see what happens. It's a nothingburger so even if something DOES happen, R* has done way worse with V.

I only heard about R* deciding to fuck with the older releases, but I only have GTA:SA on my old PS2, dunno if I can still use it. Are there any sekrit links for a resident PC pirate?

Also, what about mods? Are they gone, like the big ones?

"""new""", seriously what is this remaster going to achieve that hasn't been achieved already?
Getting the games on a Nintendo device at long last.

Trust me, the Nintendo Switch sales alone will probably make this re-release a success unless they fuck shit up bad via SJW pandering changes to the games and not bothering to pay the kings ransom for the music rights.
