So, they want GTA VI to become....The Last of Us 2?
Sigh...these people are the death of vidya games. They won't rest until every last franchise is as tedious and painfully cringe as the people who complain about them. And even then, it won't be enough.
Just tell these people to fuck off and then ignore them.
Here's some GTA VI news that isn't total bullshit (although it isn't much either). The resume of dancer/actor Natonia Monet mentioned a character named "Tamara" for a Rockstar Games project dubbed "Fireball." This most likely refers to GTA VI as GTA V had a similar codename (Firestorm), and so did GTA IV (Ice). It was also removed from her resume after it was discovered by GTAForums.

While I'm sure she's working on GTA VI, I'm like 90% sure GTAForums is being retarded again. GTA IV had some sort of Ice casting codename (I think it was Frozen, though, but it's been 14 years and I'm having trouble finding the interview with Michael Hollick where he confirmed it)
GTA V's casting codename was "Rush" though, I never heard "Firestorm" in my life.
Speaking of GTAForums retardation, they're absolutely losing their shit that Rockstar hasn't released a trailer for the next GTA Online update and has "delayed" it without saying a word, even though Rockstar never actually gave a date and they all just speculated a date based off fucking GTA+ event dates.

I disagree. I have seen absolutely nothing come out of Rockstar in the past 4 years that showcase they're going to make some switch to deep, meaningful experiences in Grand Theft Auto.
If *anyone* was going to be the one to do that, it would have been Dan Houser IMO, and he's gone.
I'm not as cynical as some people are about the future, but I don't see them going down the road of The Last of Us style stories or anything. If anything, the only reason "parody" would be dropped is because the real world has become a parody of the world Grand Theft Auto shows us at this point with how vapid and unscrupulous everyone has become.
Despite what Sony fanboys want people to believe, the masses have shown us that goofy, turn your brain off chaos with lots of pretty things to buy is what is in style.
GTA III is the only game where one could get away with pedestrians saying ”My Mother‘s My Sister” and “Yep, I’ve been drinking again” in the same vein as one another.
Plus, the NPC interactions with pedestrians reminds me a lot of Half-Life for some reason.
because:
1) the companies have outdated thinking, that gaming journalists are bridge between them and consumers (except that's not 2000s anymore and currently gaming media turned into political soapbox)
2) getting ESG bux requires going woke (even if that it's not worth in a long term)
Can you imagine how fucking crazy game journos today would go if GTA had a chinese gang where everyone talked in ching chong bing bong accents and wore literal fish factory jumpsuits?

This is quite possibly the laziest update yet. They're basically cramming the few unique elements from businesses into other businesses because they're stupid career builder is a piece of shit when you realize there was no thought put into how any of this would work 10 years down the line, and then they're adding two additional missions to each branch to "increase mission variety".
Plus some stupid plot where you fight the duggans again because oil prices went up.
If people really thought GTA Online was going to get better support with Red Dead Online dying, they were clearly mistaken.
And of course, GTA Forums is losing their shit acting like this is the second coming of Jesus. Holy Fuck.
It’s called Criminal Enterprises, but didn’t we just witness Franklin trying to get back in the drug game after being a hardworking CEO while having to rely on Lamar to do the real work?
I’m not sure they‘ll be able to top the special guest Dr. Dre version of GTA Online, and to be honest, this will not help them even with all the new players this will gain.
Texan oil dynasty. They're the main antagonists of the Diamond Casino updates and funny enough one of your agencies clients.
There is a possibility that the Duggans will end up being a red herring simply because a Clifford Cyborg is shown in the trailer, but who knows? I've been saying for a while this feels like they're getting ready to "wrap up" GTA Online and Clifford was one of those (admittedly really weak) things they left open ended.
The gta vi leak person really should have went with the Duggans instead of the Von Crastenburgs in their story since they are the ones that keep showing up in GTA Online
I am very skeptical of GTA VI, or whatever it will be (they seem to insist upon referring to it as the, "next installment" rather than GTA VI. It could mean nothing, but I still find that interesting). The old guard is gone. And akin to a television series where all the original creators/writers left, it will likely result in a product that is attempting to mimic itself. (prepare for copious cringy "R* edge"). This has represented the death knell of many an IP. But the fallout if it is even slightly woke will be more fun to watch than playing the game (and odds lean heavily in favor that it will be). It will be an all out battle royale between R* ballwashers, skeptics, woketards, and consoomers. I cannot wait for that.
