Funny. Los Angeles is overwhelmingly Hispanic yet in V's trailer there isn't over-representation of any one particular ethnic group.
Hell, they even show someone gassing the illegals with toxic pesticides.

Exactly, that wasn't LA and this isn't Miami. I have no idea why it has to be filled with spics and niggers like in real life, it's clearly a design choice made by whatever hollowed out shell is left of Rockstar's developers after RDR 2.

This reminds me of the 2023 Saints Row, hope it goes the same way for them.

No, it doesn't look exactly like spring break every single day, but its still going to look really black because modern day Miami Beach has a ton of niggers in its present day party culture. Nobody dresses themselves in pastels and dances under disco lights because it's been out of style for 40 years. If you want a crime and party game in modern day Miami then you'll make it look like modern day Miami and that's what they did because that's authentic. Just like they had the mudding trucks in the countryside with the hicks and the Latina models on the skyscraper.

I don't really know why everyone is just focused on black people when the writing for this trailer is so dog shit. What do we know about the characters or story from this trailer? Female protagonist does a shitty one liner joke that you'd see in pretty much every modern movie with a dog shit writer then it just goes to "we trust each other right????" which is probably just setting up for an obvious betrayal as a twist and if it isn't then its somehow even worse than the most obvious twist to try and shock people that think it'll be 1:1 with Bonnie and Clyde.

Say whatever you want about GTA 5 but they still had a good writer on at this point and the initial trailer for it is about the same length but it tells you significantly more about Michael and it delivers it pretty well, has him talking about winding down and becoming a family man but then goes into talking about buying a big house (materialistic) and talks about being a dad like all the other dads and his kids would be like the kids on TV (cares about the outward appearance above everything else) then goes into him going back to his criminal ways and is very dismissive about it with the "you know how it is" (not taking responsibility for going back to crime and also showing that he really hasn't changed to be a better person)

All of it fits with the character after the game launched and it's actually pretty well done considering they showed all these details about Michael in about a minute. This is yet another game where they add +1 to the sequel number and the people who made the previous games what they were are no longer there but the game gets eaten up anyway, people also will hate the game but for the wrong reasons (as is the case in this thread) when you could criticize something for legitimate reasons of quality because they've shown their hand and showed they don't care about quality or the integrity of the creation they have in their hands, almost everyone is instead just opting into the "I hate that there's niggers" route.

There were a shit ton of leaks, some had conversations in them.
The clearest one I recall was some dudes by the pool and one shizo complaining about Chinese harvesting data or some shit. It was funny.

So obviously Rockstar don't really need to bother marketing anymore to ensure the next GTA will be a success but as someone who has casually played most of the games over the years I absolutely fail to see what's supposed to hook me in with this trailer. Pretty much the only thing they showed is the revolting setting. A hint of what the story and action might have been wouldn't have hurt. No I don't care if this is how GTA has always done its trailers. It was shit then and it is shit now. Games used to be released within a year or two back then so any uninformative trailer would have very quickly been followed up by another trailer, not to mention the game releasing.

Nothing that I recall. Most of it was meh, generic stuff you would expect from something as edgy as GTA, mind you a lot of stuff was copypasted from GTA V for beta version reasons.
The Chinese data harvesting was actually the funniest part that stuck to memory. I managed to find that part.
