So far, it looks damn near photorealistic to me. Now, take a look at V's character models up close. Nearly looks like action figures. My only concern is that the graphics look too cartoonish. After all, it is meant to be a parody of Florida which itself is a parody of the US.
Dude, I COMPLETELY forgot that Catalina and Claude were practically Bonnie and Clyde until Catalina betrayed Claude (and CJ). So, this Lucia/Jason affair is almost like Catalina/Claude but more sappy and a product of today's time? Good enough for me.looks kinda cool if trashy, will probably be an underwhelming sandbox/campaign a la Cyberpunk

By law? There's no law, it's just microsoft trying to crash the industry because Nintendo and Sony won't let them play the way Microsoft wants.Xbox Series S|X. They're two SKUs of the same console (family.) By law, any games released on Xbox Series X would need to have an Series S port. I know they'll have to scale down some graphics for the Series S to run it properly.

wait, they're making max Payne remakes?Ensuring they kill all hype and press for Max Payne, again, again.![]()
To be fair GTA 3 WAS Italians...Nah, what you guys don't realize is that GTA has been a perpetual decline towards wokeshit and diversity since San Andreas.
I mean, think about it. It started with the game about niggers, then you had a game about slavs, spics, and faggots, then you had a handheld game about chinks, then you had a game about niggers again and a Canadian, and now we got this.
It's just been a progressive downward spiral of racial diversity and cultural enrichment.
Ian Miles Chong would lick Elon Musks asshole clean after he took a messy dump if he thought it would get him more attention.
I'm not downplaying significant improvements in hardware, but it's worth bearing in mind that we haven't seen any gameplay footage yet.Its funny because we probably said the same thing when GTAV trailer came out, saying 4 looked like action figures. Graphic evolution is quite something.
The teaser was a bunch of memes made into a video game, and a few plot throw away lines that tell you nothing about the game besides this Hispanic lady being part of the cast.To be honest, the trailer just looks boring. Vice City not in the 80s is a weird choice of scenery, and that Lucia chick comes off as boring. I don't have a problem with a female protagonist, but it's GTA, so I expect someone memorable. Of course it's just a teaser, but that still should have been enough to get an idea of the MCs character.
Beyond that, they didn't show anything that piqued my interest. I hope that it's either gonna be good, or so egregiously woke that it absolutely crashes. ESG tanking the biggest video game in the world would be a beautiful thing to behold.
I don't know if the studio that makes GTA has ever had power autists of RDR extent working there long term but if they did we'd have that and more. GTA IV I think felt more alive than V, it felt like the world was actually moving and you were just a piece in it, which was especially impressive given the hardware limitations of the time. You could be driving along the bridge and spot cops searching cars, or have actual police encounters happening, etc. The NPC cops had better AI and instead of just gunning at randoms they used cover and avoided shooting if possible. Street vendors, pedestrians, etc all seemed to just be going about their days in a way that V tried to mimic and it just came off as fake and as though they're all performing for you.Everyone so focus on black people but nobody asks the real important question. Will the swamp area in the game have ghost orchards and three types of mangrove trees? If not, the games a hard pass for me.
Outside the memes, that's basically what every HD GTA trailer has been. The First Trailer touches on the world mainly, showing off the Main city, the people, vehicles, etc, and You get some hints at plot but never more than that. We didn't even see Franklin and Trevor until Trailer 2 for GTA 5, and didn't get gameplay until 2 months before launchThe teaser was a bunch of memes made into a video game, and a few plot throw away lines that tell you nothing about the game besides this Hispanic lady being part of the cast.
There is no gameplay. And literally no plot. Everything is speculation - which is exactly what Rockstar wants
I don't even get why it's that hard to understand.Alright fine, I'll chime in more about muh blacks.
I think the issue here isn't the blacks themselves, but how many of the game's NPCs are ghetto trash and hoodrats despite the main characters not being black. With San Andreas, the theme/setting with a predominantly black cast worked because it was specifically set in a black neighborhood around the time of the L.A. riots, and the overall theme was meant to mimic early 90's gangsta rap culture aesthetic (e.g. NWA, Boyz in the da Hood). That made sense considering that was the theme they were specifically going for for. Just like with vice City being a mashup of Miami Vice and Scarface, hence it had a lot of Latino characters and involved themes of organized crime amidst the neon colors and synth pop.
With the GTA 6, it feels like they just took a generic modern crime plot, set it in Florida, and flooded the cast of NPCs with a bunch of grotesque twerking sheboons. Again, it's not the blacks, it's how it's presented and shoehorned. Also because it's not a specific time period, the aesthetic doesn't work. VC and SA had a unique feel since they were set in prior decades and were deliberately meant to mimic a certain relevant culture from their respective time periods (especially with the music). Hell, watch the fucking commercial for SA: yeah, it's a bunch of ghetto black thugs with guns shooting each other...but with the theme music being "Welcome to the Jungle" and the intended aesthetic and geographic setting it's trying to convey, it absolutely hits hard.
TL;DR - GTA: SA worked with a black cast because the overall style and theme was about inner city gang warfare in a specific time period and specific location, so I understand it. This time it just feels like shoehorned diversity in the worst way. I loved VC and SA, but this just looks lame.
