I see a lot of people are arguing about what is woke and what isn't and what that even means. Since I'm a Star Trek nerd I'll give an example of what it used to be vs what it has become. In TNG there was an episode where Riker meets some genderless race and falls in love with one of them. We even get a "fags great amirite?!" speech at the end. But in spite of all that they still chose a young pretty actress to play his love interest. She just had short hair. Despite the entire episode being a lecture about promoting faggotry, in the end they still realized nobody wants to actually see or imagine Riker getting balled out by some dude. So they chose a cute girl to play the genderless. To me that sums up 90s/2000s style wokeism. "Women's lib sure is wonderful, btw here's a shot of Troi and Crusher scissoring while they work out, here's Seven of Nine in a cat suit". Everything is dreadful now a days because that filter is gone. Being hypocritical to save your show/game gets you cancelled so people have to play along all the way down the death spiral.
Coming back to GTA it was similar. GTA has always had blacks, but they were portrayed according to the paintbucket theory of race. They were blacks written by upper middle class whites. So they thought and acted like upper middle class whites imagine they would; white people at heart with a shade of dark paint thrown on them. They were not unreasonable animals. You could argue Franklin is the whitest behaving character in gta5. With current year entertainment though thats all over. All the adults who were clever enough profess one thing and do another are gone and all thats left are true believers. So this trailer is intriguing because it hints that while trying to portray true blackness, the devs may have accidentally flown too close to the sun and will portray niggers in all their actual degenerate 70 IQ disgusting violent obese sheboon twerking on cars glory. Despite not wanting to "punch down", their own ideological zeal seems to have led them to accidentally creating one of the most authentically racist depictions of current year america.
I'm honestly not even upset. I find it hilarious that 100 years later, Birth of a Nation and GTA6 are in total agreement about how empanicpiated negros behave when removed from white adult supervision.
