Somewhat of a side note, but English Ben's playthrough of Need for Speed Most Wanted is comically terrible. I got massive DSP vibes from it. Other than that, good GTA speedrunner.
His Most Wanted playthrough was very hard to watch though. Constantly crashing into objects and proceeding to complain about the vehicle physics the whole time. Constantly complaining about how brutal the cops are and saying that they were the worst part of the game outright. I think what really did it for me was the ending where Ben tried acting like being in a scripted 5 minute police chase was "bad game design" because 'a player might think the game is glitched because you can't lose the cops like you normally can.' Like, he's at Heat level 6 and he's whining about being unable to immediately lose the toughest cops in the game for a few minutes. He was such a baby during it.
KuruHS is the better player for racing games such as NFS, anyways. It's like you need to go to those who've been playing their niche of games for years to get the best experience and insight. People like Ben who will end up getting frustrated over the simplest things will make watching them become a dragging hell. Especially when the game will naturally get more difficult as it goes.

Perhaps he should just stick to playing total conversion GTA mods, he does those the best for sure.

the problem is woke stuff is a symptom of a bad game, its like when van halen asked for a bowl with no brown m&Ms, they'd check the bowl because a venue that won't honor that request is probably fucking up everywhere else and when you're dealing with pyrotechnics or other effects you don't want to get fucked over by shoddy workmanship.

And the type of dev that refuses to make characters attractive or have the women show off some TNA, is probably a dev that also won't give a fuck about making a satisfying story or good gameplay or enjoyable characters. they'll actively attack the audience the same way some concert venues would let musicians play but absolutely hate them and their fanbases.
I don't really agree because I've seen enough chinese gachaslop to know that there's a non zero chance that the TNA is used to cover up the game being a glorified gambling simulator.
For 3D games, you have better luck with older retail versions, Cuckstar intetionally made later releases harder to mod.
Not harder, but literally impossible in the case of SA. Downgrading is a bitch which is what I meant with that. Even with the downgrades, it's still annoying. Maybe I've been spoiled by Steam Workshop and Unity mods.
new gta 6 trailer leaked? (i am inclined to believe this is fake and gay)

This is literally a scene from the trailer of Watch Dogs 2, of course it's fake and gay.

literally impossible in the case of SA.
Yeah I forgot that one. I managed to find alternative mods for steam versions of III and VC, but for SA there wasn't any and I had to dig out a retail version.
Downgrading is a bitch which is what I meant with that.
You don't have to do that (except for IV), just grab an old, cracked retail version and spare yourself the headache.
Even with the downgrades, it's still annoying. Maybe I've been spoiled by Steam Workshop and Unity mods.
It could be, but I'd still prefer that over clients and online only bullshit.

Looks like a photograph from Detroit. Not the robot game that everyone glazes for its story, but actual Detroit.
Funny enough, it's meant to be San Fransisco. (then again, the other scenes look more in line with what actual SF is)
You don't have to do that (except for IV), just grab an old, cracked retail version and spare yourself the headache.
God bless HOODLUM and Fairlight. Fair enough, I meant it was annoying the people who try to go the legal route.
It could be, but I'd still prefer that over clients and online only bullshit.
Fair enough. I personally prefer downloading a zip file and drag and drop, and GTA modding still feels way far away from that.

What's your LSPDFR settings and plugins?

In a game series LITERALLY ABOUT FUCKING REDEMPTION there should have been double honor rewarded for walking away instead of killing a defenseless man cowering on his hands and knees looking at the dirt and perhaps maybe a nice letter to Tacitus Kilgore in the epilogue about how Jeremiah Compson found Redemption, sort of in the way that Reverend Swanson did. I don't think these faggots at rockstar understand what "redemption" means.
I want to joke about "don't you know only non bigots deserve redemption" but that's literally what those people believe in.

By the end of the game the protagonist is more irredeemable than most characters in Rockstar games history but the game behaves as if the few moral acts you do given the choice repay for it.

Reading about the SA girlfriends and then this comes up regarding Michelle:

I feel this would've been even more discussed than Hot Coffee if it actually made it into the game files lmao
There's a unused car blowjob animation in GTA SA.
Now, in GTA V there's something similar if you take the hookers at their houses.

R* is the gift that keeps on giving.

The GTA:O design document dates back to May of 2001, which shows R*'s ambition for GTA then. I know GTA3 had a couple multiplayer modes midway into its PC development before being axed, so I would think GTA:O then would've been a standalone title.

Adding payment methods, would that has been a monthly MMO like World at Warcraft? I would imagine that the prototype for an online environment in GTA would've been complicated for newer players. Something like this for San Andreas instead of III could've taken off that concept at the time.

The leak going public was apparently because someone didn't like a collector named "John Doe" price gouging the leaked content. Pages up to 125 currently archived already.

The Profiteering of R*'s Collecting Scene

Introduction

This post is intended to spread content freely to the community and as a sign of protest against a certain individual who goes by "john doe", notorious in the Rockstar Games collectors' groups.

This shady individual has been able to secure a lot of content over the years from ex-developers, ranging from design assets to sensitive documents, acting as a fence to protect the identities of the ex-developers who got greedy to begin with - he certainly hasn't been shy about flexing as much either!

His M.O. has been to either promise others content that he didn't own at an increased price based on another posting, or buying stuff for cheap and then reselling it at 10x the price. He's a known fence for illegal stolen content from Rockstar and his greed has caused previous leaks, such as those of the Manhunt 1 & 2 early builds.

Greed

John Doe has proudly flexed his contacts, his insight and the stuff he's been able to gather for years. He's also engaged in further illegal acts, such as requesting personal identification documents from buyers during sales, while claiming that he's interested in the security of said assets.

Of course, we all know that's all a lie because even if he plays victim, as if he's giving back to the community by selling stolen documents, game builds and press kits and making it possible only under secrecy by saying that if anything leaks "he'd lose his hard earned trust and contacts", the man is not at all concerned with security, legality or even morals...
He could have chosen the righteous path of releasing the content freely for the community to access, or at the very least, abide by his promise of exclusivity towards the buyers.

Instead, John Doe has been cleverly interacting with different members of our community from different groups, making sure to never sell the same thing to the same group. A man worried about keeping things secret would certainly avoid such risks, no?

Well, John Doe has instead been profiting massively for YEARS by selling and reselling content to many members and gouging the market by offering higher or lower prices depending on whoever he's offering to.

Select ex-developers have made a killing off his sales while being entirely protected with him acting as a fence. John Doe has easily made tens of thousands of dollars, often times reselling the same asset priced at e.g. 2k dollars to 5 different parties.

That cannot stand AND shouldn't stand any longer - John Doe has done enough damage, to his buyers, to Rockstar and to our whole community, by being a greed-driven, deeply irresponsible bad faith actor who thinks of themselves as the Robin Hood of stolen property, giving back to select few from our community, while really actually being the town's slut for anyone who can pay the price.

Today John Doe's assets will be devalued as he won't be able to resell them any longer for profits, so to the community, here you may have internal documents for GTA San Andreas, GTA Advance, GTA Vice City Stories and last but not least, a GTA Online design document dated 2001.

A Christmas gift for the community:

I know that at this point they still considered the old GTA 2 logo for GTA III, but god it feels weird to see GTA Online in this logo style.

And hey, seeing something close to the modern GTA Online logo even back then is weird to me as well.

This seems way more like an RPG or immersive sim of sorts to me. I guess it makes sense since III was the one to have the most freedom when it came to taking missions.
I feel this would've been even more discussed than Hot Coffee if it actually made it into the game files lmao
The news articles would be fucking hilarious. What could have been.
I think Cayo Perico changed a lot. Sure they patched out a lot of grinding tricks, but it's fine now. Plus, stuff like The Contract missions, nightclubs, selling weapons and drug running allows for a ton of passive income.

It's (The Oppressor Mark 2) also in general just the best vehicle for grinding. Fast, can fly, and takes a lot to break.
Went back to GTA Online on PS5, and It REALLY isn't that bad. I decided to transfer my last gen account. With only 500k, level 38 (and an oppressor mark 1 that i won from a wheelspin). My main goal was to buy a Kosatka and that one helicopter that can be stored in it. That comes to 4 million.

The Cluckin Bell heist was my saviour. 500k (750k on first completion), can be done from rank 0, no cooldowns unlike Cayo and pretty easy to do. Only reason why I think cayo is better is the setups (god that getaway vehicle setup is such a pain in the ass, then again i am driving on snow which fucks my handling)

Hell, you don't even need it, since most either have the criminal enterprise starter pack on PC and last gen, or an easy 4 million dollars on each character created on PS5 and XBS.

As for the Oppressor MK 2, there are a few assholes that use it to target people, but it's easy to just join a new session.
