This game had cost billions to develop. There is something seriously wrong with AAA development. I'm convinced something is going very, very wrong at Rockstar right now. Development hell, probably. It could be that a ton of important people who knew RAGE left the company, and now nobody knows how to develop on the engine.

Oh, that's another possibility too. I believe they outsourced some development to India. They must have some talent because of the frequent GTA Online maintenance and updates.

I'm sure they've been sitting on GTA VI for a while because of the massive success known as GTA Online. The leaks look like they came from a PS4 dev kit (in one of them, the PS4 dashboard was shown.) No doubt it'd be 80-100 dollars because they're expected to make that two billion back. Has a CONSOLE even made that money back? Actually, let me rephrase that, I think MWII made a billion dollars after launch.

GTA V is soulless slop, San Andreas is the best game Rockstar have ever made. RDR2 is their swansong, the whole studio is now made up of pajeets, trannies and HR femoids, led by a kike. It's over.

Nah, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 proved that most gaymers do not care about progressivism if it's marketed properly no matter how insane. GTA itself already had "messages" but not in the obnoxious way known as "Woke"

I’m putting my bet on game-breaking bugs that are making the last gen launch of Cyberpunk 2077 look like a perfectly stable game.

Though considering this game has been in some form of development hell for god only knows how long, and the fact they’ve spent the GDP of a small country on it? I don’t care how well it sells, this game isn’t breaking even, unless the Multiplayer and all it’s MTX are there from Day 1. I don’t think this console generation has the legs for that many sales, and I imagine sticker shock for the Next Gen PS6/whatever name Xbox uses will make that crowd even smaller for the inevitable Next-Gen port.

I think it's going to make all the money it's supposed to, but it's going to be humorless slop that sucks. Most will know this deep down when they play it, but most won't be able to admit it, even to themselves.

The last newish game I truly loved was Elden Ring, and I still thought the DLC was kind of disappointing, even though it had zero woke BS at all.

It will never cease to amaze me just how much goodwill Rockstar burned. They had a historic opening day that the video game industry will never see again with the release of GTA V. They then turned around and spat in their fans face with how they handled GTA Online and the development of the new game.

At least point I will definitely not being play this game no matter how it turns out.

Agreed in everything but gunplay. IV's shooting is way more punchy, although that could be just the sound effects. Aiming in IV console is godawful however.

The cop chase mechanics were the best in 4. The way 5 spawned in new cops and how they would aimbot you in the head was obnoxious. This is probably due to the different ways 4 and 5 cull assets due to the difference in map size.

It won't matter. Their money maker is GTAO. The main character could be a gay disabled tranny nigger and they'll still make bank off of MTX and people purchasing the game for the multiplayer. I'm sure the monetization will be even worse since they have the opportunity to build the online from the ground up with parting retards from their money through MTX this time around.
