I just watched the new trailer and what a borefest. The game is like a generic action movie, that is taken from a straight to video movie you find in the bargain bin at the one dollar store.

If it was up to me, Lucia would a 1930s era pre-code White woman with her legs as the focus. Maybe named Martha.I see this as "mystery meat manfaced woman is obvious DIE appeasement and fat asses are safe horny"
Never change, @The Last StandIf it was up to me, Lucia would a 1930s era pre-code White woman with her legs as the focus. Maybe named Martha.
We've seen gameplay from the leaks, and it's not really impressive. It's pretty much just GTA5.5 but with a new skin. They will have to really lean into Vice City nostalgia or by trying to sell this game to porn addicts(hence all the ass shots in the trailer) since the gameplay itself isn't worth the 10+ year wait.2 billions and 15 years later, and not a single shred of gameplay beneath every trailer.
Somebody should provide a name to those Cyberpunk-esque rugpulls.
It looks more Ubisoft than it does Grand Theft Auto to meI just watched the new trailer and what a borefest. The game is like a generic action movie, that is taken from a straight to video movie you find in the bargain bin at the one dollar store.
I don't know about that. Cyberjunk 2077 definitely showed a change in the tides.GTA 6 has the biggest hype of any game we've seen in our lifetimes, definitely top 5 at least. They can do whatever the fuck they want and the fanbase will still worship the ground the devs walk on and gunt guard it with all their might from any criticism.
You're absolutely right. That said, I would definitely want to play it Day 1 because I've been waiting ten years for this, granted astroturfed, moment. No other company would be able to get away with it because R* accumulated a LOT OF consumer goodwill with GTA. It would also make or break the gaming industry because of the GDP-like development costs.GTA 6 has the biggest hype of any game we've seen in our lifetimes, definitely top 5 at least. They can do whatever the fuck they want and the fanbase will still worship the ground the devs walk on and gunt guard it with all their might from any criticism. Rockstar knows this, and they've seen how lucrative GTAO was for them, the singleplayer is just a tech demo for the online portion of the game and I bet that will include testing the waters with an online store for the single player portion too. Skins, unique weapons, car deliveries, they can get away with pretty much anything since the modern gamer is used to the online stores being the norm in games.
There we go, this is what I am talking about. How old would this guy be now, like 80? I know the HD games take place in their own universe, but still, don't like them depending on memberberries to get people to buy this.View attachment 7325226
Huh, they brought Phil Cassidy back. With two arms no less.
I think we can easily bet with real money on the game not running at 60FPS lmfaoThere is no fuckin way the PS5 can run something that looks even remotely close to the graphics in that trailer. Just more bullshots for an inevitably mediocre movie game. They spent too much time and money on this monstrosity of a project. No way it isn't a mismanaged disaster. Imagine what a shit show it is to work at Rockstar. We saw how Assassin's Creed Shadow turned out. Get ready for a 5 hour long credits sequence at the end.
Isn't this the first female playable character in GTA?trailer needed some “personality” from the characters, thats what made gta5 so good. I love Trevor. This was just action->sex-> setting change in a repeatjng cycle
i was thinking about some point break-bonnie and clyde mixmatch but this aint. it only needed the student deals storyline to be fucking saints row reboot.trailer needed some “personality” from the characters, thats what made gta5 so good. It's also proof that the gaming industry is running out of ideas. Compare the technical leaps from GTA 1 to GTA 3, then GTA 3 to GTA SA, then GTA 3/SA to GTA IV, and finally GTA IV to GTA V. The real test, from a technological perspective, would be if it could handle all those assets in a open-world with 4K and 60 fps minimum with minimum loading. It's pretty much just GTA5.5 but with a new skin. The game isn't for gamers. It's for twitch streamers and rockstar partners to shill shark cards to their followers.I don't know about that. Cyberjunk 2077 definitely showed a change in the tides.
But you're right in that probably mainstream livestreamer faggots will eat it up like slop no matter how many shining nuggets are contained within the shit they drop out of their asses.
No idea why they're bringing back Phil, unless that guy is Phil's son, but I don't remember him having a wife in GTA:VC, or if he even survived to the end of the game. I could see them doing something lazy like that for the memberberries unless that's just straight up Phil with some sort of cyborg or cloned arm. There we go, this is what I am talking about. How old would this guy be now, like 80? I know the HD games take place in their own universe, but still, don't like them depending on memberberries to get people to buy this.
Technically not, you can chose a female character in GTAO if I recall. Hell, I think you could do that in GTA 4's online mode and even that weird split screen mode in GTA San Andreas I was talking about.Isn't this the first female playable character in GTA?
...certified woman moment...
No, GTA 1 allowed you to pick characters to play as. A couple of them were women. Whether canon or not, I do not know.Isn't this the first female playable character in GTA?
