After the new trailer I have no doubt that Rockstar are going to push the ps5 gen of consoles to the brink the same way they did with the PS3 and GTA V, it looks very polished but then again we haven't seen gameplay itself.
Forget the consoles, how optimized or demanding the inevitable PC port would be? I fully expect this game to be downgraded come May. This would probably be a 200GB title at the least because of the high quality textures and streaming technology.

Rockstar is pozzed now, so what's the point? GTA is irrelevant without its classic offensive, irreverent humor. It'll be blatantly pro-migrant, pro-black, pro-faggot, pro-troon.
It will be interesting to see just how much of it will be there, if nothing else. No matter how bad or on the nose it will get, R* fans will eat it up, and I am all here for mocking them for it.

The question to be asking is if all the bullshit streaming technology and super high quality textures will actually make the gameplay as good as GTA V or superior. That's a high thing to aspire to and AFAIK none of the 200 GB+ games so far have really delivered much improvement in gameplay compared to previous generations (I could be wrong since I don't play faggot games to begin with)

Driver really wasn't the first in 3D. I know its a bullshit title anyway to autism argue over but there were games before driver that experimented with 3D or 3D-like environments and a somewhat sandbox environment.

There were also some non-mainstream games from what I remember that were similar in genre to all of this.

Man I played the Carmageddon games for so many hours way back when...

Like I said, give me a call. But nobody wants to hear my ideas.

Watching some faggot called TCG's stream of the trailer. I see a lot of thirst posting for the spic bitch, which is hilarious. This dude is claiming that Rockstar doesn't do pre-rendered cutscenes so this is allegedly what the gameplay will at least look like graphics-wise.

I'm also of the opinion that Jason is a cop and will end up dying on some "Usual Suspects" shit.

All confirmed Bossmanjack references in the 2nd trailer:

Interesting. If you pay really close attention in the new trailer, it looks like there are RPG mechanics like San Andreas again. It's hinted at. Notice how Jason and Lucia have different physiques throughout the trailer. In some parts, they have noodle-arms, and in others, huge definition. Look at Lucia's back when she's wearing the dress, and then, that shot inside the plane's landing gear where she's morphed into a Scary Varbie Latina Goblina. Also, we see Jason lifting.

I'm betting they brought back CJ-style "go to the gym for stat progression" mechanics. Of course, I could be full of shit, and this is just how they appear at linear points throughout the game, but that would be disappointment. What's the point of realtime cutscenes if you can't goof around by having a character look ridiculous in them?

I thought I saw some slight framerate dips and artifacts which made it feel like it wasn't pre-rendered but I'm not 100% sure. I'm not even sure what framerate the video is recorded in to make that assertion though (I was watching on max resolution)

You joyless fags would've said the same about the GTA 5 trailer, eww black protagonist they're doing 3 protagonists to shoehorn a DEI character in!
Oh my god the story is so generic, a retired bank robber? Booooring.

It was a good trailer, the world looks filled with possibilities, far more than in GTA 5.

That's pretty fair to say but when GTA V was being teased which was like 40 years ago we hadn't endured decades of slop and overhyped releases.
GTA V trailers started coming out in late 2011 - for comparison Far Cry 3 released after that, then Far Cry Blood Dragon, then Far Cry 4, then Far Cry 5, and finally Far Cry 6.

So the world has changed a lot. You really can't blame people for being cynical. Especially with the way that Cockstar dealt with GTA:O.

Quite honestly, more black and latino characters make sense in GTA, since it's a game about crime.
