Just pray its not gonna be an always online game, so you can stick to the single player. If GTA6 is an always online game, its DOA. Because its gonna be monetized from hell and back, and all the snake sales man tricks in the book are gonna be used to cash in. The worst thing GTA got was the online mode, it stopped Rockstar from making new games.
That's why I wished they'd just set aside a single team and make GTA/Red Dead Online it's own thing separately and give single player games their own time and teams. Instead of making a new online for every installment.
But I guess that's what Call of Duty tried doing with Warzone and there hasn't been a good Call of Duty single player campaign in their last several releases because they clearly don't give a shit about single player, so I don't think Rockstar would do any different.

I call it the Blizzard effect. Blizzard used to make games, great games, on a good time schedule. Then they made WoW and game got massive, really massive. It's hard to comprehend in the modern day just how huge of game that was and how many people played it for hours and hours.
Blizzard monetised it with a subscription service, if not the first, certainly the most popular idea.

Once that subscription money started to roll in, they were making more in a month than they used to do to in a year across several releases. So Blizzard stopped making games and focused on WoW and DLC.

After a while, a long, while, people began to tire of WoW and wanted something new. When Blizzard was asked "so where's Diablo 3?" their response was "What 3?"
What followed was panic in the ranks as Blizzard realised they had created nothing because they sat on arse thinking the money would roll in forever with minimum effort. We all know what happened next.

Every studio that has prioritsed online over single player has suffered the same fate. CoD, Fifa (no longer fifa) Battlefield to a lesser extent, A throng of nfl/nhl sportsball games, command and conquer, RDR and myriad others.

Would it be a shock to anyone if R* are making GTA online to launch alongside GTA6 and that there will be portions of the game/city locked behind online only content? Combine that with Sony and Microsoft officially stating that console sales no longer matter and what counts is MAU, they want people to be playing online (so that they can be tracked) as much as R* and the rest of the industry.

Diablo 3 was probably in production at Blizzard North before WoW was released . Wish we would of gotten the Blizz North version of the game

The actual parade will be an unplayable cutscene, and all the fag flag assets will disable your ability to fire your weapons when you're looking directly at it like the synagogue in The Last of Us.

It's also possible that R* will add Denuvo anti-tamper and a kernel-level anti-cheat to "prevent" disabling or changing those features. Even single-player games aren't safe any more from the kernel-level anti-cheat madness.

That would mean killing off any and all modding and that's not how it works. Once modders figure out how to work with VI's flavor of RAGE there'll be "de-woke" mods and the usual dance and song revolving around them. I get that the vidya culture war is reaching comical levels like everything else but this is getting ridiculous. If this was some indie project developed by a troon yes, they could be this spiteful. Not with a multi-million dollar production where anti-cheat and anti-tamper is only meant to deal with securing the bag on GTAO Shark card flaying and any and all measures that would prevent you from doing a homosexual holocaust would only be there on the surface level to not upset anyone on the vanilla release, and once the modding starts then it'll be a free-for-all where R* won't care if you remove these limits or not. Who will care is faggots like Robin Scott of NexusMods and other braindead cunts that won't let you modify your game the way you see fit, which is the entire point of modding.

realistically it'll be like the ac shadows thing where you can destroy the shrines but youre a piece of shit for doing that and the game calls you out on it and acts accordingly. yes you can shoot at the gay parades but your ass is getting shot at by a dozen cops in the process because its still a crime to kill people in the game's logic

That would be just fine, but that would be treating the faggots like everyone else and you know there's going to be article after article crying that rockstar is courting transphobes and homophobes or whatever gay shit.
And Rockstars track record as of late tells me the penalty of killing their precious faggots is going to be more severe than killing cops or hookers.
However if I'm wrong, and I hope I am, it deserves GOTY if I can fire rocket launchers at the fairy parade.

I can see this happening and a bunch of retards will have a shit fit just like they did with the gay district of New York featuring rainbow flags in Spider-Man.
people werent having a shit fit just because every flag in nigger spiderman was a gay flag, people were having a shit fit because the guy who made the mod to remove them had the mod banned from everywhere and then it was revealed that all the mod did was make the game think you were playing the middle east version and the game itself changed the flags for you

I could just see the Synthetic Man GTA VI video showing a PRIDE parade and him being Pikachu'd and ranting about the "mission failed" state or increased wanted level reaction.

1. I specifically remember SSJ Ness losing it because the flags were there at all.

2. You weren't even here when it happened.

This isn't even getting into the other areas of the internet where I saw it.

I don't get it.

I don't get it.
Follow the money. No point in using Denuvo Anti-Tamper to not let you mod out the safeguards that don't let you kill NPC's at the gay parades. A company like T2 will approach it in a much more pragmatic way: Denuvo Anti-Tamper for GTAO, basic in-engine checks for DEI brownie points.

Besides, the game isn't out yet and all this speculation about you not being able to kill the gays comes from the exact same spastics that don't even play games but have the most to say about them. The horseshoe theory opposites of the Sarkeesians and Quinns. The double digit IQ mongoloids that were the reason Gamergate failed and this cancer was able to proliferate through games so much. The other side of the joykills that everyone is sick and tired of that can never take a hint or learn from their past mistakes.

That's why I was saying those people were worried about the wrong things with GTA VI. What would they do, scour the code to see if there's a special parameter within that hypothetical event?

They did something similar with Red Dead Online. Modders used to spawn KKK NPCs from the single player into the online mode. Rockstar then patched out those NPCs from Red Dead Online after community outcry.

I was going to specify Hot Coffee for San Andreas, but people found a way around that restriction by downgrading their San Andreas copy. And, San Andreas did not have an online mode.
