Do people really need to be told that these recent "leaks" are just AI generated or do people just want to be mad for no reason?

I've come to discover over the past 5 years that like 75-90% of people are actual fucking retards who can't spot fake shit even when their life depends on it. (which is how so many of them get scammed all the fucking time)

Seriously, even five years ago the majority of people I'd meet couldn't spot a filter in an instagram pic. These same people are always getting fooled by obvious AI generated movie and game trailers and shit now.

These people vote and dictate the direction of our countries, hobbies and societies.

Can we break away from them?

It's the Mikey update.

Looks like there may be a heist? But I wouldn't be surprised if it's just a few missions as they've been known to do recently.

Best part is that after six months of seeing retards cream their pants over being able to own a mansion, there isn't a single mansion featured.

I'm not a big GTAO fan, but seeing Michael again was nice. If this is the final big GTAV update of any kind, it's fitting it ends with the guy who started it over a decade ago.

I would've thought the final GTA Online update would be at the film studio where ALL the futuristic shit was just for a movie. It'd make sense in a meta way. Of course, there's still a year before GTA VI.

Playing through GTA5 single player again, it's been a while. I'm actually enjoying the story itself, but, and it's been mentioned before i'm sure, the plot really just drizzles away after "Bury the Hatchet".

I'll even go a step further and say that you could've removed Franklin entirely and the story would've improved - It'd be your typical R* "Past choices coming back to haunt you" story with Michael and Trevor.

Characterization is all over the place, too. I took my time and did a lot of Friend Activities, Hang Outs, etc. And while a lot of them do reveal a lot of interesting tidbits about the characters, most of the time they're also needlessly... Mean spirited? There's banter and then there's not letting up. Everyone constantly shits on everyone else, and it's only the post-game Hang Outs that seem to be somewhat more amicable, and while it does make sense to have those after the drama's over, them being like these most of the game gives me the impression that these characters aren't friends at all.

This one's definitely a more recent pet-pive, didn't have issues with it the first time i played, but i can't fucking stand sarcasm anymore. R*'s way of doing parody is taking a superficial look at something and repeating it back the same way your 14 yo pothead buddies would. But you'd know what their actual stance is when they have characters break off for a scene. (Niko Bellic, cynical yokel from rural Serbia, skeptic about the American way of life and self-proclaimed angry macho killer breaking out of nowhere into a speech about how we should respect the gays because *insert upper class american/european liberal opinions here*)

On a smaller note, if the writers for GTA 6 are the same ones writing GTAO currently, shit's gonna suck.

Vice City played in a browser. Gameplay starts at 4:52.

This probably shouldn't be a big deal for me at this point, but like...my computer couldn't run this game back in 2003. Now I can play it in a web browser?
I guess it really does go to show that if GTA VI really sticks with their alleged $100 price tags by release time, then I hope this project stays alive enough to actually get installed on my own web browser.

They'd then have to rewrite the story as if Franklin never existed or just have him as a supporting character. Maybe have Franklin and Lamar as their own story DLC. I'm sure R* had Franklin as a mandatory call back to San Andreas. I don't even think Franklin is an unnecessary character, just underdeveloped compared to Michael and Trevor.

God now Ned's gonna talk about this nonstop for the next 10+ years too.
It's interesting to watch both Ned Luke and Steven Ogg's reaction to GTA. Ogg just treats it like any other role and wants to move past it and do other things, Ned never shuts the fuck up about it and will blab your ear off telling the same stories over and over again, like an old man living in the glory of yesteryear.
He truly is Michael Townley.

They really aren't though.

Michael and Franklin are more master and apprentice than equals. Michael and Trevor were friends but M uses people and T is so incredibly unbalanced that you're okay when he considers you a friend and a walking deadman when he considers you a threat. The thing is T says he really doesn't care after the last mission if you pick to save both T and M, and that he didn't even really like Brad in any event, so he just kind of let's M's betrayal go, but what happens when T gets ticked off at M at some point? M has to realize that hanging out with T is just playing with fire. F and T don't seem like they would be friends because other than taking down a few scores they have nothing in common. F wants out of the life and to go legit and T wants to keep taking down scores and running guns and drugs just for the rush. T and Lamar have more in common than T and F. Even F and Jimmy are closer in age, but all Jimmy seems to want to do is play gangster or bitch about his dad to F and F has to get sick of it.

From a game play standpoint it seems like the friend stuff is just there for something to do between missions.
