Come again? :cringe:

Are you telling me the mobile version has microtransactions or am I missing something?
Sorry, let me explain. You know how in III, there's two missions that are locked behind money to unlock? Bomb da Base requires $100,000. The Exchange requires $500,000.

In Vice City, there are assets and properties that Tommy Vercetti can buy. The assets (Malibu Club, Boatyard, Cherry Popper Ice Cream, Pole Position, car dealership) have missions tied to them. You need to complete three (four?) assets to unlock the final two missions.

The game does not make that clear, aside from an Avery call after obtaining Diaz's Scarface mansion.

Oh lmao I thought you were fucking saying they required you to purchase some damn cars or some shit on the mobile version to progress. Shows that I'm not lying about playing through the campaign. I didn't even know that, and if I did I forgot about it.

I don't think you could direct buy the mobile versions anymore. Either GTA+ or Netflix.

Rockstar Games will require age verification for GTA Online starting next week in Australia. This will roll out to more regions over the coming months and will also apply to GTA 6’s Online mode when it launches 😱

Been playing through GTAIV since I haven’t touched it in 15 years. And I don’t see how VI will have a sliver of this type of character building and story/dialogue/characters.

It’ll be interesting to see if the writers of GTAO can make anything remotely interesting for VI.

Seem Zelnick need more money because for a limited time anyone who has GTA+ will have access to the full NBA 2K26 game and are given free high tier cards and some VC to get started with MyTeam/MyCareer.
Very bad timing since that NBA 2K26 has an unaddressed cheating problem in its P2W modes. Not even for its full lifecycle, just for a month or so. Very cheap of them.

Now it’s slowly spreading: Arion Kurtaj (the infamous 2022 Grand Theft Auto VI leaker) has allegedly smuggled a phone into a UK prison. While I won’t share screenshots of the WhatsApp chats (I’m sure they’ll appear soon), Arion appeared surprised that the source code for Grand Theft Auto VI did not leak and seemed to imply that the source code may potentially be in the hands of someone. (A)

Here's the messages on GTAVI:
I am avoiding sending screenshots since I don't want any DMCA takedown (A)

according to the GTA6 leaker who is currently in jail, the source code for GTA6 is in the hands of a third-party. i, personally, think it's a load of shit.

After RDR2? Absolutely not, it will no doubt be preachy, bad faith bullshit to push some propaganda forward. GTA 4 really did peak as far as GTA storytelling went.

I remember I could never finish GTA VC back in the day because I had no idea what I needed to do at that point to progress the story.

I thought my copy of Vice City was bugged when I was ten because I couldn't advance, I didn't know about the ice cream company, and further more I didn't know I had to complete the taxi missions.

Finally beating Vice City over a decade later felt like a bittersweet victory
