Anyone watch this guy? He's been on Youtube for about a decade. Mostly reviews old action and adventure games. He also composes his own music (industrial/EBM).

I like his sense of humor and he provides some actual insight, but sometimes he can't help himself and voices his lame political views (racism, sexism, yadda yadda, the usual lefty sentiments). Also, he receives decent Patreon $$$ now, so his recent videos are way too long and he releases them at increasingly longer intervals.

He also used to review episodes of Supernatural in chronological order. He stopped doing that because Youtube doesn't care about Fair Use, so he'd get DMCA'd numerous times.

What I've gathered over the years: he's about 37, lives near San Jose and is short and weak; used to be so broke that he had to move from one tiny apartment to another; his dad left when he was little; loves The X-Files, Twin Peaks, Skinny Puppy, Sisters Of Mercy, American McGee's Alice, Nocturne and rats; considers himself a white knight (this is straight from the horse's mouth); seems to have commie sympathies, although he doesn't talk about it that much, fortunately; left Twitter for Bluesky because he doesn't care much for freedom of speech; paints his nails.

Recommended videos: Gothos, Condemned, Stygian, VTMB, Dark Seed/Dark Seed 2. The best "era" IMO is between Manhunt 2 (new) and Nox (old).

I've watched his videos for a long time. His early videos show his room is full of funko pops and collectors items.

These youtubers will never know what a real struggle to make a living is and how privileged they are to make even minor living off of sperging about video games and the evils of capitalism/'the industry' on the internet.

I enjoy his autustic takes about walking simulators unironically though.

I stumbled upon him by YT algorithm that probably assumed that Civvie or MrEdders provide similar content.

He is definitely putting much effort into his videos. I have to say that there is some potential in this format that he adopted. I don't mind his political agenda as long he won't be pushing it in his videos.

So far I feel entertained with his production value.

Same, channel came up in my feed a while ago, liked the early videos and was working my way through the backlog and noticed him throwing in more and more comments about troonery and stopped watching. If you are pro tranny thats great, good for you, but I really don't want to see that shit in my funny vidya content.

Not videogame related but same thing happened with Beige Frequency if anyone watches him. Been watching his stuff for years and recently he has been putting more and more pro-tranny shit in his videos like random comments about trans folx being heckin valid and criticising stand-up comedians for making "bigoted" jokes about trannies. Stopped watching his stuff. The fact that someone who came from the O&A side is now on the troon bandwagon is wild to me, guess he got a bad case of trolls remorse or something.

To be fair, he did struggle to make ends meet until about a year ago. Now he's at 3700 Patrons with $1.50 minimum, so he's probably doing fine.

Yup. Thats definitely the same guy. He cropped up in my feed a couple of times afterwards, but he's since had the "do not recommend channel" treatment.

Its worked like a charm for the past 4-5 years. When they're gone, they stay gone. I remember reading somewhere that it had a greater impact on a channel and how they function in the algorithm than any like/dislike or comment. Is that true? Who knows, but it can't hurt to try.

If you’re into more niche weebshit he’s lived in Japan long enough to engage with some JP only titles that are pretty cool to hear about also. I think he mentioned in a video he was a fan of Grim and kinda went for his videos style so I guess he figured out what was annoying about them also.

I like his videos but he needs to stop teasing us and just troon out so we can start roasting him in earnest. I stopped giving him any slack when he was bitching in some video about having gratuitous tits and ass in some game while his intro contains scenes of tiddies bouncing around. Total hypocrite piece of shit. But, his videos are very thorough and high production value and he mostly plays games with no real gameplay so I can enjoy the story and atmosphere of a game without having to actually deal with "playing" it.
