Grinding gears.

I cant tell what changed though, I mean I was looking at Youtube comments this morning and they were just as moronic as usual.

It's pretty likely your looking at comments pre-change. Now to be able to comment you need a Google+ account, and there's a lot more comment censorship. A lot of people just ditched it.

Hey, if you think old YT comments are moronic, that's cool. For the most part I agree. But I'd take moronic over obnoxiously phony any day, personally.

Here's an example of one of those rant vids I mentioned, three points I gotta make, 1. Is Vash from Trigun supposed to be commenting on internet shit? 2. We know Chris is stupid, no one needs to make a video pointing it out 3. This is such an, "I'm Better than Chris because" video, well all Chris rants are. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3ESKfuh ... IJe4o7oVCQ

Yeah, the Chris rants and commentaries are unneeded, especially with the ones A-Log made(though there was a rant or two on Chris that I did like).

People who say "irregardless".

Online ads, especially the ones that are obnoxiously loud and/or can't be muted. I often listen to music in a separate tab, and I can't stand it whenever an ad starts playing over top of it.

The phrase "God people suck." I hear it a lot, it sounds whiny and it's just an annoying phrase.

The phrase "proud fans" of stuff. You aren't doing anything other than liking and supporting something. It's not your accomplishments.

Holy shit just look at the comment section! 'I HATE CHRIS FOR MY OWN PERSONAL REASONS THAT KU KLUX BACKWOODS RETARD SHOULD DIE!'

Autism much, commenters? *yawn*

When you get invested with a video game and end up getting a really shitty payoff. Like maaayybeee you were hyped for a expanded edition of a game in a series that you love and you asked for a preorder for your birthday. And then maybe all that extra content you were drooling over came in the form of download codes and weren't on the disc at all. And then maybe you spent seven hours on an HD copy of a former handheld game that was a part of the download package, and then found the story to be a horrible, congealed mess of tropes and missed opportunities but you spent all that time unlocking every secret in the game so you could get the best ending and then that ending turned out to be fifteen seconds long and had one fucking word of dialogue. So now you have two copies of the same game, a digital copy of a game that burned you, and the demo for an upcoming sequel that you could have downloaded for free anyway and the only pissing thing you have to show for it as extra couple hundred Gamerscore and the memory of Alucard jumping out a window while Simon Fucking Belmont stares into the sun like a barely functional window to hell and says "farewell" and the game doesn't even give you a middling "congraturation," it's just game over, cocksucker, Konami just took a messy dump on your stupid chest while you were sleeping and then had the audacity to blame the dog.

Fuck you, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Collection.

Computer viruses. Normally I wouldn't mention them since I've had a Mac for the past two years and figured I wouldn't run into this problem anymore, but nope. Just yesterday I got this stupid thing and it actually fooled me for a few moments. Fortunately it was easy enough to remove.

Having clicked that link, I'm disturbed at what was flashed from the virus, especially since it was to a 17 year old.

You know when you have a few tabs open and all of a sudden a commercial starts playing in one of them? Try watching an episode on a streaming site only to pause and find where the sound is coming from? I don't mind ads or banners, even ads before videos, but autoplay ads with sounds are beyond forgiveness.

I was a kid in the 90's and I get nostalgic for it too...but the high and mighty 90's nostalgics on youtube are huge assholes. A teenager in 2013 hasn't heard of "Animaniacs"? Boo fucking hoo...people can't help when they were born. Also, every generation thinks they're awesome and the others suck. When the 90's were happening people that grew up in the 70's were thinking the same things. Only difference, no youtube back then.

I agree with you so much. The autoplay ads are annoying to no end, especially since they advertise a product that not everyone is interested in.

I grew up in the era of LA Knight sneakers and Janet Reno, and I'm kinda glad those days are done.

When I'm in traffic and I slip from third to first, that really grinds my gears.

One of my favorite games is Metroid Prime, and it's rated T. I remember once I was talking to a guy about it, and he was like, "Yeah, but it's only rated T. What's the point?"

I don't see anything you could have added to bump it up to an M without detracting from the game.

I love Metroid too. :heart-full:

If a game is done well the rating doesn't matter so much.
