As hilarious as the idea may be, best not to actively attempt to troll Enter.

He's spergy enough as it is and gives enough content. If anything it would just give him a legitimate reason to hate us beyond "We don't like how he does things and we gave legitimate criticism about his poorly conceived cartoon." If you let him grow in ego with GA, some other ween or trolling website with far lower standards and less accountability will do it for us.

Or he'll actually have a real executive tell him flat out that GA sucks.

Either way, he spergs and we laugh. Win-win, and no extra effort on our part.

I wasn't going to do it right away, gotta wait for his ego to inflate. The bigger it gets, the better it'll be.

I'm surprised this hasn't been posted yet but here's Enter's latest Growing Around script. Check out the totally original title here.

So, admittedly, I've never actually read a GA script in its entirety since watching paint dry is generally more entertaining, and this one is no exception but...

Has Sally ALWAYS been that much of a brat? Like, I swear, in an actual realisric scenario some kid would've punched her in the face right about now.

That being said, from what I skimmed, its the usual fish out of water scenario. Generic and bleh. I am happy they turned Gumdrops into a motorcycle, though. Way too bored to read the entire script, so I'm gonna assume it crashes and explodes.

I made character redesigns of the growing around cast (including the pony) but they were so mind bendingly retarded (Timmy has a lobster claw now) so I won't post it, but I will post the sketch of the pony

It's skinny and weird because all they feed it is sugar cubes and it never leaves the house.

That actually looks pretty good. I would still like to see the other ones. It looks way more intetesting than anything i have seen from GA.

I'm pretty sure somebody already brought this up, but here's my biggest question regarding Growing Around.

Why is Mr. Enter being so hasty to pitch it to an actual TV network rather than actually going with the idea of making it a web series first BEFORE trying to pitch it to a TV network? I mean, unless Mr. Enter is simply doing this for the money, he'd probably be making a smarter move by making this train wreck a web series first before anything else. I mean, let's be serious now, the chances of a TV network of any kind actually picking this show up are grim. Locked away is any chance for this show to actually succeed in any form on actual television.

Well, I don't think I know anyone that would watch a family-oriented "slice of life" web series. A TV show, maybe. But a web series doesn't usually deal with family as a main focus. (At least none that I've heard of.) That's probably why he wants to pitch this to a network first, because the concept just wouldn't work as a web series.

Being entirely serious here? Enter has an ego, and he does genuinely believe that GA is high quality work and that someone'll pick it up.

Doesn't help that he surrounds himself in an echo chamber and a hugbox and he dismisses any other criticism. Whether it's denial or downright delusion, he was pretty hellbent on getting it greenlit for TV. I think it took Nayolfa to convince him to lower his expectations a bit.

And even then, we're not sure if Enter is or if he's still aiming for that spot in the big leagues.

Even if his show got greenlit, if enter knew about making a show, he'd quit the moment they'd say they'll need new writers, hire better voice actors(after a pilot, they'll find a new crew for that and fire the old one usually, and expect content they want. Like if it was around the time they'd make green aesop episodes, they'd expect an environmental message in the show. That will never happen. It would be wiser if he had this as a web show. There's more creative freedom as a web show. I'd recommend him uploading the pilot on YouTube first as a test for the audience. It could suck or be as decent as a bitter fruit.

Back when he started this project, his main thing was that it would be like "Flip-Flopped", only the kids act like kids and the adults act like adults. He really hasn't followed through with this. The kids speak in the same manner the adults do, only with occasional Rugrats-speak thrown in (Like 'betterer') They don't act like kids, either. They act like stereotypes of children, they all love candy, hate vegetables, etc. nothing to make them unique like a real child. But then on other occasions, they're way too mature to make me believe they're actually children. Timmy has a big, important job, and treats it way too seriously for me to think he's a kid. The adults are even worse, stereotypes of 'grown ups'. They like to read about the stock-market, watch the news, etc. Again, nothing to make them unique, like a real person. All the characters from each age group are interchangeable with one another. What's the difference between Robert and Linda, aside from their genders? What sets any of these people apart from each other?

Nothing at all, really. They're not really characters at all when you get right down to it. Enter doesn't care about that, though. He just wants them to be as bland and inoffensive as possible. Wouldn't want to trigger anybody, after all.
