Arcsys has been a shitty company even during the BlazBlue days. Did you forget how they gave X-Box owners the middle finger by making them wait longer for Valkenheim while the PS3 owners got to use him? Did you forget how they charged you $30+ for things that were more or less patches that worsened the series? Or how they tried to milk the fuck out of people with a lot of slimy disc-locked content practices in the shitty Tag game? Back in the day, I remember anime fags or even Something Awful Goons telling you to shut the fuck up if god forbid you criticized this company and its shitty practices.

More likely most regular humans didn't want to be that close to the degenerates long enough to do a tranny tourney.

I did some looking; apparently this happened in Ireland. I don't know much about the EU's scene, and I may be wrong, but I can't think of a single notable player from Ireland. I wouldn't be surprised if this was some local or monthly or something, so the competition may not be as heavy as other places. But just the sheer thought of it, having some fucking trans/cis showdown... no... titty-fucking hell, no.

The idea of a CIS vs. Trans exhibition sounds stupid and vulgar. It's sad how fighting game tourneys have come to this because this shouldn't even happen.

I really am not a fan of Strive, but I am a massive Slayer enjoyer.
I'm seriously considering just buying him as a one off. He even looks like he kept his backdash cancels (or some approximation of it). Unlike Johnny or ABA, he looks pretty much as you'd expect. Crosswise Heel got replaced, but he still has Dandy Step proper. Even looks like Helter Skelter came back, as well as a new version of Undertow? Though if so it looks a little wonky.

His air routes look the same, ending with dust and using j.2k as an extender, if significantly shorter.

Still gonna wait for the proper character breakdown release before making a final judgement, but he looks waaay better than I had expected, though my expectations were low.

His theme is great too, but it's missing a saxophone. I'm sure it'll be in there somewhere though when it comes out.

Saw this earlier. Pretty huge, evidently, the entire project is pop open and go in UE5, from what i saw.

I'm curious to see the fallout of this and wonder whether a thread following it might be warranted, though it could be nothing and old news pretty quickly.
