guys, who of you had slave owning ancestors?

No, but the house I grew up in was built on the same spot where a plantation home had been. My family didn’t live there at the time though.

There were slave cabins until my dad tore them down when I was little. At the time I thought they were play houses (I was maybe 4ish when he tore the, down).

My aunt always swore the house was haunted and wouldn’t go inside alone.
How old are you?

My ancestors fought and died on both sides of the Civil War. Some owned slaves before the war. None did after.

A bunch more ancestors probably killed and enslaved each other circa 900 A.D. in the general vicinity of East Anglia.

My Mother has slowly been building our family tree for a few years now and she recently found out that not only were we some of the first American settlers, but we actually had an ancestor that owned 11 slaves. So my Mother's side of the family is pretty based I guess. No clue about my Father's family though.

My maternal grandmother was really into genealogy and while researching some of her ancestors not only found out they had slaves, she found literal receipts for their purchase.

I'd really like to find out if they have any decedents so I can check up on them, see how they turned out.

Seeing as I'm not Jewish it's very unlikely any of my ancestors owned slaves. Given my Anglo German and other European heritage my ancestors if they were over here then they would have been the people that watched over the nigger slaves for the rich Kike in the plantation. The types that would have whipped the niggers for getting out of hand being lazy and so on. The people that would have tracked them down when they tried to escape. The niggers would incorrectly call these people the master or massa. The slave handlers or overseers.

That's probably what my ancestors did if they were involved at all.
