No, there wouldn't. Guard is the "lowest" form of a node, and it's the node you connect to, first. I wouldn't be surprised if many markets had "headless" Tor services and actual backend was proxied to it, in that case feds would find the proxy and from there they would have to find the actual backend.
Markets(and Dread) nowadays run their own guards to maximize security and stability.

Timing. It takes years to collect all the necessary informaiton, they have time.

Its just one of the attack vectors, there is many. Just running a Tor service isn't enough to stay hidden anymore, if you are going against glowies.

In enger Zusammenarbeit mit der #Policia Nacional konnte der Betreiber, ein deutscher Staatsbürger, in seiner Wohnung in Barcelona #verhaftet werden. Daneben wurden je ein Objekt in Hannover, im Landkreis Minden-Lübbecke und - in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Inspectoratul General al #Politiei Romane (IGPR) - im rumänischen Bukarest durchsucht. Neben acht Mobiltelefonen, vier Rechnern und 34 Datenträgern wurden auch Vermögenswerte in Höhe von bislang 7,8 Millionen Euro sichergestellt.

Über Archetyp Market wurden in den vergangenen Jahren mindestens 250 Millionen Euro umgesetzt, insbesondere durch den Handel mit Amphetamin, Cannabis, Fentanyl, Heroin und Kokain. Mit über 2.800 Verkaufsangeboten war es eine der Handelsplattformen mit den meisten deutschen Betäubungsmittelangeboten im Darknet.

Im Anschluss an die Festnahme des Hauptbeschuldigten fanden weitere international koordinierte Durchsuchungen in Deutschland und Schweden statt, die sich insbesondere gegen die Moderatoren und Verkäufer auf der Plattform richtete. Dabei wurden 20 weitere Objekte durchsucht und sieben Personen in Schweden #festgenommen. Die sichergestellten Daten sind Grundlage für weitere internationale Ermittlungen gegen kriminelle Verkäufer und Nutzer der Plattform.

Als Bundeskriminalamt und #ZIT danken wir unseren Partnern in den Niederlanden, Rumänien, Schweden, Spanien und den USA sowie an die beteiligten Polizeibehörden in Bielefeld, Bonn, Bruchsal, Darmstadt-Dieburg, Hannover, Minden-Lübbecke, Oldenburg, Osnabrück und Recklinghausen!

Nah, remember that the government has the ultimate power to regulate which pharmaceuticals are approved, what the "standard of care" is, etc. They are very invested in their system of gatekeeping treatments and drugs using the medical profession, keep people engaging with healthcare services by making them jump through hoops to get any good shit, and use doctors to make people permanent regular consumers of as many pharmaceuticals as possible while hopefully keeping them alive for a while to maximize profit. The money pharmaceutical companies throw around to slant legislation in their favor makes darknet marketplace money look like chump change. The government doesn't like the drug markets where people can just hand over the cash, get the good shit, and call it a day - they want these people instead going regularly to methadone maintenance/safe supply programs, pain clinics, and psychiatry pill mills, which dole out a boatload of pharma-grade alternatives that are far more expensive than whatever illegal substance the user would opt for otherwise.

I don't think people tend to even use darknet marketplaces for that. As far as I'm aware that shit is usually ordered from sketchy Chinese biotech companies that have clearnet sites or price lists and contact information that get passed around via Telegram or Discord. The Chinese government plays whack-a-mole with these places and there are scams galore but when a country tries to crack down on this, they don't bother trying to find and fuck with any domestic warehouses or resellers that may exist, they just get ridiculously strict about having customs inspect and confiscate it. They don't need a skilled IT glownigger for that, trannies aren't choosy about letting people into their Telegram/Discord chats and you always get retards posting unboxing photos and openly discussing the packaging and stealth. Any customs officer who lurks for half an hour then knows precisely what to look for.

Anyway I was going to say people would be better off using Drughub regardless. Mainly because some former White House Market staff are involved with it, I always respected them for closing it without exit scamming or waiting to get fucked by the cops, and I always believed their choice to use XMR and make PGP mandatory was an excellent method of gatekeeping the biggest retards. irl drug crime is nasty because irl drug dealers will feud and fight over turf, and they'll pay very large sums of money to very violent people to do very violent things in order to protect their business interests.
having a bunch of violent criminals making lots of money while also being around hard drugs all day is a recipe for disaster, these types quickly branch out into other criminal shit (robbery, extortion, prostitution, illegal gambling etc) and all of that comes with severe negative side effects on the neighborhood where it happens.

meanwhile the darknet market people sit in their basements staring at screens all day, while trying to avoid any and all criminal interaction with people in real life due to their paranoid nature and obsession with opsec. they don't threaten or inconvenience civilians around them, there's no violence involved, they don't expand into other criminal ventures (except maybe black hat hacking lol) and the only real damage they cause is when they exit scam people out of their bitcoins - which absolutely nobody cares about, people just accept that risk as part of the cost of doing business in this space.
