Harold "Hal" Turner of North Bergen, New Jersey is a former FBI informant, convicted felon, and conservative talk radio host. Many people reading this may know of Turner from the prank call raids and DDOSs Anonymous conducted back in 2006 and 2007, but his story has many more interesting elements to it.
Originally gaining notoriety in political circles as a regular caller to Sean Hannity's radio show and coordinator in Pat Buchanan's 1992 presidential campaign, Turner hosted The Hal Turner Show, which originally ran from 2000 to 2009. The show quickly became infamous for highly polarizing rhetoric that many associated with white nationalism. Additionally, he operated the Turner Radio Network (link archived from 2007), which aired his own show on various low-power FM stations around the country, plus programs from other WNs such as Matt Hale, Paul Gellar, and Jim Wickstrom.
For much of the show's run, he ran a blog at halturnershow.com in which he wrote articles with such titles as "Official records from international Red Cross prove 'holocaust' was fraud" and "Feds grant eminent domain as collateral to China for U.S. debts." Video exists of him at white power rallies giving racially charged speeches against black crime, some of which were included in a CNN interview in which he goes far enough as to support nooses:
Despite all of this, he considered himself (and still does) the "voice of the common man" charged with the mission of, as he says at the beginning of every show, "bringing American talk radio to countries around the world."
In 2009, he was arrested for attempting to incite violence against three federal judges via an editorial posted on his site:
"Let me be the first to say this plainly: These judges deserve to be killed. Their blood will replenish the tree of liberty. A small price to pay to assure freedom for millions."
Later in 2009, it was revealed that Turner was an FBI informant codenamed "Valhalla" from 1993 to 2008, with the last five of those years with the Joint Terrorism Task Force. It became clear to many of his followers that many of the things he said were at the behest of the FBI, or as he puts it, to "flush out crazies."
He was found guilty in December 2010, sentenced to 33 months in prison, and prohibited from hosting a radio show until three years after his release. After a long series of appeals, he was released early on October 5, 2012, and exactly three years and two days after this date, The Hal Turner Show returned to the air. Since his return, he has characterized the reason for his arrest as "writing an editorial the government didn't like," roundly criticized those responsible for his arrest, and attempted to deny certain facts stated on his Wikipedia page, including his involvement in the arrest of the Hutaree militia.
He has an unusually comprehensive ED page as well, but this is just a basic overview of what he's been up, for those new to him or who have forgotten him.
The show airs Wednesday evenings from 9pm-11pm EST on WBCQ shortwave radio and streaming online as well. He takes calls, usually after 10pm, at 201-771-3013.

You can also give him money at his website, halturnerradioshow.com. While a former affiliate of his, SuperStation95, used to post archives of his show, the radio station has since gone defunct and Hal now charges a $10 monthly fee to receive links to each show after it airs.
However, most of his broadcasts from his prior run are still publicly available, at this link:
