Harley Quinn - DC Universe Series - Verdict s̶t̶i̶l̶l̶ ̶o̶u̶t̶ I̶N̶. out again.

As someone who likes (the odd-numbered seasons of) Harley Quinn, I hope this season is better than the last one, but I'm not keeping my hopes up.
Now that Harley Quinn is on it's fifth season, it is now the longest running show that originated from the DC Universe app.
This series is still going?!
DC Universe shows, except for Swamp Thing, have at least three seasons. They're probably being renewed for the sake of reruns though I doubt this show is getting another season now that James Gunn is managing DC's animated output.

None of you are watching this show anymore, and you shouldn't, so here's a season 5 summary.

This season was interesting. Not because it was good, but because of how many plot threads that either didn't go anywhere or were solved immediately. I want to say that's because of Harley's ADHD nature, but that's giving the writers too much credit.

Season 4 ended with Harley and Ivy teaming up with Catwoman and Batgirl, now a paralyzed Oracle, in order to track down Nightwing.

Season 5 starts with the team breaking up in the first 3 minutes and Catwoman and Oracle never being seen again for the rest of the season.

Harley and Ivy move to Metropolis and immediately befriend Lena, Lex's sister.

Ivy reunites with the doctor responsible for giving her superpowers. This is incredibly traumatic for her. So much so that she kills him only a few minutes later.

But wait! He didn't actually die and instead comes back with superpowers, where he dies to Harley the same episode he was introduced.

Harley and Ivy are then invited to a party at Bruce Wayne's apartment where Nightwing, now Red X, crashes it in order to kill them.

Red X is a massive threat for a total of three minutes, where he is defeated by Bruce telling him that he is sorry.

The main villain for this season is Brainiac. And the way they try to defeat him is through the power of a musical.

Braianiac retaliates by killing the person closest to Ivy. So he kills Frank the plant.

Turns out it was Lena who killed Frank. She did this because...

An Ivy/Frank incest baby is born named Frankette.

Lena takes control of Brainiac's ship and kidnaps Frankette. She does this because...

Ivy and Harley have a falling out. But before they can patch things up, Harley goes back home because her mother died.

Harley's mother didn't actually die.

Harley's father dies.

Harley returns and uses her Psychology training to make Lena and Lex make up from their sibling feud.

The two then begin to work together in order to take over the planet, for about three minutes, where they start fighting again and then get eaten by Frankette.

Brainaic commits suicide by crashing his ship into a planet, but allows Harley and Ivy to escape via escape pod as well as everyone else he was keeping captive.

Harley and Ivy's escape pod hits some debris and there is about a five minute scene where they're dying due to running out of oxygen.

At the last minute, Superman comes and saves them. The end.

Fuck this show.

At least Bane got a happy ending by hooking up, and knocking up, the girl from the Valentines day special.

@StillNotBlarg For the love of God, you actually sat through this last season? I started this thread and I liked the first Season, though flawed with Wokeness. But I dropped out way back. I think the episode where Harley congratulated Catwoman on "escapting heterosexuality".

This show is possibly the worst DC animated product I have ever seen, and only made worse not better by the fact that it started out genuinely funny (at times).

I don't think anyone even talks about this show anymore, not even on Twitter does it pipe up.

The only mention of it I ever saw recently was just people morning Dick Grayson being attached to it and having a decent design (because he has darker skin, apparently? I don't really see it.)

Honestly, only reason this show survived was because that Deadpool show got canned. An despite the popular myth that it was canned because of a Taylor Swift joke, the reality was that creator during one interview said "Imma be mo offensive than R&M", which really showed that he didnt have any plans for story, character or anything. It was just gonna be boring shock value and how many people he could piss off.

A few months back, I tried to watch this show again from the beginning with my friend.

I wanted to kill myself by the end of Season 2 (The point where I eventually stopped watching this shit show the first time.) And I absolutely *refused* to keep watching this time after season 3. (Even though my friend wanted to keep going for some godawful reason. I put my foot down and said no.)

I do not believe I have ever watched a show before or since this one where I could literally *feel* the show actively hating me while I watched it.
For what it's worth, the feeling is mutual.
