Hasan, at least the current version of him, never takes a political position unless he's reasonably figured out what he thinks the most popular angle will be for his audience of left-leaning upper-middle class white college kids. The Canadian trucker thing isn't really on their radar, so for the time being he's just streaming the new pokemon game.

Is there any way to get some sort of breakdown of the demographics who actually watch and fund this nepotistic-faggot? It really feels like his audience has to be predominantly under 18, I can't fathom a reality where adults watch this kind of content.

Based on his twitter replies (Not the best data I admit since only the most active fans reply), it’s a lot of gay guys into him and some girls 16-20 who want attention from him.

He’s fairly centrist so I’d expect a “both sides” take here.

Bit of a tangent, but as a Canadian I think the truckers situation is just a powder keg, people across the world don’t know the build up towards this. Housing prices are out of control, food costs way more, job market is dogshit, and then a weaker Covid strain is somehow cause for even TIGHTER restrictions? At a time when other countries are letting up too. It’s not surprising people are mad here. Then leftist fucks like Hasan will turn around and call all of them “facists” and “nazis”, without even realizing most Canadians just want the government to acknowledge the countries problems. God it’s annoying.

Not to derail the topic, but as a fellow leaf is going to be a shit show since our prime minister fled Ottawa. And people ( on Reddit showing hatred towards the protests) Most likely, if XQC does it he probably sees both sides of the story and Hasan will respond to XQC's response calling him an idiot or a white suprmisicts.

Hasan will call him “misformed” and “needs to be educated” because he does not like to call out people he can leech off of or is friends with. The dude even defends pewdiepie saying the hard r, recommending “”nazi”” channels (according to lefties), the jew shit and generally being right wing. I think Hasan wants to keep that potential pewd’s relationship open for leeching, I can’t really think why else he would suddenly take a “pewdiepie has changed” stance when he demonizes others for their past.

Same thing happens to a lesser extent with Xqc, Xqc could agree with the truckers and Hasan would excuse it in some way.

He is not left, he is neoliberal and right wing, most likely alt-right (because he defends a lot of stuff Mohammed has done that is considered alt-right).

Faking socialism gives him money, so he fakes it. You see it that he doesnt want to spend his own money for the poor. You do not need such a big house when you live alone and have no children. He should make his bank and his wealth status more transparent and public. If he is really left, he has nothing to fear. But he is not that is why he critizices poor people. I do not live in the USA but the dictionary says Cracker is a slur used for poor white people. I think he lacks empathy, because he is rich, that is why he used the term and his fellow streamer are like him they also cannot empathize with the poor or middle class.

According to leftism: Privileged people like him (he has a lot of money) are not allowed to speak on the issues of non-privileged people (poor people), but he does it all of the time and he will probably do it again with the trucker issue. He often punshes down instead of punching up.
