I don't watch streamers usually, so you might think i live under a rock, but i had no idea who hasan was until a few days ago. i watch a lot of true crime content on youtube and got this retard recommended to me. I gave him a chance, i guess.

Spoiler: Opinion

There were a couple red flags, but I was watching these videos in the background while doing other things, so I didn't really care.

1. he kept walking away from his stream or not adding commentary for long periods of time. I felt like I was just watching the original content.
2. he kept raging at his chat and going on crazy banning sprees (keep in mind that these are edited streams on youtube, the original VOD is probably even worse)
3. his opinions were stupid. I felt like my eyes were gonna roll out of my head from the frequency of the eye-roll worthy moments.

the thing that really made me stop what i was doing and pay attention was his tard rage at Ted Bundy saying violent pornography may have contributed to him finally acting on his impulses.

It's important to note, however, that Bundy doesn't state this as fact. He even goes out of his way to state that this is his personal opinion on why he ended up committing these acts of violence.
you can disagree with that, that's perfectly fine. you can even argue that this is the same as saying violent video games cause violence, therefore it's not a good argument.

Hasan instead went on an insane rambling tirade on why porn is good and banning everyone who even suggested otherwise. just crazy coomer shit. (starts at around 46mins). I found this out of character for him to rant like an incel when he kept calling his chat incels for suggesting Jodi Arias was hot.

Turns out, this wasn't out of character for him at all, since he went to a fucking brothel to get laid. You can't pretend to respect women and go support pimps at the same time, Hasan. You're a fucking hypocrite.

I thought: this guy has to have a thread. He's just too ridiculous. Sure enough, he does. And sure enough, his behaviour hasn't changed.

What surprised me while reading through this thread was that this guy is 31 years old. THIRTY. I thought he was twenty. He acts like a teenager. It's insane to me that he acted this immaturely at twitchcon, too. He was moments away from actually getting physically violent with fans.

What's even worse is that when you manage to build up enough self-loathing and masochistic tendencies to try and listen to him for extended periods of time you notice immediately about how fucking annoying his verbal idiosyncrasies are. Like you said, he's in his early 30s but talks not only like fucking zoomer trash, but also with all this awful, coopted and forced internet language. It'd be like listening to my father call something based or cringe. Just embarrassing and pathetic but when your audience is equally as retarded I guess you are what you eat.

Sam Hyde is way more aggressive and I think actually wants to compete, he'd be the kind that would either win or have to be taken out on a stretcher. Pewdiepie's basically semi-retired now. And even when he was being all silly, at least he was likable and didn't try to drive away the people watching his videos. By most accounts, he's a pretty nice guy.
Hasan and Ethan (don't even get me started on Ethan, I used to like his content before he just started doing his crappy podcast) are actively shitting on people that might have been potential fans.

What I can say is Charlie at least doesn't try to censor his friends views or brush them aside. Hopefully the podcast continues to be not as popular as other stuff he makes, so it doesn't create any problems for him.

I wasn't aware of the Hyde question up until Ludwig mentioned on one of his recent videos, he called it "harassment"… pathetic. I feel like everytime Ludwig addresses Hasan publicly is with a voice of pity, something like:"No one can stand this dude but he isn't bad, he's just stupid".
