I’m an Angeleno and I can tell you that UCLA has a relatively small campus divided into two halves: the serious, STEM/medical ‘South Campus’ and the insane, Communist ‘North Campus’. The school essentially uses the South Campus to fund the activities in the North Campus. But the North Campus is weak. Getting a lolberal arts or business degree from UCLA is not like getting one from USC or Stanford. It’s only their engineering and medical programs which carry prestige for getting a good career.I am pretty sure UCLA is just a campus in perpetual revolt and everyone pays to be apart of said revolt instead of going to classes. Not like you would actually learn anything from their "diversified" and Pozzed to hell and back "professors" anyways I guess.
Bizarre, potentially criminal, and unbecoming of a congressman? Yes. Would I vote for him still? Also yes. In fact I would be more likely to after reading that tweet, were I a constituent of his. That was fucking retarded of dumb of Hasan, but the shit that Tom Cotton faggot said isn't a lot better. If he was just some random shit poster (tom cotton) that would be one thing, but that's an endorsement of running over fucking protestors by a setting congressman. One that is certain to me, if that was me or you, that might be considered incitement.
I do understand how hurtful it is to public discourse for you to fuck with people just trying to get back and forth for work or just their daily lives, but for a fuckign congressman to advocate just running em the fuck over.. FFS.
Lock Hasan and Tom Cotton in a cage together and only let one out. Let them settle their own differences I say.Bizarre, potentially criminal, and unbecoming of a congressman? Yes. The cuck didn't post a pinochet helicopter meme, but I don't have someone who does to vote forBizarre, potentially criminal, and unbecoming of a congressman? Yes. Would I vote for him still? Also yes. In fact I would be more likely to after reading that tweet, were I a constituent of his.

Apparently hasan showed up to the protest at UCLA. Seems like if there are famous people about (writer strike) or young women (college campus) hasan will leave his cave to "help" out the cause.
You'll never see him at an actual union or commie event cuz then he'd have to be around poor people and women his age
Trends, algorithms etc change quickly on the internet. E-celebs like Hasan have a natural shelf life, and if they keep saying and doing the exact same thing they have always done, at some point they won't grow anymore, and soon they can't even maintain their viewers until a very strong core of viewers are left. Why do you guys think Hasan is dying ? We all remember the last time he got front paged when he was MATI because his views were low. I hate Hasan, I hate Hasan just as much as any of you hell probably more, but I do not understand why he is losing views. Everyone says that it's the Israel conflict but being pro Palestine is more popular now then ever before.
I almost wonder if over time the influx of negative attention he got caused people to not like him, I know this sounds retarded to people like us but you have to keep in mind how normies (I hate using this word but it fits best here) think. Normies rely more on community consensus to form their opinions. I remember this one guy I went to high school with who was pro Trump and obnoxious about it, then in like 2017 he stopped supporting Trump because to quote him "I went on my instagram feed and saw people saying bad shit about him"

I don't think there's been a particular shift in one direction or the other. With Hasan specifically, I could see him losing viewers for a variety of reasons, but I imagine it's always been a bit of a slow decline that's only now becoming more notable. Not that he's on the cusp of being irrelevant or anything. While there's definitely an audience of leftists who are anti-Israel, it's by no means all of them, so that could bleed some audience members. Hasan naturally being toxic and dismissive towards his audience also chases people away. I heard he's been trying to do non-politics stuff as well, which is his big appeal. It's also possible his viewers are just finding other echo chambers, there's not exactly a lack of political influencers. We have been talking a lo tabout Hasan's downfallm but something realted to Hasan's downfall is the downfall of the left more broadly.
I have seen many smug internet people say that " the pendulum is shifting" and "people are rising up". I just don't see it, I don't think leftist politics are declining in popularity. I have even seen some saying the far right are on the rise, once again I just don't think they are.
But what do you all think ?
I could be wrong here, but the left seems to be mutating a little bit with the right and they seems to be looking back at their mistakes and disavowing their nutcases like Vaush and Hasan. I believe the pendulum is swinging, I remember when 'woke' wasn't used that often and now it is used so much by normies that you have those smug left wing people doing their usual satirical impression of overusing the word, I also remember when the left barely talked about jews too, but that is just my anecdotal experience. We have been talking a lo tabout Hasan's downfallm but something realted to Hasan's downfall is the downfall of the left more broadly.

No one is so poor that they have to sleep on the kitchen floor. What, he didn't have a single friend who didn't live in a tiny studio apartment? If I was having someone crash at my place the only place worse than them sleeping in the kitchen would be the bathroom. If I was crashing at someone's place the kitchen would be one of the worst places to crash, it's LA, even the backyard/balcony would be more comfortable than the kitchen for most of the year. If this was actually a long-term situation it would be trivial to partition off enough of the bedroom for a pallet compared to just giving up your kitchen. His story is dumb, more likely that he passed out in the kitchen and is reframing it as a part of a class struggle. In recent interview with someone Hasan claimed that:
- during college, he was so poor he had to sleep on friend's kitchen floor
- that he graduated UCLA magna cum laude
- that he had to start from scratch in his uncle's (TYT) network and he produced a lot of revenue from him by making his sales or advertising department very successful and that he carried it all on his back
are these from rags to riches claim true?
If you knew how fat he was this makes sense because he was just spawncamping the food.- during college, he was so poor he had to sleep on friend's kitchen floor
No, his story made zero fucking sense.are these from rags to riches claim true?

His Dad wasn't a CEO just a high ranking executive/director. Hasan says many times his family was rich but lost it when he went to college which is funny because those are the same years where public records show his grandpa was buying $70 million dollar apartment buildings (leading a group of 30 investors) because poor people have 7 figure cash down payments...
His dad did sit on the board of trade of Turkey with a former prime minister which is the definition of being apart of "the elite class".
I wonder if Cenk is on record talking about when TYT became profitable (if ever) because otherwise it would clearly have been funded by Cenk's father through the profits from being a rent seeking landlord? Rather funny that a landlord family made a nepo baby career in socialist political entertainment.
His dad worked as the vice president and various other positions of a fortune 500 company called Sabanci Holding over a career of 24 years, was a member of the board of directors of various other companies, represented Turkey as the business delegate at the European Union and co-founded a Turkish political party called the Future Party with a former prime minister of Turkey.

Bonus info Hasan grew up riding show horses competitively
He 100% grew up as a part of Elite society not just in Turkey anywhere he traveled also.

I could swear I heard someone say that he had an uncle (an uncle that was not Cenk) who was also a rich landlord.John Reddit says:
Looks like bullshit enough to fertilize a field. From Wikipedia itself,ok, but his magna cum laude status can be publically checked, no?
