Hayden desperately wants to be an authority where he has none. It's kinda depressing when Wu can show more power.

"I was drunk" might as well really say "I acted like a twat and have no excuse" these days. At least he didn't send anyone dick pics.

As for Hayden, I don't think he initially starts off these projects shooting for "so bad it's good" status. I think he legit believes he has produced a brilliant piece of art and tries to save face (for himself) by later convincing himself that he was going for a cult hit like Rocky Horror or Repo. He's a talentless con artist either way you look at it, but in some ways I think aiming for cult hit status with something is more difficult than shooting for mass appeal because you need to be completely in tune with that niche group you are aiming for.

I'm pretty sure Hayden shits his pants enough on tumblr to constitute a thread here. Also there's plenty of negative feedback from tumblr posts, which is supposed to be the target audience. The politics of the show... if you can even call them that, are 100% piggybacking off of tumblr's social justice bandwagon. Hayden just doesn't have enough self-awareness to understand the movement himself, or even pretend that he does. All he's learned from tumblr is how to cry and scream about how he's being "harassed". :lol:

I agree. It's kind of reminiscent of The Room, in which after it got popular for being so bad, supposedly Tommy Wisaeu tried to claim it was actually supposed to be a black comedy all along.

Here though, I don't think it's going to be enjoyable to watch, except for riffing purposes.

I don't think even that will bring much enjoyment. Hayden's stuff is just painful to watch, poorly done and terminally unfunny.
I predict an episode of Gen Zed will be about as enjoyable as a root canal.
(ETA: If they ever manage to produce a full episode, that is.)

The real lulz comes from watching Hayden &co. act like total chimps on half a dozen different websites.

Not only that, but he mentions how the channel used to be called HDNet. When it was HDNet it had Ring of Honor Wrestling, so they never had a "music only" format, he just doesn't want to admit that they dropped his shitty show, but then again, we already guessed that, didn't we. :lol:

And man, I finally caught up with this fiasco. Hayden has such a bad personality, it suprises me that he's trying to push a show for the tumblr crowd.His abrasive personality would be better suited for a different show.

Instead of "GenZed", he should have written "InCel" the show with the first incel voice actor in a leading role. The show could be a bout a poor Incel guy, his struggles against alphas-bros and his battle against friend-zoning. Then when tmblrites questioned him about his show, his caustic remarks would probably win him fans among the Loveshy/MRA/Incel crowd.

He could even do it with the same character designs he has now, it'll be easy!
