Something I’ve seen from VRchat’s Hazbin Hangout; a lot of kids are really into this show. I see a lot of 12-13 year olds wearing Hazbin avatars. Is that the general age demographic everywhere else? It really wouldn’t surprise me if it is because it looks like a show I’d probably enjoy back when I was 12 and really into Happy Tree Friends.

That's typical with adult-targeted cartoons, kids are always bound to get drawn to them regardless.

I can see hazbin/hella boss being this gen of kids Invader Zim. Which is much needed because there is no good edgy content now and days thanks to every one wanting to be the next Steven universe. Just hope Hazbin Hotel is helped out by being backed by a studio and not hindered.

I think it's kind of pointless now to go on inane insights on certain aspects of the show. If it keeps being a problem in future episodes then maybe I'll go into more detail then but for now I'm just go summarize these statements; the rules and background of hell make little sense and is mainly just an aesthetic, Stolas is not a good father, and there was no sign of love between Blitzø and Stolas until the last three episodes that came out of left field. That is all.

The only confidence I have is that A24 does allow creative freedom for better or worse.

With this generation it's hazbin/helluva boss, with @Dave. 's it was happy tree friends, for mine it was south Park, for my parents it was the Simpsons. Every generation as far back as the late stage boomers/early gen xers had one show that despite being animated was clearly not intended for children but still they got into it anyways.

I never liked the Simpsons much because it usurped Groening's much better Life in Hell.

Anyone else tired of these constant merch pushes? Like I get it...money makes the world go round, but it doesn't make it any less annoying when there's a post or two everyday about it. Like one post should suffice for all the limited merch for the season, maybe another one for when the deadline is coming close or its getting sold out but that's it.

I also find it strange that there's merch for Hazbin Hotel still even though it still hasn't come out yet/ no announcement of it coming out soon, plus the fact that they aren't even the redesigns. But you know, that's just me.

You seem to be forgetting which generation we're talking about here: Gen Z, the ADHD generation. You only tweet about the merch once, they're probably gonna forget about it and not buy it. Tweet about it every day, and you'll guarantee sales because it sticks in their mind more since they're reminded every day.

An Octavia episode is coming.

>Octavia gets an episode dedicated to her before my girl Millie

Why you gotta do her like that, Viv? She (and Moxxie, for that matter) desperately needs more development! Of course, I could be jumping the gun here and she, along with Moxxie, (hopefully) get it later on in the season, but still, what an egregious oversight.

Also, isn't it mighty funny how the dysfunctional gay couple gets more screen time and development than the perfectly normal and loving heterosexual one?

Millie got plenty of screen time in most of the show's first season, even down to seeing her parents and....uhhhh "sister." Tavi hasn't had any character development or a staring role since her debut in Loo loo land. let the goth chick have her time in the spotlight.

So far I like the redesigns and have mostly actually had to visually compare them to tell the difference. They simplify but without losing the defining parts of the character. I hope the finished product is of a similar quality despite the rumblings that all is not well.

They had basically a whole episode with one of the best musical numbers yet, and that adorable Parry Gripp-written video.

I think they're referring less on screen time with Millie and more on the fact that Millie needs some development as a character because as of right now Millie is just...there. She either serves as a device to get the plot moving or to solve conflict, or to support her husband. Even when we did get to see Millie's family, instead of focusing on Millie we got another Moxxie episode with a side of "shit getting real or whatever" with Striker. We have yet to see her as her own person and you can't blame people for getting a little annoyed when she's part of the I.M.P. organization...you know, what this show was originally supposed to be about. Oh well. At least it appears that we might get more insight on Loona, given the trailer and sneakpeeks. She's another character that had been underutilized.

On a more positive note, good on Octavia for leaving. Both of her parents are pretty shitty, so it was about time she got away.

Did she leave? Where did that happen? Don't have a functional Twitter account but she was reading Stolas's GRIMOIRE from what I could tell.

I doubt she escapes the awfulness of Goetian tradition that easily anyway.

Wait, is that fanart or when did Millie cry like that?
