They're worth comparing only in the sense that Lackadaisy's run by grown-up adults who know what they're doing and how to behave and Helluva's run by Vivize. Beyond that, they're completely different shows with very different vibes and that's okay.

Maybe Tracy, but frankly most of both sides have been massively sperging out.

I did think the animation quality was ultimately a lot better.

I really like the professionalism and consistency of the Lackadaisy animation, although I find the sometimes hectic and manic animation in HB appealing too, one particular example being the crazy fight scene in Truth Seekers.

I know the shows have some kind of connection.

One of the obvious ones is that Michael Kovach, who voiced Angel Dust in the HH pilot, also voiced Rocky Rickaby in the Lackadaisy pilot (and did a stellar job as both).

I won't really address much about the first part of Lackadaisy's discord post because I've already addressed it beforehand (and I really don't care). All I say is that it's very hopeful to hear that at least one of the members know that most issues aren't cut and dry, and are willing to listen to others opinions that are different than their own (if they actually do those things is another question).

Anyway, I'm more interested in Spindlehorse's donation because I didn't know that initially it was rejected. My assumption about it being because of some Lackadaisy members having bad blood with Viv though seems to be the reason. Spindlehorse is her studio. But because Viv doesn't seem to take no very well, she didn't resign the donation, so Tracy was put in the awkward situation of having to cancel it herself. I would have done it right then, but I Can understand why she waited until after the campaign since maybe she thought Viv would cancel it herself eventually.

Now I'm still curious on when Viv posted that Spindlehorse donated, cause that would be kind of shitty if they asked her to resign the donation but still make the post so people would know that the donation was made. If it was before, then I'll understand that the timing just made it awkward. But her posting that cancel email was shitty of her. She knows exactly what she was doing there.

Lackadasisey I'm pretty confident to say is furry bait of some sort. I'd say the drama that follows Viv on her own is more entertaining than her fans squabbles with possible furrys.

I like some "furry" styled stuff like BNA but I just couldn't really care about the characters in this.

I won't lie, this made me smile a little. It's really stupid but regardless of your thoughts on Viv and Brandon's brand (hurr) of humor, you can tell these two are good friends. It's sweet in a weird way, even if their show is falling apart.

I'm pretty sure Brandon writes a lot of the yo mama type jokes Blitzie is always making. I'd be willing to bet "Your fat mom, thanking her for a fat time" was one of his.

I'm glad they didn't just fire Ze out of internet optics, it's really much easier to just side with the crowd than stick by someone you personally know, so I commend them for not being the nth studio to fire someone because the internet got angry.

The only reason why Ze wasn't fired was because she was interrogated and assessed to be a True Ally, even going with the lamest excuse that she merely "liked" the Bad Tweets as an investigative bookmark along with bearing a wacky idea about gendered sports categorization broadly. She might have even groomed some troons herself in light of this confessed history of camp-counseling for damaged, vulnerable children. As Tracy herself states in the last attached screencap (which fell out of the spoiler button), the whole project is completely pozzed and won't allow for any ideological impurity in its staff. They're only "adults" insofar that they haven't turned public social media spergouts and fights into a hobby.

So, does that mean Viv did not know that they wanted the donation to be taken back? Why the hell did no one tell her if that was the case? She's the boss of the studio. I think she should have known, even if she still would have declined.

I don't even know what is going on anymore. All I know is that everyone lacks basic communication skills, the bosses don't know how to be bosses, and this whole situation should have never been posted on Twitter for the public to see. Fucking unprofessional.

Frankly I never heard of this "MeatCanyon" show that's supposed to be so amazing (searching here on KF brings up stuff about Nikocado and some user avatars), so I decided to look up what the hell it's all about:

It's those grotesquely-stylized celebrity parody animations YouTube sometimes pushes to the front page (via shorts). I can see it as a well-above-average YouTube channel, but it's not really a "show" like HB. Same goes with Jaiden Animations (she's just a storytime YouTuber with a thirsty fanbase, spoken about all over this site). No idea what "The Land of Boggs" is, but a quick search lead to this KF post , most important part here:

The Land of Boggs is a series of short cartoons created by animators at Buzzfeed about a strange land of monsters who have #relatable problems.

Frankly, comparing YT channels to TV-like productions seems like an apples to oranges thing and unfair to everyone involved. I think we can all agree though that awards shows are less than pointless and need to be ignored.

Now, I wouldn't take the art as a smoking gun since the overdesigned stick figures of Viv's artstyle shouldn't be too hard to replicate in black and white (I think?), and Baxter himself hasn't been brought up for a LONG fucking time. But the episode synopsis is certainly stupid enough to make it into the show.

See my problem with the pun-loving outlaw, other than the entire fucking idea, is that he and his gang, unless they're completely surrounding the hotel or something, should be pretty small potatoes compared to the cast, right? (Alastor is the most feared dude in the city, Angel Dust already has killed a whole gang before on his own, this is a tuesday for him, and Vaggie has a spear that can permanently kill sinners if the ever-changing lore is to be believed)
Tying them up with rope doesn't even make sense because Charlie notably has fire powers that we sometimes see (and you know, her dad rules hell, but if some random reporter can ignore that fact, so will I), and even if it was the ridiculous heaven rope that HB pulled out of its ass, they'd still have to get the jump on the entire cast to use it without getting fucked up.
