okay that got a chuckle out of me
probably not for the reasons vivienne intended though

-double-posting because this is completely unrelated-
Are [women] legitimately this tribalistic and emotionally driven by nature? I don’t ask this out of hate, I’m just curious if any female kiwis can offer insight here as to what goes on because I don’t remember men having these kinds of slap fights and gossiping online.
I don't know how much input I can give on this since I'm a shut-in who's had exactly one (1) proper friend of the female sex in her entire life, but- yes.

The way you describe is a bit overblown, but to put it extremely, extremely simply (from what i've observed): women are a lot more concerned with being right in terms of a majority while men are more concerned with being right right- able to back themselves up and genuinely be a threat. Meanwhile, women are more concerned with the popular consensus and their own image, hence the sass and "rallying of the crowd" seen in catfights and shit like bratty highschool cliques. From what I understand, men want to be powerful. Women want to look powerful.

I'm talking mainly in terms of arguing right now because that's what was initially asked about, but this sort of goes for most things. Women have far less need for actual strength because men typically defend and provide for them. They need to be more concerned with image because they've been much more scrutinized for it historically (be it due to their dress, their attitude, their age in comparison to their partner's, etc). This also applies to the family- men do most of the physical defending or heavy-lifting chores that the rest of the family is too weak to do while bringing in food/income to provide while the woman cares for the child using what the man provides and tends to the house to keep the family healthy and organized. I believe the tribalism comes mostly from maternal instinct- since women need to be fiercely attached to their babies or the baby will be left to die, they tend to place greater emphasis on close family and loved ones (especially those attached to the baby in some way) than men, but it could also just be something unrelated.

I'm derailing a little bit here, so to get back on track- yes, women are more emotional and tribalistic than men. I doubt the difference between male tribalism and female tribalism is nearly as great as their divergence in regards to empathy god that makes men sound like jerks, sorry, but it's certainly there and plays a huge part.

This entire thing is a massive fucking rabbit hole that I can only really give insight to by virtue of being a girl, and even then I sound like I'm talking out of my ass while I say this because there are so so many factors for everything. Societal and historical factors play a large part in how men and women behave, as does an individual's genetics, as do general differences in sex relating to brain construction, anatomy, upbringing, etc etc etc.

TL;DR: yeah, women are more emotional. Dunno about tribalistic, but probably also more tribalistic. Mean Girl cliques are a stereotype for a reason. Also holy shit this rabbit hole is deeper than the Mariana Trench and three paragraphs from a sheltered loser with no girl friends should by no means be sufficient enough to determine your stance on the matter.

Lordy, this guy really thinks he's a member of the cast. I got flashbacks to CWC when he pretended his character was fucking and going down on Verosika. Couldn't make it through the whole video because he talks like a retarded toddler.
"IS. THAT YOUR DAD. STOLASSS??? WHAT'S HIS NAME?? PAYMAHN???"

Also oh dear.

At the risk of sounding like an idiot .Am I to understand that Christian Weston Chandler said one of his characters was fucking Verosika?!

All of this speculation is interesting, but I think it's a good idea to follow Occam's Razor too. We have evidence these terminally online modern creative types are very coddled, spoiled, and even from wealthy/easy backgrounds (thinking of those hearsay posts about Viv coming from money). This allowed them to pursue "careers" in art, so we're already dealing with a more immature man/woman-child population (which more or less explains their behavior). If we want to dive further, MAYBE it's due to women in these privileged groups getting coddled more than men? Being creative/artsy is traditionally seen as less-masculine, so maybe the boys get discouraged more/pushed into other hobbies/careers? Maybe men are more willing to criticize other artistic men but encourage artistic women? It's hard to get any concrete evidence of this, but I have seen way more creative/artsy women than men.

100% anecdotal, but an ex of mine mentioned in theater ( yes I made the mistake of dating a theater chick, which is why I agreed with @AnOminous above ) the sex ratio is insane. There are something like 10 actresses for every 1 male actor (and most stage performances have 1:1 male/female rolls, leading to intense competition amongst an already coddled/immature group of women). I would not be surprised if similar sex ratios exist in other creative fields, which further explains the nasty behavior.

TLDR: the creative arts, for "reasons", seem to attract disproportionately coddled/spoiled woman-children and is intensely competitive. That is a perfect recipe for vicious drama.

To be fair, Verosika probably has one of the highest bodycounts in the universe (it's literally her job and the show implies she's REALLY good at it) -- it wouldn't surprise me if it's cannon she fucked every willing degenerate.

No, I'm talking about the Helldeath guy in one of his videos. There's one part where he pretends his character is eating out and then fucking Verosika because, according to him, they're dating. It reminded of a couple classic Chris videos where he pretended to do the same thing to his "sweethearts."

He also reminded me of CWC for constantly saying how he is straight and what he hates.

There were like at least 10 lines in that video where he was like "I'm a heterosexual" and going on about how he hates the meme horn sound effect

I would agree with you on that if it wasn't for the fact that they accepted the donation in the first place. Why cancel it now? It is a bit suspicious that this happened right after the drama with Ze.

I know Ze doesn't particularly like Viv in general; Ashley and Michael are at best neutral about her as they stated they don't want to talk about Viv or their time working on Hazbin Hotel; and there are other crew members themselves who stated that they don't have problems with Spindlehorse, just with Viv. (Makes me wonder if the donation post was made on the Helluva Boss's Twitter account instead of Viv's, we wouldn't be dealing with this in the first place.)

Either way, the donation was initially accepted. And now it has been rejected. Maybe it's because of the comments Viv made, other Spindlehorse members made, or hell, even the Helluva Boss/Hazbin Hotel fans made. Or it could be something completely different. Whatever it is, Tracy (the creator/director of Lackadaisy) doesn't want Spindlehorse's money anymore.

I also do wonder if Viv knew that if she posted this email to Twitter, that her fans would get upset with Lackadasiy. I'm not trying to say that she would do soemthing like that intentionally, bit I wouldn't put that pass behind her.
Neutral nothing; there's a crazy amount of bad blood between Ashley, Michael, and Vivzie. They don't talk about it, but word is she was horrible to both of them. Vivzie's also talked smack about Fable.

Also this.

The Lackadaisy Discord server released a statement for both Ze's "transphobia" and Viv's pledge being denied. They're both insanely long so I'll put them in spoilers, but to those who just want a rundown I'll include a TL;DR at the bottom for you as well.

Ze isn't really transphobic. She's participated in many high level sports events before a debilitating knee injury and so had an opinion about trans people in sports. Her liking those tweets were less so "trans people don't belong in sports" and moreso "the binary of sports is harmful for everyone". The reason Tracy and the crew hasn't spoken up earlier was because she was very aware of how inflammatory the internet is, especially when it comes to discourse. However she understands not saying anything either is just as bad, so here she is now. Ze WON'T be fired because Tracy and the crew believes they haven't misjudged her character, and especially with a trans Director (Fable) they felt that was most important; that Ze ISN'T transphobic and that trans crew members will feel safe working with her.

The reason for Tracy denying Viv's donation will stay private, in fact, she reached out to Viv to discuss why she had to deny her pledge (she clarifies that it has nothing to do with Ze). Even wanted to keep it private so it won't start anything. But Viv just went and posted it publicly that her pledge was denied lmfaooo

I'm glad they didn't just fire Ze out of internet optics, it's really much easier to just side with the crowd than stick by someone you personally know, so I commend them for not being the nth studio to fire someone because the internet got angry. As for Viv, holy fuck is she petty lmao. Tracy very cleverly suggested they keep the pledge being denied PRIVATE, and Viv still posted that publicly. If the Lackadaisy crew didn't hate her before, they will now.

The most exercise Viv gets is running her mouth, jumping to conclusions, and pushing her luck.

Nigga's skinnier than Eugenia Cooney, and yet Loona keeps calling him fat?! Is it projection, or something?
I think Brandon Rogers and Viv write the show so she's probably showing her internalized fatphobia uwu.

Hazbin looked DOA when I first saw the pilot. Viv being a histrionic diva is just icing on the cake. The worldbuilding is poorly thought out and the art style is an eyesore (I see she wants the 2007 look but it lacks the heart). I haven't seen the pilot in a while so correct me if I'm wrong here. The angels are purging hell because it's too full and Charlie is against this so she wants to rehabilitate the sinners into heaven? Why does she think this will work? Don't tell me because she's naive, it just doesn't make any sense. Angel Dust is almost a fun character but is too much Tumblr yaoi man for my tastes. Alastor is a deer? Not a fox? I get that a sly sneaky fox character is cliche but sometimes cliche works better than being subversive in a stupid way. "Heaven is le bad" and "hell is a hedonistic rave, take that mom" is very boring and doesn't take advantage of theology of its mythos.
Even though Charlie is the spawn of two demons in Hell, because she has not committed any sins, she does not have a demonic appearance. Being the daughter of an archangel and the first woman means she looks like a holy Disney princess, with flowing fiery hair and billowing robes. Her father is top banana of Hell but he is strangely always absent. Lucifer is basically a legend in Hell and even the worse demons cower at his name, Surprise. Hell is a prison and not a kingdom, Lucifer is petrified in a large block of ice in the lowest pits but only Lilith knows this.

Hell is arranged in levels: the worse your sin, the lower your level. Basic stuff. But also the worse your sin, the less human you look. Those in purgatory are regular humans maybe with slight altercations, but those lower will be ungodly eyesores. It is not Los Angeles but red. Life in Hell is just like being alive only much worse. Purgatory is equivalent to one of the most violent places on Earth (for those coming from the Middle East for being Muslim, life isn't that different)

Charlie doesn't think it's fair that moral people can be sent to Hell because they believed in the wrong god, but genocidal maniacs and serial killers have chance at heaven because they were Christian/deadbed repented. Her goal is to talk to God and reform the systems (and also give Hell its independence so it's not Heaven's penal colony garbage can). Demons like Alastor and Angel Dust fuck with her because they don't want her ruining the status quo (they enjoy torturing and messing with those on the upper levels). I don't know Vaggie's original backstory but here she's an ex occultist from the 60's who was sacrificed in a ritual and thought that Hell would be an eternal party of sex, drugs and booze and she was very excited to meet Satan but is disappointed that this "land of eternal suffering" is exactly that.

Charlie can get into heaven because she's not a demon and she tries to be summoned and possess someone about to die. Heaven is literal paradise (duh) and Charlie hopes that her mission is successful and the good people in Hell can experience this. In heaven, the other archangels are basically her strict but loving uncles. Jesus is kind of like the cool hippie uncle. God is loving but is a complete dick when he's angry. Charlie proposes her idea, and he rejects her because he is perfect and allknowing and the system is fine. She presses harder and he loses his temper and tells her to leave and never return. Charlie gets upset and is legitimately angry for the first time in her life and God recognizes Lucifer in her and banishes her from Heaven. She becomes more deformed as she plummets to the lowest level and swears that she will get revenge on God and make Hell a better place even if she has to do it by force. Maybe she finds her dad or something.

Eh, mine's half thought out too.

I really like Helluva Boss and people are talking about how good Lackadaisy is and I just watched the pilot and did not like it even though I wanted to. I know the shows have some kind of connection.
They're worth comparing only in the sense that Lackadaisy's run by grown-up adults who know what they're doing and how to behave and Helluva's run by Vivize. Beyond that, they're completely different shows with very different vibes and that's okay.

I did think the animation quality was ultimately a lot better.

THAT SHIT HAS BEEN BOTHERING ME SINCE THE FUCKING PILOT. Almost every male character looks like an overdesigned stick figure, so why is Moxxie specifically the one called fat by the one character of the main cast that's visibly wider than him?
Why does she think this will work?
I still don't understand how she thinks Heaven will just get behind this, or how she'll even get into contact with them considering the only angels that come down are just there to kill people.
The opening of the pilot implies her meeting Adam and Lute, but there's basically no chance of them being convinced.
