In the episode you're likely referring to, Blitz says that "your fire doesn't hurt us," implying that earthly fire doesn't work. However in Hell we see there is such thing as Hellfire. Hellfire is often used in fiction, and slightly in biblical canon to describe fire-from-hell (hence the name). So, assuming that Viv actually succeeded in some world-building, only hellfire can really harm sinners and hellborn.

I had seen the leak before watching the actual episode, it’s just a bit better than the rest of season 2 but not by much.

The gay shit is very distracting, mainly the dick jokes and “funny hahaha sex” jokes that feel like they were written by a 13 year old, I’m surprised that Stolas in this episode was actually not as insufferable as he’s been in the past. Stolas has always worked better as a, side character to me than a main one and he was a lot more tolerable here than in the past episodes.

My biggest issue is once again; the reuse of Striker and him being humiliated once again. To not repeat my other post, he’s basically become an incompetent fool who started out very interesting but repeated use as a recurring bad guy has diminished his role. Also Crimson, he felt pointless here too. I don’t get the point of bringing him back this early either, he never was an intimidating villain and just came off as too try hard.

Overall, I feel just apathy for this show and the series as a whole. I only really still follow it because I want to see how it crashes and burns with its terrible writing. Which is sad because there’s glimpses of potential here, but being honest; I doubt Vivsie wouldn’t even bother with that since she just cares about telling her fag fanfiction than actually making an entertaining show with a fun premise and interesting characters. Something most western things nowadays lack.

I gave up and unsubbed when I saw Circus retcon Stolas and Blitzo into being long lost childhood friends despite only interacting once and Blitz later stealing his shit and not caring about him at all. That's kinda when I realized there was zero hope of this show being "The Office meets Hitman meets Brandon Rogers" like I thought, and instead it was just going to focus on my two least favorite characters until Viv gets bored and abandons it like Zoophobia.

Striker is also emblematic of another problem with modern writing: he's supposed to be an antagonist, yet you end up agreeing with everything he says, because.....is he really wrong? For example:

"Why does it always gotta be some sex thing?!"

Why indeed, Striker. Why indeed.

Tbh, Striker is actually one of the more consistent characters in the series. He is a no nonsense criminal with a chip on his shoulder towards the elite, and tries to extract his vengeance whenever possible even if it's hypocritical. When your show can't decide if it's a comedy or drama, people will tend to gravitate towards the characters not defined by the state or genre of the show. Say what you want about Stolas or Striker, but their characters and motivations are consistent. Blitzo's isn't and as the main character he probably should be.

I have nothing to base it on other than her current attitude, but look at it this way, if you had hiring power at a major animation studio, would you be inclined to hire a grown woman who goes on online rants because she's pissed her fans don't like the flanderization of their favorite characters? Whelp, got to the 5 minute mark and basically said fuck it. I think I'm done. I'm 28 years old and I'm done watching a 14 year old emo kid trapped in a 30 year old's body try and make me laugh with cartoon dicks, gay faggotry (totally not a fetish guys), and saying fuck every sentence. I'm quitting the entire series and if it's recommended to me on youtube I'll just say not interested and hopefully never see it again. I've been more interested in the drama rather than the show itself. It's just not fucking funny. It's boring. I'm tired of seeing yaoi fetish shit shoved in my face and being told to like it by some mentally regressive womanchild who thinks cartoon dildos are funny.

I quit. This is the last episode I'm enduring of this shit. I gave it a chance because the first episodes of season 1 were alright, but now it has no fucking clue what it wants to be and it's just too insufferable to endure now.

...and I hate not being single sometimes. Girlfriend roped me into watching this episode (I was hoping to head straight to bed after work) and here's what I thought of it: It's a step up from episode 4, but my biggest problems with this show are still extremely prevalent and they're still probably here to stay for the duration of the entire series. This show will flip flop on tone non-fucking-stop. You'll have one moment that is supposed to be sad and sappy and then it will immediately turn to comedic slapstick in the exact same breath with no pause. This show is also badly suffering with juvenile comedy that sounds like something a 15 year old came up with in high school while joking with his friends in the cafeteria. It's just not funny to adult me to shove dicks (censored for whatever fucking reason really makes me wonder why they were put in in the first place) in every conceivable frame that this show has.

I'm also completely over this Stolitz subplot. I. Hate. It. It needs to stop. It's fucking annoying and obnoxious and every time I have to hear about it on this show I cringe. The constant flip flopping of their relationship is exhausting to keep up with and the sexual scenes that they have together are a black mark on this show because they're clearly done because of Vivienne Medrano's poorly disguised fetish for fujoshis. I don't want to hear about LGBT rights or anything like that, because that's why Vivienne Medrano does this shit; it's a fetish. The only thing I will say about this episode was that Ozzy and Fizzarolli, to Vivienne Medrano's credit, were actually interesting as a couple... BECAUSE THEY ACTUALLY HAVE FUCKING CHEMISTRY! Moxxie and Millie have no chemistry with each other, Stolas and Blitzo have barely any chemistry, Loona has no chemistry with anyone at all, actually none of the cast members seem to have any chemistry with each other at all unless you count Stella and her ex-husband, but that's a whole other topic.

Striker is completely fucking ruined now. He's gone. He's a joke now and whatever grit and masculinity he had back in the first season has been castrated and raked over coals because I guess she was angry people liked him more than the main cast (because he actually does shit men enjoy, he doesn't sit around getting his ass fucked by every man with a dick like every other character in this show). Richard Horvitz is also a terrible choice as an actor for Crimson. He does not fit the role at all and unfortunately gave the worst performance in the show because he's anomalous with this character. I'm not going to blame him for this because he's a miscast.

All in all, I have no fucking clue what this series is trying to be anymore or if there's even a cohesive plan involved with it. They've retconned so much shit, they've changed so much, they've expounded on characters who didn't need to be expounded on, they've ruined so many characters, and they've neglected so many characters, that I feel like this show is just steering itself off a cliff and Spindlehorse will probably end up filing for bankruptcy in the foreseeable three to five years.

The quality of musical composition and performance in this season has been subpar so far. Aside from Stolas song, nothing really memorable. Season 1 had cool shit like "You will be okay", "Vay Cay To Bone Town", "The Opera of Moxie" and last but not least "House of Ozmodius". "Look at this" is fucking garbage.

Edit:I do have to say though, that combination of Stolas theme and Ozzie's that plays while they are talking was really smooth.

I agree that Striker has basically become a lame punch-clock villain. He was an actual threat in his first appearance, now he just keeps getting defeated over and over for the sake of making him look incompetent I guess. Every time he’s had a moment where he otherwise could’ve been intimidating, it gets ruined by a gay sex joke or someone conveniently intervening. Kudos to them for being self-aware about it, still annoying.

And while I did find it refreshing that Blitzo was able to mend a relationship for once, it happened too quickly, just like M&M’s stupid argument popping up and getting resolved all in one episode.

I also sympathize with everyone who’s had enough of what’s become The Horny Gay Demon Show. While Ozzie and Fizz are one of the less insufferable couples, the majority of their interactions were still “haha sex we’re so gay for each other” with Ozzie being the big daddy dom and Fizz the uwu twink sub. We get it, Viv. You’re still a fujo and always will be. At least Stolas wasn’t irritating in this one.

And as for Viv stopping the Stolitz drama? Yeah, not going to happen, sorry guys. They’re her gay babies and the show has switched gears to revolving around them. This is what we’re stuck with.
