Blitzo was such a nonfactor that you could have removed him and have Ozzie deal with the stalker. And did anyone else find the deaf demon child to be just dumb?
I did, I don't see how they have magic but can't fix Fizz's broken horns, this kid's deafness, Blitzos' and Fizzs' burn scars etc.
I liked Mammon but only because Michael Cusak can say anything in that Australian voice and make me laugh
I love kids Charlie! I LOVE KIDS!!!

It was over a year ago back at the start of season 2 ( wow been a while) but i remember some inner fandom drama happened when stella said Stolas was "terrible in bad" which lead to people arguing between dozens of headcanons to explain it ("surely this proves he's 100% gay!") to people saying stella is a liar cunt who raped Stolas and it's physically impossble for stolas to be bad. Yes, some people were actually more offended Stella said Stolas is bad at sex than her abusing him for years.

What i'm saying is, yes, there are definitely HB fans who unironically care too much about "who tops" or who's "better at sex" to a serious degree. This usually stays locked deep within shipper circle but vivienne seems well aware of her own fanbase, with both Blitzo asking and her mentioning on twitter.
I usually do not like joking about this but - bets on how many of these people were molested when they were younger? No sane human with a healtht relationship to sex cares about it this much, much less in a fictional character.

Would love to dissect the psychology into fujoshi and yaoi culture..

Aside from how I SWEAR Viv's been recycling character aspects from HH recently, Like Moxxie's crime past coming directly from Angel and now Mammon and Fizz relationship being Valentino and Angel (Which is funny, because Blitzo and Stolas is already a diet, slightly nicer version of Valentino and Angel.)

Viv is really weird about writing abuse, because Blitzo can abuse Moxxie all he wants, with one episode of him realizing that its' kinda fucked, then going right back to doing it, Loona can beat the shit out of Blitzo everyday than tell Octavia to be nicer to Stolas despite pretty much never interacting with the guy, and Stolas can be...Stolas towards Blitzo, but Stella, Valentino, and apparently Mammon are the motherfuckers who cross the line because she says so?

Wally getting shoehorned in was dumb, sorry. I don't get his appeal or why they keep trying to make him relevant.
Probably because he's the only recurring character left who feels like a one dimensional retarded silly (#quirky) cartoon character instead of a terribly overblown angsty character with half assed trauma. Hopefully Viv doesn't decide to actually make him prominent ever because I don't want to see another character revolve into daddy issues or tumblr level writing shipping drama.

I thought the new episode was better than the last few but its not really by much, the things I liked the most was the Fuck You song and Mammon who actually feels like a proper villain. Outside of that, I have a few problems I might as well speak upon, just wanting to give my thoughts as season 2 has been going on.

I don't like this "new" Fizz. I liked Fizz before season 2; I don't know if its me but every time a new character is introduced but every time someone new is introduced they always feel like they have a good or decent first impression (in reference to past comments I've made about Striker, how his introduction to the series in season 1 was really good and he left a good lasting impression) and then when they appear again; it feels like their character is bastardized. Striker is a prime example, and now I feel like Fizz is. I'm guessing its from the prior episode how he has had a change in heart or something but this "development" just feels like a retreading of Angel Dust. I can't help but notice trying to keep characters consistent is a constant issue, I liked the old Fizz better and I don't like how they reduced him to another "uwu gay baby". It just feels like you can't have any cool or interesting characters without them facing the issue of being bastardized.

Second, while I enjoy focus on these side characters...what the fuck happened to IMP and the others? I know its been echod in past posts but I'm still trying to wrap my head around why they would focus on side characters? There's plenty of other methods to worldbuilding, you could do comics, literature, art, but I don't get why they choose to use episodes to flesh out the side characters when the show isn't even about them. Maybe its just me, but I'm kind of missing when it was just about imps from hell doing hitman jobs, but that is just one of those things I'll probably have to accept that this isn't about IMP anymore and more about the world and its characters.

Third; the gay shit and other Islamic Content. Others have said it and I won't go much more on that, but its pretty apparent where the focus is, rather than trying to tell a good story or make an interesting world; I know, lets focus on the gay shit.

Hatewatching this show becomes more and more insufferable as even there's no enjoyment in watching seeing the train crash and burn when you get fag shit and terrible writing choices shoved in your face. Maybe at this point its just complaints that have already been said or, retreading my own words but I really want to like the show; I like the world and the character designs. But it feels like so much potential being thrown away because Viv has a hard on for gay shit and can't write anything good if her life depended on it.

Checked the thread about recent episode on the HB subreddit, it's mostly unanimous praise but this criticism comment was kinda interesting to me since it pointed out that blitzo insulting Mammon* to his face ruined any chance of taking him seriously and the sins look more like shitty celebritiries than primordial forces of nature.

Fun fact, if we consider this the third Fizz/Ozzy focused episode, this means we technically have more Fizz/Ozzy centric episodes than Millie or Loona centric episodes! I guess what viv meant when she said HB was "male focused" she meant it's technically a yaoi show now...

Here’s the thing, both of these types of characters are garbage. Wanting a good outcome for any of the Helluva characters at this point is fruitless since Viv winds up either neutering them or making them act OOC.

Theyre female coomers. Usually shipping is just a hobby that sprouts because they're obsessed with something like Sailor Moon x Tuxedo man and want to explore what they'd be like in other situations.

Now they'd usually grow out of this after highschool where they'd hopefully had a chance to be in an actual relationship and understand the nuance and how messy they can be compared to a shoujo fantasy.

But if not then they can end up as the worst case scenario: Vivzie Medrano.

She'd probably ship him with Baxter or some shit.
I'm still genuinely not sure if Baxter still exists or if he was quietly dropped as a character. He doesn't really get brought up much these days, he doesn't seem to appear in the official merch, he doesn't have an audition sheet like the others, and we don't see a single hint of him in any of the gifs, the clip, or the trailer. The closest he ever got to even a cameo was a silhouette in the pilot. Probably for the best he remains a neat design and nothing else.

The class system of hell is only ever brought in when the plot demands it, and even then it still doesn't make sense. Imps are the lowest on the totem pole, but they can still run their own businesses, become celebrities, run the mafia. If it was only a few of them that would be okay, but it appears they have the same equal footing as the average hellborn. They're not even segregated against. There's no separate area for them to be in at Ozzie's places or at Mammon's concert. In fact, both times there seems to be a majority of imps.
