Yknow, is there an archive of Viv's older work? Asking because while she really does embrace that "Tumblr artstyle", it wasn't always a "faggot associated" artstyle. And by that I mean her early characters weren't completely made for sucking dicks 24/7. IIRC, AngelDust was in a relationship with Vaggie before the show dropped (as well as being way more neurotic than what we got), and Alastor was a odd black-deer looking creature and not the "fancy gentleman, but not really" Gary Stu in the end either. What I'm saying is is that it seems like her old art was a lot more diverse into what her characters were like before the fujo brainrot took her over.

Its idea is cool as shit, but Viv's immaturity, horny fujo shit, and deteriorating artstyle led to all of this and her basically squandering gold.

I'm looking through this, and it comes off to me like Charlie as a character came out of nowhere when Vivzie needed some sort of character to fill in a hole in the character dynamic. It doesn't seem like Vivzie drew her for 8 years before the pilot like she did with Alastor or AD. Her acting and coming off as rather thin and "one-note" in the series proper makes a lot more sense as a result.

Apparently the current iteration of Charlie didn't come into existence until 2016.

Honestly, the name does kind of fit her character back then since she was a prostitute that was trying to act like she was above everyone else. So having just one letter off from vagina and it being a "y" kind of reflects since she's trying to be better but can't escape from her past. Is it juvenile? Yeah, but it's kind clever since most of the characters' names weren't really names and were more of a reflection of their personality.
